I ordered two pairs of glasses from Lexxola from the EU. They were held up at customs, and it was clear from the start that they could not be delivered: the customs office and the trade supervisory authority were missing documents from the seller.

Instead of acknowledging the incorrect customs declaration, Lexxola offered me a replacement shipment, despite my repeated explanations that the goods could not arrive in this way. The replacement made no sense. There was no acceptance of responsibility.

The refund took almost 8 weeks and only came after I followed up several times. I had to pay the customs fees myself, even though the problem was the sellers fault. These fees are collected by the shipping carrier and are intransparent for customers who shop at Lexxola.

For me, this was the worst customer service experience I have ever had.

I bought some glasses, but they did not fit well. Emily went above and beyond to help me with the exchange. She was patient and kind the whole time. She listened to what I needed and gave me good advice. Thanks to her, I found glasses I really love.

I love designer sunglasses. As a Fashion Buyer , I am obsessed & always on the look out for the best quality, trendiest sunnies.
I saw on social media a U.K. brand. Lexxola , with great oversized sunglasses & they were in the sale! I initially thought supporting smaller UK brand is good & immediately purchased 2 sunglasses online from Lexxola but unfortunately they were just too small. I contacted Lexxola customer service immediately to arrange the return . Red flag, you need to email the brand to get return instructions.
Customer service were very reluctant to give me a refund. As a Fashion Buyer , I know about online consumer law / protection in the U.K. & the 14 day rule.
There were several emails & finally they agreed to a refund . So frustrating & time consuming.
I paid £6 postage & packing for the sunglasses to be returned. I received an email confirming the warehouse had received the package & a refund would be processed 7-10 days.
It’s been 3 weeks, still waiting for the refund.
I have contacted customer service by email, no response. If they do not respond or give me a refund in the next 7 days , I will contact my bank & tell them this company, the transaction is FRAUDULENT.
Do not purchase from this brand because they have no understanding of consumer rights & protection. They will fob you off with their terms & conditions but that is irrelevant as it is for store purchases. Online consumer rights trumps their T&C’s policy.
Bad customer service reflects poor management .
Buy from a more reputable company, that respects customers time, money & their rights.

Emily and the team at Lexxola went above and beyond to accommodate my orders to Canada. Their customer service is truly exceptional and it's clear they genuinely value their customers. I've ordered glasses from Lexxola before and have always been impressed with the outstanding quality, but this experience reaffirmed that their service is just as impressive. They made the entire process seamless, and I couldn't be happier. Highly recommend!

Terrible customer service. After chasing a missing parcel, I was given no help locating it and had to wait 4 weeks for a refund — with communication completely dropping off along the way. Eventually got there, but only after repeatedly following up myself.

I'd also like to flag that the right to return items is a statutory right in the UK, so their no-return policy is not only misleading but is likely generating unnecessary stress for their own Customer Service team.

Before discovering the brand, I had never found a contemporary pair that captured that curved silhouette of the 90s quite the way Lexxola does.

Most importantly, though, this message is for Emily.

You have always been incredibly kind, thoughtful, and helpful throughout every interaction. You are truly a gem.
The few exchanges we’ve had genuinely brightened my day, and that’s just amazing customer service.

Beautiful product with incredible customer service!

Beware of buying from Lexxola. I ordered some sunglasses that were discounted for a short period of time, without a warning or any indication that I won’t be eligible for refund to my original payment. No “final sale” note, no small text, nothing in their FAQ’s.

I waited 10 days for them to get back to me with refund comfirmation and eventually had to email to ask for my refund which they refused.

Meanwhile, the sunglasses aren’t even on sale anymore.

Won’t be buying again

I was genuinely excited to try Lexxola for the first time, but this was an extremely disappointing experience.

My order (#545420) was never delivered due to a carrier error, not because of anything I did. The parcel was returned by DPD, yet I was left waiting for over a week with no proper response or solution from Lexxola’s customer service.

I had to eventually file a chargeback with my bank because I was left with no choice.

Very disappointing customer service and a very poor first impression of the brand.

Kept me updated through the whole shipment from informing me about the delay to corresponding with every question I had and ensuring that I felt well taken care of. I received a pair of sunglasses as a Christmas gift, but unfortunately they broke after just a couple of wears. I reached out to customer service and was helped by Emily, who went above and beyond. The style I originally had was out of stock, but she quickly arranged to send me a new pair completely free of charge. Since I was traveling at the time, she even shipped them to the address where I was staying so I didn’t have to wait until I returned to the States.

It’s rare to come across such thoughtful, accommodating service these days. Emily made what could have been a frustrating situation into a really positive experience. Couldn’t be happier with how it was handled!
