Absolutely awful!!
So expensive for poor quality food and drink.
Rude staff,
rides and games are massively overpriced.

This is not a family event. Heavily commercialised attracting the wrong kind of people. London can and should do better than this.

The whole experience was quite poor, inauthentic and prices completely over the top. Loud music blaring non stop, most staff unfriendly, miserable and will treat you like nuisance. Extortionate prices for food, drinks and rides. £3-5 for a 30 second ride. £16 for a plain hot dog. Been a few times over the years, but will not go again.

The park was nice however customer supports is unfair was unable to refund a ticket due to an issue on their side.

I pre booked online a fast track ticket for the VR ride that opened at 17:00 cause at 18;00 I had an appointment in Covent Garden. When I arrived at 17:00 to the fast track queue the operator said there was a delay and I had to return at 18:00.

That wouldn't work for me as I had to leave thr park soon so I asked for a refund. They said they couldn't refund but could give me a free entry to any other ride. But not fast track. That was not reasonable for me as I didn't have time to wait in line.

So I left the park and asked for a refund online and this was the customer support response:

Our aim is for all of our customers to have the best possible experience when visiting us throughout the festive period and I am therefore disappointed to hear that this was not the case on the day of your visit.

We do apologise that you were unable to use your prebooked Dr Archibald tickets during your visit to the event. We do make customers aware of all the timings on our website prior to your visit, and that entry to all of our rides is at the discretion of the ride operators.

We have an experienced on-site customer service team who are there to assist guests with any issues which they may have during their visit. They can be found at either of the two customer service information points, in the north and south of the event. Were you able to speak to a member of this team during your visit, regarding this issue? They would have been able to ensure any appropriate action was taken.

We thank you for taking the time to reach out to us with this feedback. Unfortunately, as per the terms and conditions which were agreed to upon booking, all tickets are strictly non-refundable after the point of purchase and therefore we will be unable to assist you any further in this matter.

I sincerely don't understand why be so greedy. Refunding this is not only simple but also the fair thing to do. I spent almost 200 pounds on winter wonderland and had generally a good time but a small issue like this that costs just 30 pounds for them made me not want to ever come back. My advice to other people is to not pre book rides online. You can book all of them there anyways and you have to enter the line to buy tickets even if you bought online as that is where you redeem them.

I still hope someone reasonable from the event sees this review and helps me get the refund (happy to update the rating if that happens).

Bought five tickets for entrance and five ice skating tickets. Bought insurance. Spent over £100 of my earned money as a gift to my sister family. We were booked for 2pm entry and 3pm ice-skating. Arrived and queued at the blue gate. 2.30 came and went. We had travelled from Manchester and Devon for this. We got near the front the guy said tickets were being pushed back by an hour for validity. We got closer and the guy said we would not get to ice-skating. It was too busy. Total waste of time on out day trip to London and I cannot afford to buy another gift for my family. A rip off. Avoid.

Was there but it wasn't.
All staff was extremely rude and most couldn't even understand what you was asking for as they did not speak much English. The cues for drinks and food was terrible
We waited 15 minutes for a cheese toasted sandwich that costs £11.00
When we got it was just toast with light sprinkle of cheep tasteless cheese in it.

Didn't feel Christmasy at all

This would be great but its an absolute rip-off. It would be great if they weren't charging such extortionate amounts.
£10-12 per ride. £16 for 2 beers. £15 for a plain Hotdog and handful of chips. £9 for a cheesecake that was frozen £10 just to throw 3 balls at a hoop.

Don't really know where to even start, maybe if they didn't spend so much time searching kids there wouldn't be a backlog of about 4000 people all stuffed and crammed together like sheep for 2 hours trying to get in, it took that long that tickets that we had booked for to use inside we had missed our start times and were told we had missed the entry time. Back to stood in the que, we had our daughter with us who has type 1 diabetes and we had ran out of hypo treatment for her and our 1 year old grandson who needed changing, we were that deep in the que by this point you couldn't go forwards or backwards. By the time we actually got to the point of getting our tickets scanned it just went from bad to worse, to cut a longer story short my self was searched, this is OK, they then proceeded to search my daughters, 6, 11, 13 years old, this is when I couldn't hold my anger any longer and had to let my feelings known, they weren't bothered, it's disgusting the way everyone in that que was dealt with last night, I'm not even going to go into what it was like once we were actually in there, but, other people's reviews are correct, I'd ask for a refund but it'll probably fall on deaf ears, we as a family will not be returning here. EVER. Hope other people don't have the same experience that we did.

Extremely disappointing. We arrived perfectly on time for our timed entry, but the queue was 1–2 hours long. Staff said our tickets might expire before we could enter — and they couldn’t help. Meanwhile, others were let in from the side without ticket checks. We travelled from abroad specifically for this event and could not get in at all. Completely unacceptable logistics — would not recommend.

Bought online tickets for 8 persons for Friday evening 28 November. Tickets weren’t excepted at the entrance and the staff didn’t helped just said: buy new tickets ?????? It’s a big scam (traveled from the Netherlands for a few days in London)

Went there Monday 1st December approximately 3p.m as soon as we entered the park we saw Mister churros. We decided to buy family portion which was about £17 pounds. They charged extra for cinnamon and chocolate. They are the worst churros we ever had. They were extremely dry. We had to put it in the bin. Please avoid this, we got ripped off.

Yes winter wonderland is over priced for food and rides service is poor security don’t care it’s embarrassingly poor service from start to finish.

as there is nowhere to make a complaint inside winter wonderland I went to the ticket office where I was given a QR code to scan that had given me a link to lodge my complaint online which I’ve had a response from .
On 27/11/25 I have now received the refund of £12.00 you have to fight hard just to get that .
save your money don’t bother going it’s rip off as soon as you enter like £1 discount on some attractions for over 60s with ID .

Why would you pay to get into a not very glorified funfair?

I turned up with my family on Sat 15th Nov at around 18:00 and they closed 3 out of 4 entrances! Everybody forced into one pathway, it was a joke! Hundreds of people pushing and shoving, we couldn't get in, we got tired of waiting and we came by train from Northampton. I ask for a refund but that was denied in an email, they didn't even address the issues I complained about, so really bad customer service too!

The Christmas market has gone downhill big time only 2 stores sell Christmas items the rest are hats and clothing that you get down Oxford Street.
Cost £42.50 for 5 people to get into winter (not so) wonderland then £6 to £10 each person to go on a ride witch adds up fast and food price are a joke, then you got the games where the people change the rules as you play even when it's written on the board before you play.
It's just a fun fair now, nothing to do with Christmas when all there want is to take your present money 🤑.
I use to love the place years ago but now it's all about money and not experience

The worst customer service i have ever dealt with - all i wanted to do was change ticket date - 15 days of trying on a useless automated service with no sucess and no one to take a call -DONT BOOK UNLESS YOUR SURE OF INFORMATION refunds are impossible to get

My family wanted to book tickets from Germany but we cannot cause of "Unusual traffic detected". Our IP adress is blocked.

So can we ever visit Hyde Park Winter Wonderland?
