subscription scam
Don’t set up a subscription with this company and they hide their terms and conditions
I cancelled my subscription with them as I no longer needed the feed yet they still took payment
I emailed them to tell them to refund me and cancel the order but they made sure not to reply to the email until the parcel had been packed and dispatched then replied to the email saying you need to give 3 full days notice to cancel a subscription or they will still process it
This is not legal and you have to clearly display your terms and conditions
I’ve not started a charge back with my bank to recover the stolen funds
I was considering going back to them once I’d got new pets but after this I will be finding another provider for live feed

You have been dealing with us on subscription orders for many many weeks / months and with successful deliveries.
The terms and conditions are easy to find, follow and accept.
The subscriptions have to be set up by the buyer and not us.
This involves committing to an automatically set up bank payment each week.
From this we ensure that all subscribed orders are fulfilled as a priority and you also receive a discount for the subscription and a further loyalty bonus for each order. You have received lots of discounts.
You cancelled your subscription at 11.31pm (Unfortunately we do not work a night shift). This cancellation was done 1 minute after your order at 11.30pm. Your order will have been already allocated prior to this so you will get priority delivery.
Unfortunately we do not know what we have done to upset you in such a way as you suggest we have "Stolen from you", whilst we do not hold any payment card details for anybody and cannot ourselves take payment, this can only be done with your authorisation.
The subscription service is optional and definitely not "a scam". You yourself have used this service for over 20 weekly order successfully.
We are sorry to lose you as a customer, but really do not appreciate your attitude calling us basically thieves etc etc.
We are now forced to take this further along with screen shots etc and you will no doubt be hearing from us or our representatives when we have sought further legal advice.

90%of the live daphnia were in fact…
90%of the live daphnia were in fact dead,when immediately opened when delivered.The fact that it cost the best part of £16 for 6 tubes of dead daphnia is not acceptable.

Great experience. Bought culture worms which were healthy and great starter. Also bought a cheap mesh breeding box which was fantastic for the little price I paid.

Great fast delivery
Great fast delivery, packaged with care. Unfortunately many of the bloodworms didn't make it, but in all fairness is has been incredibly hot. I managed to keep a fair amount alive enough for some feeds. Will use again.

Almost all of the daphnia arrived dead, no response from company
Almost all of the daphnia arrived dead. I had timed the delivery for the cooler period between heatwaves, but only a dozen or so arrived alive (rather than the hundreds I was expecting). I messaged their customer service twice, waiting a week in between, but didn't receive any response except for the automated email saying they would respond in 48 hours. This was a much worse experience than previously, I don't know if this company has changed hands or something, but I'll probably not be ordering from here again.

Excellent service from Aquamania. My order arrived promptly, and the Daphnia were by far the biggest, healthiest and most active I've ever purchased online.
The prices were very competitive, so I ordered nine bags to make the most of the postage. I'm hoping to establish my own live Daphnia colony in a separate tub.
Great quality, excellent value and a smooth buying experience. I would highly recommend Aquamania and will definitely be ordering from them again.

'live' daphnia was not alive
Really disappointing. I paid a substantial amount of money for a bulk order of live food to establish my own colonies. However, the daphnia arrived almost entirely dead (I estimate only around 5% of the daphnia arrived alive). Dead daphnia are no use to me. I already have a freezer drawer full of frozen daphnia. I ordered what was advertised as live daphnia because I specifically wanted live healthy daphnia for a breeding population and to feed creatures that will not eat frozen. I raised this with customer service and they said there is nothing they will do as I did not let them know within 24 hours (I was not aware this is their policy). I contacted them only a couple of days after the product arrived and I asked for them to send me it again but this time ensuring it is alive. I have animals that I need to eat live food and each day they are without food is detrimental to their condition. Aquamania just ignored me and did not send a replacement so I wasted time waiting for their response as well as money buying a product that was not as advertised.
I hate leaving negative reviews but this was just incredibly disappointing and frustrating. Don't buy.

Hi, Thank you for your review. Your order was sent with 24 hour shipping and arrived in less than 24 hours - sent with ice packs to help them keep cool and from a delivery that arrived to us from supplier the same day. We heard from your about poor quality 4 days after they arrived to you, with 1 picture of a bag of daphnia (the order was for 3x daphnia, 2x bloodworms and 1x tubifex).
As is explained in the t&cs on our website (which you accepted prior to placing your order), we ask for 24 hours notice if there are any issues as this is a reasonable time to inspect the live foods and get into contact with us if there are any issues. We also recommend you feed live foods as soon as possible to ensure they are as fresh as possible. If not, that they are stored in suitable conditions for that species (each species detailed on our site).
In addition to this, the last email we have from you is us asking when you received them and still haven't had a reply.

Zero communication, late delivery and animals DOA
Absolutely no communication about my order and no responses to my email regarding what was happening with my order. It took ten days for my order to finally arrive and when it dead, most of what I had ordered was dead upon arrival. I was also short changed on the advertise quantities on one of my orders.
Very disappointing!
