Finally received both parcels after 2 weeks of emailing.
Products them self's are gorgeous and over moon with them but customers services definitely needs little work never felt more frustrated as I have past 2 weeks trying to sort out same order when I gave them order number over and over, at the moment for me this as made me very wary to order again but products them self's are absolutely gorgeous
Amending to 3 stars from one star won't be ordering again unfortunately which is an absolute shame as I was excited for these :(

I purchased a candle on the 27th April for a friends birthday on the 9th of May, today. I selected & paid for the postage option that stated the candle would arrive within 2-4 working days. It's been nearly 2 weeks and my candle has not even been dispatched yet! I contacted the company on the 6th who told me they had some delays so the candle has not been posted out yet. They did not inform me of any delays until I contacted them. I explained I needed it for a birthday on the 9th and they ignored my further email & did not respond. It's still not been posted out and it's now the 9th, the day of my friends birthday. There was no communication from this company about delays, not even a courtesy email explaining the candle I'd picked had production delays. If they had informed me about the delay I could have purchased a different candle or purchased something from elsewhere, now it's too late. I purchased the item in good faith in plenty of time for when I needed it and now have no gift for my friends birthday. I won't be purchasing again and I would not recommended this company to anyone, I've been completely let down and the customer service is appalling. I've had no response to further emails, got no candle and no present for my friend. If you are buying from here and need the order for a specific date I suggest you buy from elsewhere or risk being let down as well.

Update to my review 23/05/24

This company has just lied in their response to make it look to everyone reading that they replied to messages promptly and that the candle arrived for when I needed it. This is completely untrue and the company is being dishonest in their reply. The candle did not arrive for when I required it, it arrived extremely late. I ordered on the 27th April!, It finally arrived on Friday the 10th May, The day after I left my review. My friend’s birthday was the 9th, it did not arrive on time.

If the company is prone to having delays with ingredients that could be understandable, but it’s the lack of communication that is the issue. If you knew as a business that you had delays why not have the decency to let your paying customers know this? If imperial candles had informed me of the issues and delay that’s one thing, but they didn’t. There was no communication from them at all, the order just didn’t arrive after nearly 2 weeks, so I, the customer, had to chase it up.

They did give me a discount code on the 6th May, but why would I buy another candle when the first one hadn't arrived and my experience was so poor

Second Update to my review 28/05/24

The only confusion here seems to be Imperial candles understanding of the situation. I am completely lost for words as this companies repeated dishonest responses to my honest review.
How many times do I have to say, the candle did NOT arrive on the date required so I’m not sure why imperial candles keeps saying it did and that they are pleased it arrived on time for me, because it didn’t. As stated numerous times previously, both in my review and in my emails to this company (They can check my “email thread” again) I required this candle for a birthday gift on Thursday the 9th May, That’s the 9th, not 10th, the 9th! And that’s what I told imperial candles in my email when I chased the order up 2 weeks after I’d placed it.
It arrived, as Imperial candles keep stating on the Friday the 10th May, the day AFTER I needed it. Not sure why imperial candles don’t seem to understand this and are happy for me.
But I gave the candle plenty of time to arrive given that I placed the order on the 27th April and it did NOT arrive on the required date, no matter how many times Imperial Candles say it did

Always buy these for the wife, she absolutely loves the smell of the whipped soaps, and every item of jewellery has always been beautiful.
She wears them with pride, but is quickly running out of fingers and ear holes 😅

I've has 3 candles and 2 whipped soaps. They smell amazing and last a long time. The whipped soaps smell lasts a and feels good on my skin. My jewellery was very pretty, £12, £20 and £60 value. My favourite being a cherry blossom branch. I'd recommend waiting untill they have sales because they are pricy and order long in advance for holidays.

The candle smelt vile, artificial weird smell. Jewellry was like something out of a cheap xmas cracker. Only wish id checked reviews before buying.

Didnt have a jewel in the advent calender, took me a good two months to get through them all as the scents did last quite sometime but when I discovered there was no jewel as per their sales information I complained.
Apparently they are refusing to do anything to help as I haven't kept the original box from christmas. Sorry but why would I keep the waste products? I didn't know I would have had to keep the packaging incase their incompetence became an issue. Ridiculous, shocking service, wouldn't recommend them purely based on that. A product isn't worth anything if you don't care about your consumers!

I bought winter wonderland for Christmas & was very disappointed in the smell, smelt almost like Beer, I then had the cheapest costume jewelry I've seen and was so disappointed. I thought I'd try my leg a second time & got Wish upon a star, the smell isn't great but its better then the previous, the tin foil is on show so won't need long until I reveal the ring but not holding my breath. Not worth the price at all.

I had been given 2 whipped soaps as presents and they smelt lovely. I had fizzy watermelon and pineapple . I had a pair of earrings very pretty (but one hanging post was bent/ damaged) and a gorgeous ring
I had to contact customer services who sent out a replacement after a few delivery issues and Emily kindly resolved and now have a very pretty pair post stud earrings as promised . The jewellery has been exciting to reveal and the quality nice , real silver not plated.
I then placed my own order for 3 more whipped soaps and the winter fairy smells like lush snow fairy but cheaper . So very happy . And the colours are rich and creamy.
My only gripe is I wish I could get some free delivery or discounts to use in sales etc 😁 so I can order more, to justify to my husband why I have started a little collection of these handmade discoveries !

My son is 15 and has learning disabilities and loves the bath bomb and thay made him smell so nice

I Love these candles, they’re not overpowering like most candles but have a lovely gentle release. Add to that the fact that they have a jewel inside well, who wouldn’t buy them. I certainly will keep on buying them.

I got this as a gift but the candle keeps going out after about ten minutes. When it is lit, it only gives a glow rather than a flame. I have tried tipping out melted wax to give my a chance to blame, but it did not work. The jewel was nice, the smell was nice, but as a candle, it was poor, given the price.

Don't waste your money. I've brought 3 candles and the jewellery inside was something out of a cracker. They also know what jewellery is inside their items, so it's not random. I think if you buy lots of candles then you may receive something of value. They are messy and the labels come off after a while. Buy yourself something nice instead of a ridiculously expensive low quality candle.

Imperial candles are beautiful. I received one as a gift, and I was so impressed, I ordered myself one. Unfortunately I needed to contact customer services, and they were brilliant. I would highly recommend both the service and items.

Very good quality candles and smells amazing very strong and long lasting I also purchased the whipped soap and that smells gorgeous too the jewel from the candle is very pretty well worth purchasing will be purchasing alot more I havent got the jewel from the whipped soap yet but i can't wait too thanks imperial candles

Great service. Original candles were delivered to wrong address but imperial candles sent some out and they’re lovely! Can’t wait to see what’s inside!

the actual scents from the candles fill the room with a beautiful aroma,the jewels are a bonus and the majority of jewels are pretty.

Please do not be fooled by this company's photographs of their jewellery or claims the jewellery is worth £20+
I ordered a bath bomb for my daughter as a surprise to cheer her up after a recent bad time. I did think the postage was a bit high for a very basic service but she loves blingy rings and the photos looked good.
She was so chuffed and sent me a video of the bath filling and said it smelled lovely. The next day I thought it was strange she hadn't sent me a photo of the ring and I messaged her to ask if she liked it. She didnt complain as it had been a gift but sent me a photo saying ''it's nice'.

The ring is NOTHING like any on the advert. It is very basic and very cheap looking. I have looked through the site and can't find any advertised that even look similar. I feel this is misrepresentation as you don't know what you are getting but expect something similar!

I voiced my concern to their 'customer services' but was sent with a brief email back and a thanks for my 'feedback. I wrote back saying it wasn't feedback it was a complaint and basically they just played down the fact it was so much plainer than the advertised ones and that it was a 'get what you're given' kind of set up. No refunds or returns.

I couldn't find my order on their system and the only evidence of buying was PAYPAL and the delivery email so I have no reference number but I have no doubt that when they come on here to defend themselves they will say I am the only one disappointed or words to that effect.

I don't recommend this company. It should show the variety of jewellery it is selling and not just the prettier ones! These aren't £1 lucky bags! After postage they are quite expensive.

I usually have a really good experience with this company and have had no issue before. However, after making an order recently I had to make this review.
I made the order of 2 sets which contained a candle each, a whipped soap and a wax melt melt. So that was quite an amount of money to not hear anything about. After 6 days I hadn't heard anything at all about the despatch or a delivery date and tracking.
I emailed them and the usual spiel came back, automated as it would take a further 72 hours for them to get back to me. Before I knew it, my order was on its way.
Then....melting the candle was fine untill it go to the foil packet - it was not wrapped properly in EITHER candle - the other being a gift to a friend. My bag was melted by the wax where the foil was all open and the hot wax had got into the bag. My friend had the same issue 😔 she had to cut the bag open in 3 places to get her necklace out and my necklace had wax on it where there was a hole in the bag!

I know it's a small company and can get busy at times but I feel now the candles I ordered were very rushed to be made as I had emailed to remind them of the order and despatch.

Very disappointing.

I've waited since 29th Dec for some whipped soaps never received them customer service take forever to get back to you, brought as a birthday gift for a friend but her birthday has been and gone now so waste of my time.

I ordered the whipped soap and they smelt horrendous! I honestly don’t know what they were meant to smell like but it was not what was described. The candles took almost three weeks to come due to ‘heavy load’ and when they came I emailed them on the same day asking for a return address. They told me I have to pay for the postage to return. I sent it back and paid with tracked postage and it’s been 10 days since it was delivered. I’ve sent emails to them before and after the delivery came and you just don’t get a response. I will not be ordering from them again.
