Ladybird Insurance Anmeldelser 

Just bought a new car so tried to change the vehicle insurance details online kept not recognising the vehicle. Eventually had to phone up only to be told (after 4 failed attempts) that ladybird do not insure electric vehicles. They advised that I should ask for a refund and put me through to a different department. All good or so I thought until I was told I had to pay a nearly £150 cancellation fee. I explained that I didn’t want to cancel and was more than happy to stay but i was told yet again that they couldn’t insure this type of vehicle. I questioned why I was getting charged a cancellation fee when I wasn’t the one cancelling my insurance to be told this was procedure. So please give this company a wide berth unless you can guarantee you wont be changing your vehicle.

Best insurance you can get if you have been unlucky and had 3 accidents in less than 5 years and known where your fault. Still overcharges but at least they are reasonable.

Very complicated company structure, very poor customer service. 4 different companies involved not talking to each other. Everything you have to call yourself to different companies and babysit. Do not recommend.

Ignore this company they don't know the hell doing when l have spoken customer service for purchasing the car insurance for pay monthly but they've been taken annually payment from my account now lm going to cancel it...

I have a car insurance policy with Ladybird. Ladybird Insurance Company and Kindertons (their claim handler) both are rubbish. Do not buy any car insurance from them, they are totally useless when you want to make a claim. Do not make the same mistake that I made.

Don’t bother wasting your time with this insurance company. In all the years that I’ve had car insurance no company has ever asked that I take and submit pictures of my car from all angles with the date and time written on a card and placed on the car. In addition they will request DVLA codes and also insist on copies of driving license for ALL drivers, main driver and named drivers.
Be prepared to hand over all your data if you choose to insure with them, otherwise they will take your money and cancel the policy.

It was okay but I was not expecting to be paying that huge amount for direct debit

I wish these thrives should be behind the bars. I paid £740 on 7th June and have to cancel on 28th July. Even though their customer service said I have to pay for the days used and less £60 they charged me much more than that. Even with 2 full months I should get over £557 refund. Can't say enough not to go with them.

Again got a same reply about cancellation fees. These robbers not understanding that they are failed to cover my new car so I am forced to cancel. Worst company ever

I am in the process of buying a new car. This company cannot cover it even though its a standard Kia car. So I have no other option but to cancel the policy. They are still shamelessly asking for £60 cancellation charges. You need to understand its your lacking that you can't insured a standard car and I am forced to cancel the policy and not cancelling on my wish. I wished I knew before about these robbers.

About month ago i got cracked on my windscreen. I claimed it i wrote many emails i didnt get reply any emails back. I sent email to "help @ ladybirdinsurance.co.uk" But nothing happened. im waiting still for my claim. Im paying my insurance every month what the point paying for. This is a very poor insurance company. I hope you can sort out this problem.

Have held car insurance policy for over 60 years and this company customer support is the worst I have ever come across. My policy due to expire tomorrow 17/07/2023. I have received over 12 reminders to view my renewal quote on their portal. This system does not work as it does recognise or open its portal to view quote when requested customer details is entered. After numerous attempts, managed to speak to a customer support team, who informed me a member of quote will call me. 2 weeks on still no contact. Have emailed the support team about problem faced over at least 6 emails and still no response. However keep getting reminder notification.
Have now changed insurance company. I hope the company senior management read this review and get their act together. My advise - keep well clear of this company.
