They dont really have a lifetime warranty. If you buy a part and it goes bad they ask you to purchase a new one, sendback the old for your warranty. I payed more for the new one. They said I receive 250 back. I did not. Total ripoff.

Pay extra $50 for expedited shipping and package “picked up late” they said it shipped but they didn’t give to UPS the next day. This is insanity if they are even that busy hire more help instead of being ok with customers paying for expedited shipping, counting printing a label as friggin shipping, then getting to it at their leisure. Will never use them again might as well pay dealership prices in the future. ECS will never get mine or anyone I know business ever again. I am waiting on the day FCP Euro opens in Jax they’ll leave these people in the dust.

They deliver my package more than 3 months

ECS tuning has outsourced all returns and rebates after a waiting period! Instead of returning funds, a third party debit card is sent to customers, who must apply to get their own money returned. My order was never delivered, and ECS did not offer to replace the items, reorder, or assist with the return. The Spirit Airlines of online auto part sales.

Placed order for a cabin air filter and clutch stop (a bolt). Order placed on July 31st, order "shipped" july 31st. Its now the 10th, the estimated delivery date was the 7th and no shipping company even has their hands on the package, just a label created. Tried to reach out to support, the first guy got in the chat said he would "check on it" then left. Still trying to get a hold of anyone. I had issues with their shipping in the past but was trying to give them a 2nd chance, but here we are again. Avoid at all costs.

I contacted the chat in their product which seemed like it was mislabled as having the lifetime guarantee. I was connected with Nikko Cruz who said it seemed like a mistake and without anything else, he forced his commission info in my browser and the site reloaded very slowly now saying "?utm_source=ncruz&utm_medium=email&utm_content=link2cart&salesrep=ncruz" in the URL. The chat broke no matter how many time I refreshed the page, I can only send this now in a private browser. He didn't even help me or ask if I had any other questions, or offer a courteousy for reporting the issue. Just an "I guess" and immediately putting that salesrep token in without any prompt and breaking the site. It sucks the product I want is only offered there, if I'm forced to give them my money I at least want it noted how disregarding they are in customer service.

Also, their lifetime replacement guarantee" needs to be renamed. There's an intentional lack of information as to what their points redeem for, and "replacement" should mean it's something similar to FCP Euro where it

I absolutely appreciate ECS Tuning for “one stop shopping” to keep my Volkswagen on the road. Their parts availability is great and their customer service and support are always very good. I’ve been dealing with these fellows for more than a decade and I’ve never been disappointed. Of course there have been a few issues ….. back ordered parts and the occasional warranty claim …. but ECS stepped right up and made it good. My warranty parts were shipped right out, and they communicated quickly, often offering a choice of work arounds in the case of a back order. Absolutely would recommend!!

First off the part I got was ckubsport muffler for VW GTI. The only places selling where like shopdap. With like 12 week lead time and only local pickup NC . There was an eBay seller from Lithuania. But they wanted $890 and shipping. And I was going to pay God knows how much tariffs. I worked with Jude. He got me the splitter to my door like 5 days for like $166 he had to order direct from Germany the muffler $560 with tax $604. NOw they did originally estimate 7/1 ship date that was bumped to 7/14 got today from them east to west. So 3 weeks late on a part from Germany. When I see many reports of 4 or 5 month to get this. I'll say is great. I was told about the delay. No run around always responded within 24 hours. Would I buy from them again 100% . Thanks Jude.

Very bad company.
Before I placed the order I asked if it would arrive by a certain date, so they said.
I placed the order and waited for another 5 days.
And suddenly, the day before the deadline, they announced that there was no stock and no delivery was expected.
I asked for a discount on another product that would be more expensive
What I ordered costs $135 and what I asked for costs $220
That's very expensive for me
I already have something of better quality available
They have something on the site that is over $250 to get a $25 discount
That's the only thing I got from the site. I didn't need the service at all
And I added 4 plugs to my order
In short, I didn't get a discount, not even a small one from the service department and they delayed my order until the last minute and in the end they said there was no stock and that it was still written on the site!
And they also said that I didn't pay them
The money was taken out of my bank account and PayPal!
Finally I canceled the order
Horrifying service I didn't know them and I actually wanted a friend in the area to bring it to me in Israel Everything was online
It is not recommended to stay away from them at all I wouldn't be surprised if the products are not original
Do yourself a favor and don't go anywhere near them!

The worst. Kept shifting ship date to "next business day." Went on for two weeks. Blamed "the vendor." I get it, but I didn't pay "the vendor," I paid you. That's your problem to fix, not blame the vendor.

THINKING ECS TUNING? Buyer Beware, Highly Unreliable Sellers!!! I Own An Audi Q5, I purchased Front and Rear Rotors and Brake Pads among other things from ECS Tuning just for starters. When purchasing from them I was told that this was a Free Lifetime Replacement…This has not been the case in any way shape or form, I spoke with almost every salesperson including Audrey who got all offended to no avail and even the higher ups in command namely Melissa another girl who didn’t help and also got offended. What gives? I just wanted to replace what I originally Purchased Brembo Drilled Rotors and Ceramic brake pads, Lifetime free replacement after repurchasing and then we are supposed to get credited towards any future purchase. Never happened, I spent one month on the phone trying to purchase the replacement parts and they just kept dismissing and refusing but rather we just kept going back and forth again to no avai, the excuse every time was the replacement they are no longer in stock nor available and they wouldn’t allow me to purchase anything comparable within the same brand name but because it had a KT on the end which stood for kit, same exact part numbers, still they refused I wasn’t able to purchase or get on the phone with anyone, they are completely ignoring my request and are not honoring my purchase because its been 2 1/2 years from the original purchase and lasted that long. That shouldn’t have mattered and they are blaming me, Whatever happened to the lifetime replacements? not sure how that works since these are lifetime replacements…No worries we are heading to court since they want to be funny and abusive…Please guys boycott them, Do yourself a favor, they are overpriced because of the lifetime replacements, it is a scam, it is how they lure you in, Just go to other sources like I have, FCP Euro, Uro Tuning just too name a few…stay away from the ECS,,,you will be happy in the long run, your BMW/Audi Enthusiast and friend

This place is shady

Super slow shipping. Item listed as in stock but didn't receive until 11 days later. Contacted customer service, their response was I should've paid fpr faster shipping This company is a joke, will never buy from them again.

Do Not buy Bavarian Autosport Valvetronic Actuator. That part is pure garbage. It came in a cheap cardbox box and a plastic bag. Not a static protective bag. That should have been a red flag to me. I spent a lot of money getting this part installed, and it failed in less than 5 miles. When I opened a claim, ECS tuning wants me to buy the same rubbish part first. Then, I have to send the part back. They will decide if I get your money back or not. What kind non-sense is that? No wonder they stopped people from reviewing their products. I bought a Pierburg actuator and had it installed. My car is working like new. They will lose way more money, than the cost of garbage they sold me. Shop somewhere else. FCP Euro, Bimmer World, URO or AutohausAZ to name a few.

I've been an ECS customer for over a decade and this company is not what it used to be. Prices are higher than buying at the dealership for OEM parts and the quality of the non-OEM parts is Chinese garbage. I recently purchased a bumper cover that was advertised as same quality as OEM. When I took it to the shop, the shop advised me that it was of very poor quality, nowhere near OEM-level quality. However they did a pre-fitment and the part fit well. After spending $1K on painting it and installing it, once I parked it in the sun, the material expanded so much that if left 1/4 inch gap between the bumper and the quarter panel... I reached out to ECS and their position is that this is normal behavior (!). Once I convinced them that it's outrageous to say that this is normal, they said that they would not accept the return because the product has been "altered". I asked to speak with a customer service supervisor and been told that "she's on vacation". Truly INCREDIBLE lack of care and customer service. These people are THIEVES!! I will NEVER again buy anything from ECS Tuning or Turner Motorsports (they are both owned by the same private equity group that cares about nothing other than profits). I would give these thieves MINUS 5 stars if it were possible.

I had a horrible experience with valve cover gasket I ordered from ECS. Valve cover i received was defective and leaking. I contacted ECS for a replacement. They asked me for pictures, which I sent over. 6 or 7 emails later, they sent me an email stating the part I received was the right fit. I explained that the part was the right part but was leaking. Then they told me that I need to send the gasket back to the for assessment. They couldn't give me a time frame on how long that would take.
So now I spent money on the install of a defective part that i now have get removed again and have to wait for someone to assess the part while my car is in pieces. The Lifetime Replacement warranty is BS. They will make you go through hoops for defective parts.
At the end of all this, i had buy the part again from FCP Euro. Thank you FCP for your Support!

Needed some parts for a Mini i am working on so I consulted with their chat people with the vehicle VIN and info and was told to order a certain Vanos sprocket so I did. It arrives and there was fitment issues with the central valve so again I consulted them and was asked to send all info in an email to their "mini tech" which i did. They reply back telling me to order a certain central valve so I ordered it and waited. It arrives and it its the vanos sprocket, it is too small to mount to the camshaft. Long story short BOTH items they instructed me to buy were incorrect and I had to arrange returns and not only did I have to pay for return shipping I was also charged a restock fee all due to their error! Very bad business practice!

This was sent to me 6 days ago. No one reached out. I didn't expect it to either.

I bought a tool. It said save 20% coupon with email. I signed up. Now I get an email from Google saying I joined joinSmarty.com. they are taking my email address... and more than likely selling it for a profit. Do not use ECS tuning. I will not again. At some point corporate greed needs to stop. You lost a customer. FCP Euro will get all my business now.

I have been using ECSTuning for many many years. There was a period in the buyout where things got less than great, which is where the hate comes from. Small company sells to big company….. it sucks but it is what it is. After some growing pains and some genuine effort they put in to be better…. ECS has been fantastic.

They are in Ohio and I am in Arizona and my usual oil change package gets free shipping and it’s 2nd day and never a problem!

Customer service has been great.
