Most people expect London prices for food and drink but at Winter Wonderland this means £10 for a sausage in a bread roll or some potato slices on a stick - it's really a Wonderland for the traders. Where the rip off was most acute was the traditional style fairground games of 'hook a duck' or the target shooting game where there was simply no hiding the fact it was a borderline scam... The conversation with the 'hook a duck' operator was essentially, give me £7 and you can have this small toy or give me £14 and you can have the larger one - the act of hooking a duck was irrelevant. At the game where you had to knock a toy out of a square hole (which was the same size as the ball), one lady was elated to have actually achieved this, only to be told she had to do it twice to win.. and at the airgun target shooting game, I'm afraid £5 for three pellets is where I draw the line - these shameless rip offs really take the shine off the event and gets you into a money-watching mindset which you don't want to be in. Elsewhere we saw huge queues for rides and we waited for half an hour in the queue for the real ice slide. When it eventually became clear we'd have to wait another 20-30 minutes before actually getting on the ice slope, we ditched the idea - even though we'd paid £20 for the tickets we called it a day and left the queue and went back to the hotel - resigned to the fact that we'd already been beaten up on costs so another £20 wouldn't make a difference. The one memorable attraction was the ice sculptures which were excellent, although we won't be back.

Paid for ride tickets in advance, then went to the racing coaster only to be told the ride was not operational due to only one member of staff being present. Asked for a refund and was refused. Now having to go through paypal to get my money back. Rip off!

Could have given a zero star if that was an option- rude and inconsiderate staff; our 3 yr old wasnt keeping well and very unsettled during the day and we had to put her to sleep to give her a rest in the car eventually getting late to the park. Totally appreciate park policies to manage crowd are for everyone’s safety. But Literally begged the staff to let us in for only few minutes and not break a 3 yo’s heart as we traveled from far, but they treated us as if a 3 yo could make a massive difference to the insane crowd they already had. We were told they can’t escort us so cant even allow 10 min - sounded as if we were any threat! Unbelievable!!! By the way the terms and conditions do say that late entries are solely based on operator’s discretion - and i really doubt that discretion if one can’t differentiate between a group of adults wanting to go inside for some beer and a 3 yo wanting to see santa / ride from far for 5 min!!

Similar to the usual cheap, chaotic fun fair, I went to some years ago! Winter wonderland's marketing department, manages to somehow paint a different picture of the place, making it look glamorous but it's nothing but a cheap and badly run fun fair run by rude staff, oversold tickets...a total disappointment!!!

I'd give zero if I could. I understand that you can't bring alcohol in but no soft drinks in cans or children's drinks bottles? Total scam designed to ensure that you pay £3.50 for a fruitshoot. Absolute scam. The signs at the event say that Police are on the lookout for pickpockets. Look no further than the organisers.

Après avoir visionné la très attractive vidéo de présentation du parc, j'ai voulu faire une surprise à mes petits-enfants (18 et 14 ans). Places d'entrée réservées en ligne. L'idée était de prolonger un peu la féerie de Noël. Arrivés tôt par Eurostar
nous nous y sommes rendus à l'ouverture. Peu de monde encore à ce moment. Ambiance fête foraine morose. Pas de féerie de Noël en vue. Nous avons arpenté les allées pas assez stabilisées donc boueuses avec la pluie. Idem du côté des toilettes, certes nombreuses, mais pas aussi propres qu'annoncées. Les attractions sont chères pour ce que c'est avec un personnel d'accueil en dessous de tout. On a sûrement dû les sélectionner sur le critère de la mal-politesse. Les restaurants pratiquent des prix exorbitants pour une nourriture de très piètre qualité et peu copieuse.
En résumé, une seule étoile que je m'attribue à moi et non à Wonderland pour avoir supporté cette horreur pendant 2h. Croyez moi, ça ne vaut pas le déplacement. Dépensez votre argent ailleurs.

We went in at 6pm on Christmas Eve. The 1st hour was ok, little atmosphere but ok. The 2nd hour was mental. It got busier and busier to the point you could hardly move, the exits were all closed except for the one at the top so it was a 20 min walk to get out. There is no way of checking what time people leave so it was dangerously filling up. Never again, if there had have been an emergency I dread to think how you would get out, way way way too busy.

Poor experience dont go a con, take your money for service they can not provide, bought tickets for 5 rides from 7.15-9-15pm entry, questions to get in 40mins wait eventually got in and only got to go on 2 rides, Santa land office closed at 9pm could not get a wrist band, food places closed at 9.15 could not get food already paid for in advance and winter wonderland won’t refund my money for services not used absolutely a con. Paid for train journey there for two rides and no food, wasted 6 hours to get there for just two rides and everything closing early a mad rush to get people out crowds pushing and shoving each other, very badly organised. Not a great place was travelling with two kids and they didn’t enjoy it. I’ve contacted see tickets and winter wonderland who won’t acknowledge this and offer a refund. Late tickets shouldn’t be sold if they can not provide the services promised.

Extremely unhelpful and rude staff!

When going there yesterday, I experienced some difficulty when trying to go home. I asked staff, and was led to the Gold gate rather than the Green gate, EVEN WHEN SPECIFICALLY ASKING FOR THE GREEN GATE, which forced me to walk all around the area just to get back to the car.

Not only this, but when trying to get into an attraction we had booked online, me and my family were denied entry. We tried to get a refund but we were not allowed to. After asking other staff, they said we should have been able to go in!

Furthermore, we had ordered some food items online (5 veggie dogs from a store in Winter Wonderland called 'Jolly BBQ'). They were listed at £12 each. When we got there to collect the food, however, the price of each veggie dog was £9. We were robbed of £15.

This is a HORRENDOUS place which is just a straight up SCAM!
We are never coming here again and I advise you to do the same.

Poor organisation, sh1tty attitude by some of the staff, overpriced everything, zero customer service, overcooked food and to top it all off an inch of water on top of the iceskating, and the skates were useless, we can all Skate, but was virtually impossible in these

Some security guards are playing for time with customers queuing up as it happens literally today to my mom. One untrained and unprofessional staff member searching my mom's bag was totally ridiculous, racist, plain stupid and condescending where he told my mom she cant enter the hyde park facility. Then my mom went up to him and ramp up his incompetent head by engaging a very loud brawl with his supervisor who eventually understood our unfortunate situation regarding poor manners from that stupid a**hole bloke. Hyde Park Winter wonderland is terrible in mistreating people as they queue up to get thru the ridiculous amount of inspection at security checkpoint. It's not like people are going thru TSA check in American airports. This is Britain's theme park. Total disgrace and shame on some of these sh*try staff. This would be the first and last time in going to Hyde Park. Terrible and shameful!!!!!

It was not as expected, too much expensive, not a worth for money and rude staff at London Winter Wonderland.
I don't suggest this with anyone and never visit again.
Guys don't waste your money and effort.

We couldn't attend because my son got flu. There was no visible option to purchase insurance through SeeTickets when I bought the tickets. Usually it's clear to add this option. It turns out you'd have to do research and get this separately through a ticket plan which to me, seems purposeful to avoid people getting insurance easily. I received an automated response to say no refunds or exchanges. I then contacted winter wonderland customer service who said the same. I can live with losing out on the entry price, but we bought gaming coins worth £15 and they won't let us have these if we go another time and pay for entry. This seems incredibly unfair. All in all, it just seems to be money grabbing with no support or care for the customer. We've never been and it's unlikely we'll give them anymore money to visit in the future. Poor show winter wonderland. Merry Christmas!

This was our first and last year going as it certainly wasn’t what we had in mind. It was an overpriced funfair, with overpriced mediocre food and drink with no Christmas magic whatsoever!

It was very disappointing and we will not be recommending it to anyone else to waste their time and money. I would suggest visiting a REAL Christmas market or fair where they actually care about creating a magical and wholesome experience for everyone rather than creating an oversized rubbish funfair with adults having a daytime booze up and weed smoking affair.

We were hoping for elves walking around, maybe the odd Santa’s workshop and maybe some nice Christmas music playing but instead like I already mentioned it was just a regular funfair with no creativity at all. They obviously overcharged the vendors for a spot and the vendors passed on that price to visitors who was starving and thirsty because all our snacks and drinks got taken away by security at the gates making us all desperate enough to spend £9 on Churros.

The staff getting people in and out of the coasters on Wild Maus were so rude and disrespectful - they clearly don’t care about customers and are just trying to get as much money out of people as possible instead of making it an enjoyable experience.

Dont book online, we booked our rides online due to long queue times we couldn't even do half of what we booked for.

Bad customer service no one has a clue what the hell is going on.

Good day out but we wasted too much money, food was below average.

Got the train to Winter Wonderland with two just turned 13 year old children. It was a 300 mile journey. Overall, we spent £1000 on train tickets, entry tickets, food in the venue, drinks in the venue and rides and went home the same day so no hotels included in that cost. When we arrived, we had 6 cans of coke and some baguettes from Prett removed from my bag as we weren’t allowed to take it in. I explained that they were for the train journey and that we were going to spend a lot of money but nobody gave a crap, It’s a total disgrace. I hid my disappointment from the children as I didn’t want to ruin their day but inside I thought, what a gang of inconsiderate *****. How do they expect a family to travel so far without anything to eat on the train. They had their moneys worth out of us anyway so what is wrong with a few cans of coke and a couple sod sandwiches which I was keeping for the journey home as the kids wanted all the fun stuff anyway whilst we were there. They say rules are rules but I say FU Greedy TWTS Do one for next year; go F- yaselves!

Very long queue and what you got are rude staff and overpriced tickets.

I cannot put into words just how awful this event is. You expect these events to be expensive but this was a whole new level I cannot emphasize enough that this is nothing more than a huge con. That is not even the worst part. The staff are unimaginably rude I literally had a male member of staff square up to a young girl and threaten to hit her in front of children! It's disgusting this place is awful. DO NOT GO the bag searchers stop any external food but apparently it's okay for people to be smoking weed?!
