It's just a collection of dishonest people trying to rob you of your money hiding behind christmas. Everything is unreasonably priced and no one has any interest in you other than taking as much money as possible. At all levels from the very top with website and organisation to the the people on the floor. I can't understand how this has been allowed year on year. It's embarrassing

Although rides are good, the customer service from Hyde Park Winter Wonderland is poor. The promotion mentions free entry if you spend £25 on rides and when you go to customer service they wouldn't entertain you and send you back saying it has to be done on a single transaction. The website also does a good job of hiding this.

Just don’t waste your money!
We have pre-booked rides for all the family. When we arrived we’ve been sent from one gate to another by the staff as it was too crowded. Inside it was just impossible for us to find our way to the pre paid rides, our 5 years old said she doesn't want to go anymore so we left. I’ve contacted WW to refund me the rides that we didn’t use but they refused. Not so winter related , just expensive rides and super crowded. We won’t be going there ever.

We visit hyde park every year for the past 6 years I don't know if the overall management has changed.
SECURITY: The security at the gate was pleasant enough (people doing there jobs) we had drinks with us that we thought we had to ditch but they just made us drink it and we can keep it which was nice, but I noticed that there wasn't any security in the field this year which didn't make me feel safe when it was in very crowded hours I know its usually classed safe but walking around security was added bonus in my experience.
VODOO PIZZA PARTY: avoid this place if you have dietary preferences I called beforehand to see if they would cater my requirements as they said in there website and they were very confident as we went in out timeslot the place was very cold (colder then outside) tiny uncomfortable benches we had to sit. They didn't serve pizza for god knows how long and when they did it was only pepperoni and Queen veg? If its your turn to be served although I did say were waiting for margarita they kept putting pepperoni pizza under our noses the staff was rude when we complained and told us our time was up and basically get out! One waitress found this amusing and started laughing overall we spent £75 for 3 people 2 slice pizza and a drink each avoid this place its a scam.
GAMES: I'm actually very sure the games has funny thing going on them we couldn't win anything again!!
Yes rides are very expensive and it's too packed when we pay for these prices we do want good service hence why all the bad reviews we won't be returning next year also. The market stalls are very nice staff on them do give good discounts if you go after Christmas. It's a good atmosphere wish it was more Christmas's theme outside as well as the bars and cafes.

They make you pay for things in advance in order get free entrance then don't refund or give any support if the experience is bad. The 5 photo package for the ice sculpture event is literally 2 photos with various edited in backgrounds (similar to the background you can change on your MS TEAMS meetings). Beyond laughable really. Talking about paying for things in advance, if you bought the bratwurst with a beer, the system to redeem the voucher is the worst I have seen in my life LOL. You have to go a self service machine, select which if you want to redeem the bratwurst and/or the beer, then spend 30 minutes figuring out by yourself that although given the option to redeem the beer voucher, the food machine doesnt deal with beer order and that's another machine in another place LOL. Oh, one more thing, I had 3 carnival games tickets which lets me play max 2 games (inexpensive ones) not 3 like you would thing. Honestly, I couldnt make this stuff up even if I wanted to.

I had a terrible experience at Winter Wonderland in Reading. My daughter broke her ankle while ice skating, and the response from the staff was appalling. The marshal in the ice skating area merely asked her a few questions and then left her sitting on the ice, right in the middle of the skaters. It was incredibly dangerous, and the only reason she got off the ice was thanks to a kind lady who helped her.

To make matters worse, the SIA security personnel conducted a "medical check" and dismissed her injury as a minor issue, claiming she would be fine by the next day. She was in visible pain and unable to walk, yet they showed no real concern or effort to assist us apart from providing an ice pack and painkillers.

I had to carry her all the way to the car park, risking both of us falling. After leaving, I took her straight to the hospital, where we were told she had a serious fracture that requires surgery to fix.

It’s shocking and inhumane how some of the staff handled this situation. This kind of negligence is unacceptable, and I would not recommend this place to anyone.

We were looking forward to it. We were disappointed. It's just a big fair with ridiculous prices. Nothing wintery or Christmassy about it. Wouldn't go again

If I could give this rip off experience - 10 I would.

Absolutely awful with rude staff everywhere just trying to take as much money as possible off families that are there with hope of a festive experience.

Just felt like cattle being herded around a large overpriced funfair.

The staff on the large looping rollercoaster man handle you into the cars while literally shouting at people paying ridiculous amounts to be on the rides in the first place, absolutely disgusting behaviour and management.

We will never visit there again and I highly recommend taking your money elsewhere, whoever is in charge of this place should be ashamed at what it’s become.. an absolute joke.!!

This has now become a HUGE rip off.
Gate fee high enough. But then … poor crowd management at the gate.
Then costs. £13.60 for 3 instant coffees with cartoon milk.
£13 for a portion of chirros (not a big portion). £10 for a handfull of sweets. Crowding the “pod” on the big wheel.
Will advise all I know to go elsewhere.
Bad experience now… very different from a few years ago. Don’t waste your money… complete scam. No atmosphere or Christmas feel.. you’re just treated like a wallet on legs.

Rogue traders and zero assistance from the WW customer service. They fully agreed that the trader wasn’t right but just shrug their shoulders and couldn’t do anything about it. Promised to come back to me but never have. I also sent a complaint online a week ago - and again never heard back. I might (if lucky) hear back from the in the new year but it will be a little too late for any comfort

Well overrated. Let's start with the entry. The staff who checked out tickets - so rude with no customer service skills at all. He couldn't be bothered with saying, "Hello" or anything else, not even a fake smile. When asked a question, he just ignored us totally. Places like this one are tend to be pricey, but this one is a rip-off. £ 2.80 for a can of fizzy drink? Really? All the games are a scam. You can win something, but it would be cheaper just to purchase the prize. Some staff members working in the entertainment booths are more interested in having chats with each other, than in serving customers. Poor maps around the place. How would you know which direction to go, if none of the maps have the "Here you are" points marked on them? As a dog lover I must say- dogs, except the guide dogs, should not be allowed to be brought, as well as smoking should be prohibited or allowed only in designated areas. The Ice Rink not maintained properly. You could see some users acting silly and dangerously, kicking and pushing others, yet no staff that was present on the ice was acting properly. They were just standing there, having chats with their friends. For those who were not skating, just watching their children, the area for spectators is very limited and not big enough to accommodate them. For the price they charge you for using it, it should go all the way around the rink, so everyone can see properly. If you do not like places that are overcrowded, go during the day, because the afternoon is fully packed with people.

I am writing to express my concerns about the security system and admission process at Winter Wonderland London. My family's visit was significantly impacted by several issues that need immediate attention.

Firstly, the security system was inadequate and inconsistent. We were informed that cameras were not permitted on the funfair grounds, yet we observed multiple individuals using cameras without any consequences. This inconsistency and lack of proper enforcement were frustrating and misleading.

Secondly, the admission process was poorly managed. The staff were rude and unprofessional. Their behavior was unacceptable and ruined our mood, making what should have been a joyful experience into a distressing one.

Furthermore, the rules did not seem to apply equally to all visitors. While we were strictly instructed not to use cameras, others were allowed to do so freely. This unfair treatment added to our dissatisfaction.

I hope these issues can be addressed promptly to ensure a better experience for future visitors. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

BAD. we paid £30 for tickets and because we were 18 min late [bc we were wating in the line for soooo long]. we had to pay again for more money [£45] this ruined my beggining of this adventure. secondly the security are sooo rude and not a single smile. food overpriced [£25 for 2 hot dogs] and the rollercoasters were 15 pounds for 1 person! i thought there were gonna be more rides {big ones for 14+] but there were just 5. and 4 baby ones. security are very rude. hatefull. and none were even smiling. DISGUSTING!!!

The experience has gotten more awful every year. Everything costs an arm and a leg, and not their fault but the crowds are just too chaotic to bring a family

Terrible meal at cottage fondue. Vegetarian option consisted of 4 gherkins and some pickled onions. There were 3 of us but we were offered a single basket of a few potatoes. A salad with no dressing. Very disappointing. The other diners were eating a meat platter which was also very insufficient. Very disappointing

Absolute ripoff and poor quality. I aim to update this review through out the day. Our first experience for the day was the ice skating. The skates were absolutely terrible, very uncomfortable, you're not allowed with your backpack on the rink and you get charged £2 PER ITEM for the cloak room. Stay tuned for more..

Although the rides are great! The organisation and security this year was the worst ever seen. Not sure if it was anew security company but they were completely chaotic. No organisation. Rude. Misinformed and it took more than the allowed hour of your ticket time to get on in some queues on a gate whilst other queues at the same gate flew through. Really really poor organisation. Would never go again as a result

Absolute waste of money. Massively overpriced rides, dodgems were really slow and £5!! Staff looked miserable as sin too! The only thing I will say is that Santa was hilarious 🤣. Other than that don't waste your time or money

So expensive 😡😡 everything ,,tickets,, rip off people only for business family what two children need at least 200£,,also long queue for Santa 🧑‍🎄 I give up after 40 min wait ..very good Sadiq 👍
