AFTER SALES SERVICE BRILLIANT
Bought one of their models a good 5 or 6 years ago, and needed a small part after I broke something when giving the extractor a clean.
Immediately answered my request for help and sent me the part FREE OF CHARGE.
Cannot recommend highly enough, especially in this day and age 👍

Great customer service
Ordered two hoods. There was a holdup on the grilles for the ductwork but the hoods were delivered promptly and I was kept apprised of what was happening with the grilles without me needing to chase them up. The hood we have installed so far is quiet, efficient and looks great. I would recommend the company without hesitation.

Brilliant support
We love our canopy cooker hood but were getting interference between it and our nearby tv remote. I emailed Luxair, received a prompt and helpful response. Problem solved. Happy days!

BE WARNED NOT TO CHOSE LUXAIR HOODS
What went wrong is I trusted & acted on advice by LUXAIR Engineer & everything is wrong. Only showed me a picture on his phone, did'nt say it was different size than existing. paid around £1200 for 2 hoods that have made my kitchen WORSE. I hope I can upload phones & the shocking response. Last one saying "We dont do 600mm Hoods & engineer told you his choice 540mm" YET IT SHOWS 600mm HOODS on there site. Horrendous experience, I,ve been running a business for 40 years & WORST EXPIERIENCE IN THAT TIME. Told me to pursue them in court if I Want !!!, Took our existing Bosch Hoods away WITHOUT asking that we require for another kitchen as nearly new. Don't waste money paying for a survey that IF wrong WILL BE YOUR FAULT. I'm now having to replace with 2 x AEG Hoods & take the long & costly road to seek justice through the courts

Following a review of your case, our understanding is that you requested a site survey to be carried out by our engineer.
You were present on the day of the visit and spent time discussing at length your options with him, during which a full inspection of the property was undertaken.
Based on this, our engineer advised that the cooker hoods would need to be installed in recirculating mode.
He also recommended the 54cm canopy models as the most suitable replacement for your existing visor hoods, and provided a demonstration via our website.
Subsequently, a detailed quotation was shared with you outlining the specific model recommended, including the associated costs for installation.
Please note that the visit and quotation were provided on a no-obligation basis.
The engineer’s recommendation was offered as professional guidance, and it remained your responsibility to review the proposal and ensure it aligned with your personal preferences and requirements.
Had you wished to consider alternative models, or had specific concerns, these could have been raised prior to installation.
Unfortunately, no such instructions were communicated to us at the time.
Regarding sizing, your original setup included two 60cm visor hoods.
As we do not manufacture 60cm canopy hoods, the 54cm model was recommended as the closest fit. These models are not only more powerful than your previous units but were also, in our engineer’s opinion, a more aesthetically pleasing solution.
Our website clearly displays this model installed in customer homes, including images that show potential gaps between the hood and the surrounding cabinetry. You are correct that we do manufacture 60cm hoods, but we do not manufacture 60cm canopy hoods, which is the style you stated you wanted.
We regret that you are dissatisfied with the outcome. However, as you were not directly involved in overseeing the installation & chose to delegate the matter to others, we must respectfully state that Luxair cannot accept liability for any perceived shortcomings, particularly when the relevant information was clearly shared with you in advance at the point of the site survey and then again on the detailed quotation.
Mr Parks, at no point have we advised you should pursue action via court proceedings, we were advised by yourself that unless we were to replace the hoods that you had initially agreed upon, then you would be taking us to court. At which point we advised you are, of course, entitled to pursue legal action should you feel this matter remains unresolved. However, based on the above, Luxair is not in a position to offer a replacement for the hoods installed as you have received the service you have paid for and agreed to at the time of accepting the quotation.
As we have advised, we are happy to return your original extractor units as requested and these are scheduled to be returned to you next week. Additionally, should you wish, we have advised we are willing to send an engineer to adjust the ducting above the units to better meet your satisfaction.

LEDs don't last!!!
The extractor hood is really good and very powerful but the LED bulbs which they want £39 plus delivery for to replace didn't last more than 24 months.
The life span of an LED if used 3 hours a day should be 22 years.
Buyers beware - they didn't want to help with replacing these for free!

We’re sorry to hear that you’re unhappy with the LED strips, but we’d like to clarify a few points for accuracy. The cooker hood you have, is now 5 years old. In 2023, despite your cooker hood being out of warranty due to no warranty having been registered, we replaced the faulty LED fitting free of charge as a gesture of goodwill.
When 2 years later you reported a second issue with the other LED fitting—now with the appliance being five years old—we explained that we could not offer another free replacement due to the unit being out of warranty. However, we did offer a generous discount as a further goodwill gesture.
We’re sorry that you remain dissatisfied, but we believe we’ve acted fairly and responsibly throughout.

Quality cooker hood
Recently installed a LA-70-ISL curved island cooker hood as a replacement for a 10 year old circular unit. What a pleasure to install the Luxair unit. From the mounting plate through to the final sliding in to place of the inner chimney sleeve, everything went smoothly. Nice looking extractor, decent lighting level and an efficient, quiet extract fan. Would definitely recommend Luxair to other installers.

Have contacted this company twice about spare parts for my cooker hood. They are absolutely brilliant. Didn’t even have to pay and they sent the parts through the post the 2 days later. Will definitely buy their products because their after care service is so good.

Great advice, super delivery and a great extractor too
When I called Luxair Sales they helped us choose the right extractor and advised on suitable ducting. Lee, the delivery driver, kept us informed and arrived bang on time. He unpacked/checked our extractor for damage and told us how to clean when it is fitted. Thanks to all the Luxair team.

Fantastic service
Fantastic service. Bought a 2nd hand cooker hood from another supplier and had a number of issues with it, the guys at Luxair helped me sort it out even although they didn’t need to. Special thanks to Erin and Simon and big shout out to Hollie, who all went the extra mile to exceed my expectations. I was so impressed that I binned the old one and bought a new one safe in the knowledge that I could rely on this guys if I had any further issues. Ordered the extractor that I needed and didn't think existed having searched the internet for days . 1200 long with controls on the underside .
The delivery man arrived and checked the product for damage. He offered welcome advise on cleaning handling and extraction ducting. Nice experience !

Super pleased with the service…
We are super pleased with the service from Luxair. Our delivery driver, Lee kept us updated with a delivery window and arrived exactly on time. He unpacked and checked our in ceiling extractor for damage and advised on how to handle it when it is fitted. Great service from someone who is a credit to his company.

Impressed !!
We are 5 years into 7 year warranty. Out of the blue the 1st fan speed stopped working. Within a week we have had a new motor fitted by an engineer who clearly knew his stuff and it was done in minutes. Very impressed.

Cooker hood delivered by Lee for Luxair. We received a text and email the day before; we replied to confirm the delivery to be between 12-2pm; he arrived promptly at 12. The large box was carefully taken out of the van and into our home, and he opened the box with us to check the contents. Great delivery service - thanks Lee!

Lee checked the extractor out to ensure it had not been damaged or marked, which it hadn’t. He then repacked it before requesting my signature for receipt.
