Bot protection is nonexistent. Get an alert to say something is back in stock, go to site and add it to basket, website starts crashing and giving errors, have to log in EVERY TIME as it logs you out... Se mere

I am so disgusted and can not believe that they can get away with this kind of Service what about the Consumer Rights Act 2015 you should be able under Law entitled to Return for a full refund if item is damaged.Seems that does not include J D Williams?

reasons and here is another. I have contacted you three times with a promise of a reply within 24hrs. Nothing. I ordered from you a bench and a bistro table and the matching chairs. Given a date and time for the bench to be delivered. Delivery driver arrived came to door went to van came back said he could not find our item. Eventually it turned up a few days later damaged and scuffed paint. Then the table and chairs where booked for delivery different company phone call on morning of delivery sorry they couldn't find them? Now they are ready for delivery on Friday this week a week later. I have paid £10 for one large item delivery and £3.99 for the other item. So I have paid £13.99 for the items to be lost damaged, cancelled and a rearranged delivery. This is just not good enough and all so have had NO replies to my messages.

Customer service in need of improvement
Customer service not organised, helpful or even responsive. I placed a high value furniture order which arrived damaged and this was confirmed by myself and the courier via images and no resolution has been offered.
*UPDATE*
Resolution given after some time. Thankful for this but still not a great overall experience. Hopefully it was just a one off! Customer service and packaging needs more care.

This is one of the worst companies I have had the displeasure of dealing with. I returned 2 x items in one bag (as requested) used their returns label and got a proof of posting over the counter at my local Royal Mail branch, as requested. BUT I have not received my refund. Contacted this company via Facebook Messenger and waited more than 2 DAYS for them to reply to me. I was asked the same questions over and over again, verify this, that and the other. I complied with all their requests ... they have never got back to me!! So, then contacted JD Williams via their 'Live Chat' the customer service operator went through all the same questions (again answered fully by me) and finally he said I would receive my refund in 24 hours ....... Yep you've guessed it, I still haven't had my refund and I have now waited 10 days!!! Dishonest, badly run company! DO NOT USE THESE DECEITFUL COWBOYS!!!

I ordered a storage box which arrived incomplete. I rang them to try and resolve the issue. (Had to call several times). Eventually I was told I had to send it back. They arranged collection which never happened several times leaving me waiting in for a collection which never happened. The issue is still not sorted out and I’ve been trying to resolve the issue for two weeks now. In the meantime they still have my money for a faulty item. Even when I do send it back they tell me it will take nearly three weeks for my money to go back into my bank account. At this point I’m not sure I will ever get my money back.

The interest rate charged on my account since the company took over from marrissota is unbelievable on such a tiny amount.
£1 came of item and the other £4 was being taken in interest .I ended up owning more than I spent without a word from them.
I am Finished with them!
My advice only order small items if you really need the company.
My advice if you can't wait weeks to get replies to emails, or large items picked up and credited back to your account so that you have the funds to order a replacement would be to use JD Williams for small purchases. The reason is because I swear the customer service is AI with the questions they ask, such as who are you when you have already contacted them 5 times on the same email chain. Getting a mattress collected is almost impossible even though It's within 30 days, I actually just threw it away in the end and contacted the Ombudsman. Funny how then I got the refund within 2 days, but still decided just not to use them again, and be careful of fees that they add to your account, they expect you to keep paying for items that should be collected even though they act deaf dumb and blind as to who you are when you email them.

I was paying them what I could afford they seemed to be happy with the payment arrangement . Then out if the blue I can't access my account to make payments direct to them anymore. No warning call or letter they knew my situation . I googled it seems they may have sold my debt to debt collection agency. So wrong as I was paying them had an arrangement they just couldn't wait or be bothered to call me to ask if I was now in a situation to pay more . My mental health is not good and they knew this . I doubt if they have sold on my debt it was for a lot less that what I owed them. The last payment I made in March tried to pay in April account closed. They was happy to take my payment in March . I don't need or want the stress of debt collectors my anxiety is bad enough as it is . Avoid
