A message from Martyn Roussel, Director and CEO Clickasnap is under new ownership. My team has been improving the site in many areas. One such area is renewals and refunds. I know from personal experience just how irritating it is to have money taken from my bank account for a subscription without warning. It may be legitimate, but it sucks. I have found that Clickasnap has been doing this in the past. That stops now. We will refund all legitimate claims, with no quibble, if made within 14 days. As we further improve the site and add new features, we want you to come back. We do not want you to have a bad experience. We are setting up reminders to prevent this happening in future. The interface is clean, uploading is simple, and it’s a great way to build an audience while being rewarded for your creativity. Highly recommended for any photographer!

I previously left 5 star reviews for my experience of Clickasnap but unfortunately I've had to update these reviews with my current thoughts.
The site has received a few updates and whilst these have been meant to improve things for the users, they have often impacted exposure across the site and still have ongoing bugs or issues that have not been fixed or improved such as the search. The perks of the pro tier membership have been slowly eroded and not really worth it anymore. The site seems to be plagued with click circle behaviour mainly due to people uploading anything, rather than their best and doing view for view shenanigans to cheat the system. Clickasnap don't seem to be targeting this effectively and the users are paying the price.
I have since deleted my account after being a member since the start. It is not the same site that I originally joined. The ethos has changed and the many updates have made the experience worse in my opinion.

ClickASnap has finally snapped
I was a member of this site for 8 or 9 years. it started off well and by 2021 had grown into probably the best photography site on the web (IMHO). But it's standards have been plummeting under new management for the past 12 months. Nothing but bad software updates to the site and many broken promises of fixes from the admin team. Sadly I would now advise people against using this site.
I have removed this paragraph because ClickASnap flagged my review for containing harmful or illegal content. I strongly emphasise that I have no wish to cause harm, and have no intention of breaching Trustpilot rules, or any laws. My intentions where only to give an honest assessment of my experience.
I would have hoped for a more explanatory and positive response to attempt to regain trust in the site and the people that run it.

15 photos, 22 views, zero €, a SCAM
15 photos and 22 views, not a single penny in my account.. I should have read the reviews before subscribing to a Seller level and just threw out 6€ to these scam bugs.
I do not recommend at all.
Stear Clear of ClickaSnap
Firstly, I will say that CAS is not a scam. It is a platform, uniquely created by Tom Oswald (no longer part of the company), where photographers could get paid for people viewing their images. I was a member for a number of years. Now the biggest gripe of most users is the fact they get very few views and the site has constant issues. Such a sad state of affairs for what was once a superb photo community.
I feel so much better now that I have removed all my images and left the platform. So much time and effort by photographers put in to building a following and a community has been ruined by so many changes to the site that stops their images from getting exposure.
Users used to have direct contact with the CEO, Mr Oswald, via the now-deleted FB group, who would answer queries, incorporate changes if feasible, and generally partake in discussions about the platform. The FB group used to be a fun, lively, open forum but on the illegal sacking of Mr Oswald, it has turned into a toxic place with users being gaslighted by the current ownership and staff, many of whose families has left 5 star reviews on Trustpilot - more gaslighting. The group has now been removed as, now the truth is 'out there', the ownership can no longer contain their lies.
I will not go into any further detail about why I left the platform but you can get an idea by searching for Tom Oswald on Youtube.

Great customer service
It’s a genuine site where you can earn money for pictures but you do need to spend a lot of time on there and get lots of good pictures to see results.

RENEWAL WITH NO REMINDERS - READ FINE PRINT ON POLICY
You’re responsible for managing your own subscription and they do not send you any subscription update renewal emails saying hey your subscription renewal is coming up and you will be charged the X amount on this date.
Even if charge the day of they will refuse a refund cancel your subscription and allow you access until the recently paid for (day of) subscription expires in a year. Even with a kindly and well worded email this will be their response requesting a refund and cancel of subscription, this will be their response.
“ We completely understand that forgetting to cancel a subscription can be frustrating. However, our policy does not allow for refunds when a cancellation has not been made prior to renewal. When subscribing to either a monthly or annual membership, you authorise recurring payments until cancelled. This is outlined clearly at the point of purchase, and we also make this information easily accessible on our FAQs page, even without needing to register for an account.
That said, you are always in control of your recurring payments, and can cancel or downgrade at any time. I can confirm your subscription has now been cancelled, so no further charges will apply. You will continue to receive the benefits of your membership until the end of your current paid period.
We understand this may not be the outcome you were hoping for, but we thank you for your understanding. Should you wish to upgrade again in the future, you can do so at any time via your account settings.”
In my opinion, they are essentially just counting on people, forgetting about their subscriptions and not sending any notifications that they will be charging your credit card in renewal of that subscription. They’re just trying to get away with charging people and counting on them, forgetting to manage their subscription, and then having no understanding after the fact. Terrible customer service and policy stance!!!

ClickASnap has been a wonderful platform for me as an amateur photographer. It’s incredibly rewarding to be able to share my work and even earn from it over time. The user interface is easy to navigate, and the community is supportive and engaged.

ClickASnap is the only photo sharing platform (as far as I’m aware) where creators can earn few bucks by sharing their photos. The platform is constantly changing based on the constant feedback of the photography community that uses it. Although the platform may be improved for performance, I am hopeful the new changes proposed by the administration team will make ClickASnap a stronger app.

A genuine scam, they send no reminders, no communication what so ever in terms of renewals. They just take the money straight out of your account even after cancelling your subscription. Do not sign up for this. As stated in most other reviews, a quick easy way for them to make money and they refuse to take any accountability at all.

Do Not Sign Up – Dodgy Billing Practices
I deleted my account and cancelled all subscriptions last year yet I was still charged again a year later for another year . This is unacceptable and feels like a deliberate attempt to take money without consent. There was no warning, no notification and no way to stop the charge once it happened.
To make matters worse when I cancelled my subscription and deleted my account, I never even received a confirmation email — which is super dodgy and unprofessional.
I’ve sent three separate emails about this and have received no response. I’ve never experienced such poor service from any company before. Extremely disappointed with this kind of practice and complete lack of customer support.

When I cancelled my subscription and deleted my account last year, I never received any confirmation email. That’s not just a minor detail — it’s a serious failure on your part. Without any confirmation, I had no way to verify that the cancellation was successful, which conveniently left the door open for this unauthorised charge a year later. Frankly, it feels like a loophole designed to benefit the company, not the customer.
Your refund doesn’t undo the stress, time, or frustration caused by this — and it definitely doesn’t excuse the lack of transparency, the missing confirmation, or the fact I had to chase support multiple times before getting a proper answer.
This whole experience has been extremely disappointing. I’ve never come across such poor service or questionable handling from any other company.
To anyone considering signing up to ClickASnap — I strongly recommend you don’t. The way they handle cancellations, billing, and customer support is unprofessional at best and feels deliberately misleading. Save yourself the hassle.

Just to be clear, Katy — I did cancel my subscription when I deleted my account. I followed the process, but got no confirmation, no warning, and no way to verify anything. That’s a system failure, not user error.
Your response keeps claiming I didn’t cancel — but I did. And if your system can’t confirm or notify users properly, that’s on you.
Also, it’s telling that I only got a reply after posting a public review, despite emailing you multiple times. That’s not support — that’s damage control.
