The patience and determination of my concierge

Tina was very friendly and accommodating, even letting me knowI may get two texts confirming my booking.

The room is very clean. They accommodate my dog. The staff are friendly and helpful. Even the person I talked to on the phone to makena reservation was pleasant. They have a nice continental breakfast. Plus the hotel is on the water where I can take my dog for a walk.

I realized after the second call that you and the first person I talked to scammed me. You posed as the hotel company and claimed to find a room w a wedding room block but this was a lie. You both overcharged me in two separate transactions and also charged me bogus cancellation fees. Someone associated w your company hacked a bride’s Zola account, removing the IHG phone number and adding your number. You never identified your company as a third party company on the phone. I called IHG afterwards and they found the wedding room block, reserved my room w the correct discounted rate w no upfront fees whatsoever. You misrepresented yourselves and I have now found multiple complaints about your company online for the same predatory behavior. I have reported you to the Better Business Bureau and expect a full refund/cancellation of all charges.

Quick, effecient and had a positive attitude and he put up with my impatience cuz I was in a hurry.

It was not an hotel it was a derelict site, I ask for a lift non, I ask far a bar and restaurant non, you had to call the owner for a code to get in no reception, it was a complete dump and I want my money back as I didn’t stay .

I truly appreciate the promptness with which you found a hotel close to the venue where we were attending our program. The convenient location made traveling much easier, and I am grateful for that effort.
Unfortunately, the condition of the hotel was very disappointing. The room had a strong cigarette smell, the bathroom ventilation carried smoke into the room, the air conditioning was poor, the carpet was dirty, and the bedsheets appeared stained and unclean. As a non-smoker who does not drink, staying in an environment filled with cigarette smoke was extremely uncomfortable. By the time we arrived, it was very late, and nearby hotels were fully booked, so we had no choice but to remain there for the night.
I would recommend that, in the future, you carefully verify the quality and cleanliness of hotels before recommending them to customers. It would also be helpful to ask guests whether they prefer a smoking or non-smoking property, or at least ensure that the hotel provides properly designated non-smoking rooms. Including this preference in your booking questionnaire would help travelers choose accommodations that best suit their needs.
I was also disappointed with the breakfast. Although breakfast was advertised as included, the selection was extremely limited. It consisted mainly of a muffin, and the juice machine was empty except for orange juice, despite displaying several other juice options. Many children were looking for the other beverages that were unavailable, making the breakfast experience fall well below expectations.
If the hotel improves its cleanliness, addresses the smoking issue, and offers a better breakfast, it could be a much more pleasant place to stay because the location itself was excellent.
