We are very pleased with our purchase from Lovell Homes. The design of the homes is modern and well-planned, with quality finishes and thoughtful layouts. The customer service has also been exceptional, with staff being professional and helpful throughout the process

Personal engagement and human touch with their new builds' team and keeping us both informed and engaged in the process. Quick and efficient in responses and what is required for the exchange and completion, and keeping us updated so far on the whole process.

I've recently reserved my new home at Laurel Gate with the Early Bird scheme and the whole experience has been fantastic from start to finish.

A special thank you to Vicki Phelps, who has been absolutely brilliant throughout. She’s been friendly, knowledgeable and always happy to answer my questions, nothing has been too much trouble. She really made me feel confident and excited about our decision.

I recently placed a reservation on a beautiful Lovell home at Central Square, Winchburgh, and the whole experience has been excellent. From the very first handshake to signing the reservation documents, Jacqueline McPhee was absolutely on the ball. She was polite, respectful, and genuinely helpful throughout. Every question I had — and there were plenty — was answered confidently and without delay. Her professionalism made the entire process smooth and stress‑free. A real credit to Lovell Homes.

We dealt with Lorraine and from start to finish she was excellent , helpful & very knowledgeable , we would recommend her highly and are delighted with our new home.

We have only reserved our plot so far so cant comment on anything after this point just yet but the experience we have had so far has been excellent. Nikki at Oakwood Edge has been really great, very friendly and approachable with all our questions as first time buyers. Excited for the next steps and Nikki was very informative and knowledgeable about everything that will happen going forward.

Bella was absolutely fabulous! We talked everything through clearly and with great knowledge. She allayed some of my concerns with kindness and good understanding. She couldn’t have been anymore helpful; a true asset to your team!

I regret the day we purchased our house on the Sandcastles development. We have had multiple issues including fascia boards dropping off, towel rails that do not meet NHBC standard leading to freezing bathrooms this winter, wall staining that took multiple complaints before action was taken, badly fitting doors and windows with gaps big enough to see daylight, unsupported gas flue pipes and over twenty more minor faults. At present we are still waiting for bathroom towel rails to be replaced, but no-one will give us a date when it will happen so using the bathroom continues to be a miserable experience for me and my disabled wife. If they want to contact us to apologise and actually fix the outstanding issue - not fob us off yet again with "the plumber will be in touch" - then Don Anderson the Regional Director already has our number. Don't ask me to ring "Customer Care".

Today I have received a date for the towel rails to be fitted, coincidental with Lovell's reply to the original review. The response regarding Jarvis fixing window gaps refers to blinds not being removed and two revised dates. This is incorrect, the date of 9th March was fixed over a week ago and there has been no visit cancelled due to non removal of blinds.

Great service & very helpful people & lovely homes & explained very well

We recently visited the Lovell Homes development at Edward’s Birch in Morpeth. Bella in sales was so helpful, we were so impressed with her knowledge of the house types and upgrades available. Bella made us feel comfortable and not pressurised whatsoever. We will definitely be going back hopefully to buy our next house.

Only gone for 1 star as 0 is not an option. Catastrophe from start to finish. Sub contractors average at best. Site agent, good guy but the point of contact was non existent, she wasn’t contactable at all. Only point of contact I’ve ever met who’s on other jobs but leaves her phone in the office?? Shower fitted wrong, wrong holes drilled, had to then have the wall redone which then took another few days, wrong people turning up on wrong days. Painter painting over wet plaster, the morning after it had been done.
Electricians turning up to connect a shower which still hadn’t been fitted. Nearly 3 weeks without a working bath or shower. I could go on all day about all the issues we had. Snagging list was never fulfilled even after site agent came and saw the state of it.

The staff at the sales office Pires, Tanya & Shelia were very helpful and informative the choice of Kitchen colours, flooring and worktops also the very generous contribution from Lovells towards those items and the way your houses 🏘 are built with block & brick not timber I would definitely recommend your company

We are looking to relocate from Manchester up to the north east. We visited the Edward's Birch new build site at Morpeth. We sat down with Bella in the sales office, she was absolutely delightful, we found her extremely helpful and knowledgeable. We had a lot of questions which she was able to answer very much to our satisfaction.

When you get the keys to you're new house, someone from Lovell will come round with you with a clipboard and note the defects down, promising to rectify the issues promptly. In our experience (which seems to be shared with a lot of people), this does not happen. Prepare to spend the next few years battling to get each issue fixed one by one. Inevitably, this will go on longer than the timeframe Lovell are obliged to sort the issues. As such, they will not get fixed.
We have been in our house almost 5 years now and there are still issues yet to be rectified. Issues that have previously been rectified now need attention again. The latest of these is the front door which has broken due to it being fitted incorrectly TWICE.
Lovell will reply to this review promising to "look further into it", but nothing will happen - it will be outside their timeframe. They clearly think getting through 3 front doors in less than 5 years is acceptable.
Also, you may move in to your home while the roads/pavements on the estate are not finished and be told not to worry and that they will be completed before the builders leave the site as they don't want to damage surfacing with construction plant. We live on a cul-de-sac which has been completed since 2021 and still don't have finished road or pavement surfacing. The whole estate is a complete mess with construction rubble still visible through the weeds on communal green spaces and the roads have raised ironworks, huge kerbs and craters.
The sales representatives are very good at what they do, and I'm sure the promises they make are made in good faith, but don't fall for their lies. Customer Care staff are friendly and polite and I'm grateful for their help, but seem very limited on what they can action.

I just wanted to say how wonderful Bella is at your Northgate site. My family and I visited last wkd to discuss a relocation to Morpeth from Yorkshire.

Bella was so friendly, approachable and knowledgeable that we instantly felt at ease. We did fall in love with one of the houses and were ready to start the ball moving but we have had some disappointing news regarding school availability in the local area for our girls...basically there aren't any spaces presently (for their school years) and this means there won't be any in September if things remain the same.

Also, with the exact plot we wanted not being ready until Dec, (we wanted to move in the summer so our children could get settled), we are now having to rethink whether a move is actually feasible.

Nevertheless, I wanted to ensure that Bella received the credit she deserves. She was a breath of fresh air; we viewed houses at other developments and spoke to a number of sales people in the area, but Bella made us feel 'at home' straight away.

Our young daughters also loved the Werther's originals in the office and the little fruits shoots which were a lovely touch 😊. I'm sure these houses will sell in no time at all with Bella on board!

Myles has overall site control of this new development. Our experience was made very stress free ,due to the first class workmanship , and general attention to detail , in the construction and handover of the property. The site is a credit to Myles and the lads who work with him . Post handover service is first class and no items or queries raised go unanswered or attended to . We had a fantastic experience with Lovell Homes, and I want to especially thank Lorraine for being absolutely exceptional throughout the whole process. From start to finish, she was professional, friendly, supportive, and always willing to go the extra mile to help.

My mother -in-law has recently moved into her new property on The Driftwood site in Hunstanton . The whole sale process has been handled by Heather, from start to finish . She has been patient , kind , very knowledgeable and informative throughout . Nothing has been too much trouble for her , in what has been a very big relocation for an elderly lady . My partner and her mother - Mrs Sansom , and myself would like to thank Heather for all her efforts and hard work . Safe to say that we we undoubtably recommend anyone thinking of relocating to Norfolk to head for Driftwood .

Although I don’t have anything to compare in terms of buying a home from a plan. Bella has been not just knowledgeable, and able to respond to every question she had been experienced in the pace of information needed. She appreciates how there are lots of decisions, happy choices but lots of them. We went down to the Northallerton site and had a really positive first impression of the show home and overall quality. Northgate was very much a building site at Christmas.
