Ordered “next day delivery” 25k no grow bird seed. A week later called (luckily not on 0871 number at 41p a minute). Thy could not find order. After giving all payment details eventually found the order. Was told order would be sent by return.
No delivery - called them again - told could not find order but money refunded. At time of writing this no seed nor money.
No wonder reviews so poor on here.

I feel conned. Paid £9.99 for ONE suet block. You usually get ten for that price. I enquired if the price was correct and the answer was yes. I could return the suet block at my cost. I didn’t trust them to receive the package back

Lost my custom forever. Disgusted a large company can act like this.

My advice is to stay clear of all of the seed mixes. I've tried 'no waste' and 'songbird special mix' (or names to that effect), and the only things wild birds pick out are sunflower seeds and fat pellets. All the other grains are completely wasted. Note that I get up to 20 different bird species to my feeders from blue tits to wood pidgeons. The birds love 'straights' (sunflower seeds and peanuts), pellets and lard balls (homemade) and ignore everything else. I've tried all winter. I think this entire seed mix market is a con, bulked up by cheap stuff like maize. My neighbours experience the same. No matter how cold it gets, birds ignore these grains! And why there is maize at all, some still whole, in the songbird seed mix is beyond me.

I wish I didn't have to contact Happy Beaks via Trustpilot! I have spoken via phone to a nice lady however she wasn't able to answer my question as to why when I placed my order on the 8th Jan 2024 and that the peanuts I wanted were in stock and I assumed they would be delivered at least within 1 to 2 weeks. Ok I didn't read the small print where it said they would be sent out on the 22nd January! Why so long to send out when they are in stock? Also I only live one County away from them so not that far to be delivered. Their products are good quality and loved by the birds in our garden, shame I can't get things delivered quickly and note to self, Read the small print.
PS 23rd Jan 24. Just had a message from Happy Beaks that there is a further delay in deliver. They gave me a list of contacts, one being an email. Which you can't use. I am about to order some further items from them and hope I don't have to wait until 2025 for them to be delivered. Sorry couldn't resit putting that bit in but it is so annoying that there is delay after delay.

Great bird seed supplier.
Superb quality and speedy delivery of the sunflower hearts which we've used now for a few years with no real problems at all.
We buy in bulk (25 or now 28kg) which is a huge saving on buying from our local garden-centres and saves a lot of carrying of heavy packs.

I won't be buying from Happy Beaks again - They used to be great but this time my order hasn't arrived. My order was sent over a week ago, but tracking doesn't appear to work, and my enquiries to happy beaks by email are going unanswered. Maybe they should change their delivery company, and try answering emails.
Update - thank you for your response to my public complaint - I have already emailed you at that address - twice - and not received a reply. I included order ref in both emails. I wonder why this time would be any different? Do you only answer emails AFTER negative trustpilot reviews - shape up Happy Beaks, you will lose customers in droves.

I contacted Garden Gear to enquire if I could buy a replacement cover for a portable 8x8ft storage "shed" and spoke with a gentleman who said he'd investigate and let me know. Which he duly did after searching within the group of companies for the part I needed. I received a call back the next day, with a very reasonable price, and extremely polite and prompt service. Hugely impressed with Garden Gear/Suttons/Thompson-Morgan - thank you

Thank you Cristina, I have just had a reply from Happy Beaks, the missing part of my order is on it's way to me now. It says 12 to 24 hours. Hopefully my delivery details have been permanently updated so that my orders actually get to me.

Your products are superb quality so it's such a shame your deliveries are hit and miss.

I'm very happy with Dobies. My original order wasn't able to be fulfilled and Dobies upgraded my order to a much larger plant.

I’ve used Happy Beaks for several years but their customer service has really declined. Despite being in stock, my order confirmation email said my order wouldn’t be dispatched for 14 days! Dispatch and delivery used to be quick but not anymore. No response to emails either. I will be changing suppliers from now on.
UPDATE: despite reply below from Happy Beaks asking me to contact customer service I have not had response to messages sent earlier in the week.

Their customer service is magnificent, it's so important to know they care for there customers, can't fault them.

I found this site, they looked good, i placed an order and it seemed fine, 3 weeks later still not product despite 24 hour shipping. no contact at all.

i contacted them and about a week later i got an email saying the order didnt go through but the payment did. it stated they couldnt fulfill the order and i had to give details of payment to get a refund which may take another week! Upon trying to reply to the email address they give the reply just bounces back! so you cannot contact them! if there was a glitch was did they make no attempt at contact. terrible! we will see if i get anywhere or if i have to go through the banks to get my money back!

In addition happy beaks have replied to this review saying i contacted without order number or email, my email has been on every communication as has my order number, order date and delivery name!

Also there email address does not work, it returns every mail sent to it! I contacted them again via there website contact form as its the only thing that works. And this time im told the order did go through but wont be posted until the end of the week. Did it go through or didnt it? Why as it was on 24 hour shipping is it taking over a month?!!! I have no idea if this is a con or just incredibly dissorganised. But the order is excessively late, the communication with them very difficult and they come out with something different every time.

Iv had enough and insisted on a refund twice now, we will see what happens

I have purchased no mess bird seed many times (approx. 75kg) and it has been great with none of the seed germinating, however the last batch of 25kg is germinating and making a complete mess in the garden, I sent an email to customer services and they requested photos, which I provided, from there on I have emailed 3 times and not even received a reply.
customer service is abysmal and needless to say I will not be using Happy beaks for any further bird food purchases.

I ordered some no-grow birdseed on 31st May as of 15th June I still haven't received it although I received email that it was on its way via Yodel. Needless to say the beaks in my garden are far from happy. Don't order if you want quick delivery - gardenwildlife direct offer next day shipment at no extra shipping cost

Thoumpson morgan petunias are excellent shy splash desighn ones after the cold spell we had had to have replacements but just so many colours even my dianthus from postiplugs coming now i jope they have dianths next year to to all st t &m thank u m couzens

Won't be using this company again. They promote speedy delivery giving you the impression you will get the item quickly - you don't my latest order I have had to wait over a week for it to even be despatched even though it was in stock and I am still waiting. I've given them more than one opportunity to prove they can get things right. Customer service very poor indeed. They cannot answer my question as to how if you order before 1pm you get next day delivery (according to them) but if you order after 1pm like me you are still waiting over a week later for your item to be despatched. Won't be using again.

I have used this company a few times now giving them the benefit of the doubt.
But there are too many mistakes and "next day" delivery means sometme in the following week.
Now you can't even get in touch without ringing their expensive customer services number.
There are far better bird food companies out there so please save yourself the time and effort, don't use these.

Excellent service, the garden, container and basket plants arrived in perfect condition. Information about the order kept me updated on the orders progress and I tracked the order with the courier. Excellent in all areas. I couldn’t be happier, everything is planted up and I’ve got my fingers crossed for a beautiful display. Thanks again.

T & M are the best providers of all things garden related whether that is bulbs, flowers, trees, bushes, etc., etc. their prices are always competitive and the goods are excellent and comprehensive gardening advice comes with each purchase but more important their customer service is second to none. On the very rare occasions I’ve had cause for complaint about the condition Of a consignment it’s nearly always down to the courier firm they’ve used. There’s never any quibbles though as they replace the items f.o.c and say try the original purchase if you’ve got room as you never know they may well survive. On the odd occasion that’s Happened to me sometimes they have and it’s an added bonus!
