Service ist katastrophal - für eine Premium-Marke unwürdig
Der Kontakt zum Kundendienst ist nicht möglich. Zu unterschiedlichen Zeiten jeweils 10 Minuten in der Warteschleife gehangen - schließlich (wie vorgeschlagen) um RR gebeten, auch per Chatbot im Web das Anliegen mitgeteilt. Jedes Mal kommt die Nachricht, man würde sich umgehend zurückmelden. Nach 2 Tagen aber immer noch keine Reaktion. Die ehemalige Premium-Marke katapultiert sich hier ins Abseits! Auch wenn ich mit der Bügelstation bisher zufrieden bin, kann ich hier nur 2 Punkte vergeben.

Disappointing experience, bad quality, poor customer service
I am writing this review to express my deep dissatisfaction with the Laurastar Iron and the company's customer service. Initially, I was excited about investing in what seemed to be a high-quality iron. Unfortunately, my experience has been far from satisfactory.
At first, the Laurastar Iron performed well and met my expectations. However, shortly after the warranty period expired, the iron broke down. Given the premium price I paid, I expected it to last much longer. The issue seemed to be a mechanical failure, which I believe should not happen so soon with a product that is marketed as top-of-the-line.
Dealing with Laurastar's customer service has been a nightmare. When I reached out for support, I was met with unhelpful and dismissive responses.
I even asked if they could provide a repair service, but they wanted me to pay 150€ for the repair from my pocket. It appears that Laurastar does not stand behind their products once the warranty period is over, leaving customers like myself feeling frustrated and unsupported.
Overall, my experience with Laurastar has been extremely disappointing. The iron breaking down right after the warranty period and the subsequent poor customer service have left me regretting my purchase. I would advise potential buyers to consider other brands that offer better durability and customer support.

Avoid Laurastar if You Value Your Money
Recently bought a Laurastar Lift Xtra and it was really really disappointing. First of all the product is not cheap. We had to wait 3 months for the steam iron and had to paid in full in advance. That is fine.
Once we got the it and on the very first time we use it, it was spewing water together with the steam making our clothes stained. It is not functional at all.
Edit: Manage to get a one for one replacement. The new Lift Xtra is working well so far. Still sceptical of the product QC and long term reliability due to our initial experience.

Horrible experience with Laura Star.
I had a very bad experience with Laurastar. I purchased 2 Laurastar S5, after 1 year, I made the mistake to replace these 2 S5 and I purchased 5pces S6 and 1 model pure for my different homes. What a mistake. First of all, for those who purchase the item in Switzerland and pay CHF1690, just know that the same model costs EUR620 and you take back the VAT. A price policy that is totally unacceptable. They really take Swiss customers for pigeons. But the worst comes. Just after the warranty, all of my products started to have issues. I contacted the technical support in Switzerland, in France, and in the UAE. In all cases, I had to put the product to rubbish, as the cost of repairis a flat fee that almost reaches the price of the product in Germany. Avoid this brand! My advice.

Le câble ne tient plus sans se renrouler... après même pas un an d'utilisation. Je suis minutieuse donc j'entretiens mes affaires.
j'ai consulté à plusieurs le SAV qui promet tjs de vous remvoyer les produits qui dysfonctionnent mais ces derniers n'arrivent jamais ! Une honte !!!!! Laura star ... plus JAMAIS !

I have made my purchase in the start of this month! Unfortunately I have received my new system which was used and was leaking in my carpet ( which caused me to have it professionally cleaned ) , I have contacted you immediately and informed you and it ..
unfortunately nothing was taking seriously and all I have been hearing is misleading information. I was told that it will be replaced (exchanged ) but it needs to be collected from my house first and once you receive my one you will exchange!
This is my second iron system from your company but I never had to deal with you in person! For such big company I would expect a little more professional services but all I have received so far is very much poor and disappointing customer service!

even one star is too much for them
even one star is too much for them. I paid for 2 products, only one was delivered. Over a month now I am trying to either get a replacement or refund - not answering emails, hanged up on me on the phone.

Service client incompétent
Service client incompétent. Ils ne vous tiennent pas informé par mail de la prise en charge de votre appareil. Aucun suivi par mail du retour marchandise. Ils ne s’inquiètent de rien mi même de votre satisfaction client. Du grand n’importe quoi. C’est vous qui gérez votre propre problème : à peine s’il vous demande de réparer vous même !!
Pour ma part ça fait 3 mois que j’attends ma centrale…. Et aucune excuse au nom de Laurastar bien sûr ils sont trop imbus de leur image.

Le fer à repasser m'a lâché au bout de 3 ans. Coût d'une réparation 199 €. Toutes les centrales vapeur que j'ai eues auparavant ont tenu 10 ans. Pour le prix d'une centrale Laurastar, la qualité n'est pas au rendez-vous. Je n'achèterai plus cette marque.
Service après-vente Catastrophique !!
Ma Laurastar que j'ai payé CHF 1730.- coule au niveau du réservoir d'eau. C'est sûrement pas grand chose mais la réparation coûte CHF 599.- . Le pire c'est le Service après-vente inatteignable par téléphone, chat... j'ai eu plus de chance avec Whatsapp mais échange plus que évasif. Vraiment déplorable pour des appareils aussi chers et fabriqués je ne sais où.

Do Not Waste Your Money!!
For a product costing over £1,200, I had expected more. We spend 40% of the year at another address, so our 08/20 machine has probably had barely 2 years' use. We send shirts and bedding out to an ironing service, so it doesn't even work that hard. Yet it has failed. The service agents responded quickly, told us the iron had to go to tge service centre - flat charge for whatever needs fixing of £259. This is a very high cost of ownership. So high in fact, that I can't see the value in persevering with this product as it just isn't that good, that on top of the high purchase cost you have to pay the equivalent of £65 per year in service costs. That's the price of a 'Which' magazine best but steam iron!! Laurastar clearly just not worth the high outlay. Don't buy.
Extortionate servicing
We have a Laurastar S4 and having had it serviced for a number of years, Laurastar have jacked up the service price from just over £100 to £600. Half the cost of a new system and all I wanted was a service! Definitely won’t replace the sytem with another Laurastar

Déception totale de la centrale vapeur Laurastar lift pinky
"Je suis totalement déçu par la centrale vapeur Laurastar Lift Plus Punky. Initialement séduit par son design, je suis maintenant profondément déçu par ses performances. Dès les premières utilisations, j'ai rencontré des problèmes de fuite de vapeur et d'eau, rendant le repassage laborieux et inefficace, et même endommageant certains de mes vêtements. Après avoir contacté le service après-vente, qui a pris en charge la réparation après plus d'un mois d'attente, j'ai finalement reçu un nouvel appareil encore pire que le premier. La performance de cette centrale vapeur est médiocre, et j'ai été choqué de constater que des taches roses provenant de l'appareil se déposaient sur mes vêtements à chaque repassage, les rendant irrémédiablement tachés. J'ai même dû utiliser du dissolvant pour tenter de nettoyer les vêtements blancs et de couleur. L'appareil est tout simplement inutilisable, et le fait que le service après-vente demande 149 € pour la réparation des défauts de fabrication est décevant. Je déconseille vivement l'achat de cette centrale vapeur, qui ne répond pas du tout aux attentes publicitaires. Pour moi, il s'agit d'un gaspillage d'argent qui a sérieusement compromis l'état des vêtements de toute ma famille, et je regrette amèrement cet achat."

Gerät nach exakt 3 Jahren kaputt. Wäsche wird komplett nass bei Dampfbetätigung, und schaltet einfach im Bügelvorgang ab. Alles nach Vorgabe gepflegt, immer Originalfilter genutzt. Jetzt gibt es einen Reparaturvotschlag für 150 Euro. Ehrlicherweise unverschämt bei einem gerade drei Jahre altem Gerät. Bei einem 400 Euro Gerät erwarte ich bessere Ingenieurleistung, dass Funktion oder Bauteile nicht nach so kurzer Zeit den Geist aufgeben.
Pauschalreparaturpreise aus Fernbeurteilung anhand der Seriennummer in dieser Höhe sind hier unangebracht.
Angebracht wäre, das Gerät auf Herstellerkosten zu untersuchen und ggf. dann bei unsachgemäßem Gebrauch Reparaturkosten anzufordern, bei Materialschwäche zu reparieren und zwar kostenlos.

Think of your worst customer service experience and then triple it - even worse than Envi
When Laurastar products work, they are brilliant. When they stop, they are an expensive mistake.
Uplift Plus: This is a brilliant steam generator iron which suddenly stopped switching on after only 2.5 years. Changing the fuse did not seem to alter the problem. For an almost £400 iron which is used once per week, this is really dreadful quality, especially when I previously had a £100 steam generator iron which lasted me almost 10 years. I contacted Laurastar and since the iron was still under warranty, it was sent to a UK based company for repair. It has now been returned and works again, but for how long I do not know.
Iggi: a lovely little portable steam iron when it worked. However, the cap suddenly seized and would no longer open a little after a year of ownership meaning it cannot be filled with water and used. This was not a product that I used regularly and which was stored in the carry case that it came with. This cost me almost £200 plus the cost of compatible accessories. Looking at these reviews the cap suddenly seizing appears to be a common problem. So much so, that it looks to be a design fault. When I contacted Laurastar they told me to try WD40 to loosen the cap. This did not work. Initially they told me that it was no longer under warranty so could not be repaired. However, as my Uplift Plus then stopped working a couple of months later the quality and longevity of their products became the main point of contention. Laurastar agreed to repair the Iggi, however the UK based repair company cannot fix it so it would need to be sent to Hungary. Laurastar offered this at the end of January and I happily agreed because the greatest appeal of these products was that they could be repaired. Having notified them initially of this issue in September 2023, five months later by 20/02/2024 I am still in the same position. Whilst they sent a box for the Iggi to be packed into for collection two weeks ago, for some unbeknowst reason they are stalling on initiating a collection with TNT, their approved courier. I asked whether I could drop it off somewhere. No. I asked for a return label to be sent, I was told that logistics would email me a label yesterday afternoon. Surprise surprise it was not sent. Emails go unanswered. I called again this morning asking where the label was - another email would be sent to logistics as the customer service representative could not do it himself. Even the customer services rep at Amazon can do this, so I find this surprising. It takes minutes to organise a return shipping label for a courier so I am at a loss as to why it has taken a month to organise.
These are my last Laurastar purchases, and I will be avoiding this company in the future. The customer service aftercare is horrendous and more frustrating than dealing with Envi or eBay. At least you know what you're in for with these companies, but with Laurastar being sold on the premise of quality and longevity the customer service afercare is the most shocking and disappointing aspect of this company. Quality and longeivity both merely marketing bumf. I do not believe that my Iggi will ever be collected for repair but I will keep on at them daily.
Update: Following this review, I received a courier label for collection tomorrow and was delighted. However, that delight was short lived when I discovered it was not actually for me but for a customer 100 miles away. My concern now is with Laurastar's compliance with data protection laws in the jurisdictions in which it operates.

Es sind keine innenliegende Ersatzteile möglich zu erwerben. Bin seit Tagen mit Laurastar am diskutieren. Nein, die Firma möchte ja 280 Euro verdienen wo mein Mann selbst erledigen könnte. Nicht mit uns. Vorher schmeiße ich das Bügeleisen in den Elektroschrott. Fazit: Nie wieder Laurastar

Miserabler Service
Ich habe ein neues Laurastar gekauft, dass sich als defekt herausgestellt hat. Keinen Ersatz bekommen da dies nur innert 2 Wochen geschieht. Die WhatsApp Kontaktnummer wird nur alle paar Tage bedient. Nein Bügeleisen ist nunnschon 10 Tage bei Laurastar und ich warte und warte. Miserabler Service!! Sie nützen ihre Machtposition aus.
