Second Persimmon house I have bought and this purchase was not as good quality as my first. On the moving in day, the house was filthy. Dust and dirt. Grass was laid 2 weeks before moving in and was not watered. Burnt and not knitting, with Lumps and ruble all on top and under the turf. Most of the stair spindles have gloss drips. Woodwork is rough and not rubbed down in places before painted. Silicone corking has been rushed and messy, especially in corner joints. Bath not sealed properly. Plug socket wired back to front. Leaking shower and bath. Wall and ceiling paint is flaking . Overall the house looks as if it's been rushed to get it finished. No attention to detail at all.
Great staff who helped guide me through the purchasing process and kept me informed throughout.
Came to replace sealant in the bath, was pleasant and tidy. Did a great job

Recently had some warranty work completed one some interior doors. Excellent work from the two persimmon lads Nick Threadgold the joiner and Gary Haggerty the painter/patcher. 5 stars to both lads.

If I could give a 0 I would.
The customer experience from the sales team has been ridiculous from the get go. Both Sion and Mary from the willowfields site, the customer care team and the member of management Morwennawe have all been equally atrocious. From outright lies to an overall lack of ownership, empathy and common human decency. We have had no issues that we haven’t had to chase up multiple times. We have had every issue imaginable and this whole experience has turned into a costly nightmare. There was over 110 defects- ongoing and we have just waited 6 weeks to have a shower sealed. The communication is non existent unless you chase it up. We were not told about social housing within our phase, then lied to when they tried to justify not telling us the tenure of the properties under GDPR. When in this case GDPR would not apply. The house was in such a state when we were given the keys the site manager openly said it was ridiculous that we were given them in this condition. Later we were advised by staff that this was rushed so staff could obtain end of year bonuses. Several bags of rubble had to be removed from the property prior to flooring being fitted and I could not enter the property due to the dust affecting my health. Wrong utilities that we had paid additional amounts for were not fitted. Everything has went wrong that could have. Persimmon after weeks of complaint have advised that we have not suffered material or financial or material distress, I would beg to differ. They are only interested in sales and do not care about anything else you may experience. I have made several prospective buyers aware and will continue to do so. I would never have bought if I had known what their aftercare and complaint handling was like and wish I could turn back time.
We’ve just bought our first home and are so happy we chose Persimmon Homes. Constable Vale is such a lovely development! Most of all I’d like to thank Megan, who was our Sales Advisor and guided us through this whole process, she was a breath of fresh air. As we’d not done this before we were unsure of the process but Megan made this so easy and straight forward. Thank you!

Our main request was for a few cracks to be filled and some mastic to be re-done, not only did Bogdan complete this, he went round our house and filled in any other issues we missed including adding WD 40 to our squeaky doors, he went above and beyond and even stopped to play our dog :)

Kevin at Persimmon orchard gardens has been so helpful over the past few months. We have had ALOT of problems with our house and he has been a constant help. We are still going through the snags even after 5 months of living here and its been really upsetting having so many issues with the house but kevin has been amazing. Millie in cust care also. I torture that girl almost every day with new issues that arise. We have had lots of snags. We still find things constantly. Its not been a great journey but millie has been helpful and calm throughout. Even when i have been furious at the state of this house she has been great. I think persimmons need more people like them.

Terrible issues with excessive radio noise from the builders, who like to swear and shout quite loudly when they aren’t wailing along to the radio - can be heard inside the house with all doors, windows and vents closed so may also be to poor build quality- several complaints put into Persimmon who then said they changed the site to a no radio site as they agreed the noise was excessive. This didn’t stop the issue so kept email the office and director Dean Finch, but they seem to have blocked my emails as these now bounce back. Complaint made on here instead and they said the office had been informed and they would get back in touch and unsurprisingly this never happened.
Terrible mess including dangerous sharp nails and screws repeatedly thrown onto our drive and rubbish from their lunch left to fly around the street and in our garden.
Still haven’t fixed the paint/ render on the front wall of our house since we moved in in Sep 2024.
The bin area has still not been built.
Were told when we bought we would have to use Fibrenest broadband but would soon have lots of other options. This still hasn’t happened and Fibrenest is a poor service that frequently drops out and has been off for 2 full days within the last month.
I would never recommend Persimmon to anyone under any circumstance.
Today Frank attended to fix our ceiling. He was professional and talked through everything he was going to do. He did a fabulous job. Thanks Frank!

We recently moved into our new home at Coseley New Village and felt it was important to share our experience.
From start to finish, the process with Persimmon Homes has been very positive. Buying a new build can sometimes feel daunting, but the support and communication we received throughout made everything run smoothly and gave us real confidence in our purchase.
Since moving in, we have been extremely happy with the quality of our home. There have only been very minor snags, which is to be expected with any new build, and these have been minimal. The overall finish and attention to detail throughout the property really shows the level of care and effort that has gone into building it.
A special mention must go to Sanj, the Site Manager at Coseley New Village. He has been absolutely outstanding. He is always approachable, professional, and incredibly helpful, taking the time to guide us through any queries and ensuring that any issues are dealt with promptly. It’s clear that he takes great pride in his work and genuinely cares about the homes being delivered and the people living in them.
We would also like to give a special mention to Charlene and Audrey at the site office, who are always a delight to see and catch up with. Credit must also go to them for their consistently friendly, welcoming, and helpful approach, which really adds to the overall positive experience of visiting the site office.
We will also be completing the NHBC survey and leaving feedback on other platforms, as we believe good service and quality work should be recognised.
Overall, we are very happy in our new home and would not hesitate to recommend Persimmon Homes to friends and family.
