Order never arrived
We purchased Tom Dixon garden furniture from Holloways of Ludlow, only to discover after placing the order that the furniture was not actually in stock. After waiting six weeks with no meaningful progress or clear update, we eventually had no choice but to cancel the order.
The most frustrating part was the customer service. We repeatedly chased for updates but struggled to get any clear information about when the furniture would actually be available.
Ultimately, summer arrived and passed without the garden furniture we had ordered. We eventually managed to secure a full refund, but the overall experience was very poor and far below what we would expect.
A disappointing experience from start to finish.

I’m also sorry that our communication throughout the delay fell short. Having to repeatedly chase for meaningful updates, only to ultimately cancel the order after six weeks, is understandably frustrating and not the level of service we aim to provide.
We’re pleased that we were able to arrange a full refund, but I appreciate that this does not undo the inconvenience or disappointment caused. Your feedback regarding stock availability and communication has been taken on board and will be shared with the relevant teams.

I only bought some lampshades but I got chatting to the woman who was in charge - the woman was extremely helpful and patient- offered me some alternatives, explained the cost differences and the order time. I also asked about a desk and she explained again and sent me an e mail. Exceptional service.

Very slow delivery
I ordered an 'in stock' shelving that was supposed to dispatch same day according to their website, but 10 days had passed and no news of it. I had to follow up several times, and their customer service kept promising that it is about to be picked up by the courier .This went on for days. It was disappointing as I needed it quicker and lots of other shops had this item, so should have just ordered from anywhere else.

We visited the Holloways of Ludlow showroom shop, in Winchester and were blown away with pretty much most of the products on display. It is very rare that you find everything you like in one shop, the lighting, the furniture etc. We left the shop in the morning after seeing so much that we liked, and then went back in the afternoon to purchase new lighting and furniture. Even though we live an hour and half away, Ramona the Manager was so helpful and accommodating to all our needs. Even a few days later the communication has been excellent, she has been outstanding in her helpfulness. Thank you. We can't wait to receive our new furniture and lighting. We will definitely look again at the website in the future.

Beautiful lighting and great prices
Loved the wall lights I received, sadly the pendant lights, although beautiful themselves and vintage in style, were let down by the very modern ceiling roses attached. I just wish you could pick your style of ceiling rose on order, as I’ve now had to find replacements elsewhere.
Can’t fault the service, choice or price of items with this store though - very happy with these.

Sometimes just to browse. They have created a lovely in store environment. The product selection is fantastic as I love all HAY products I have recently ordered a HAY dog bed from the store and it was super quick and easy and I’ve been kept up to date with the order process the whole time and it’s felt like a personal shopping experience that you just don’t get in most stores.
