Endless issues , ordered first and they cancelled and had to speak to customer service just to get a refund then ordered again and now it is just stuck in progress and hasn’t progressed. Even click and collect is just stuck needed for a birthday absolutely rubbish

We went in to get my daughter's ears done for her 7th birthday. I've never been a fan of Claire's, but she asked to go there because her friend had been. The piercing girl was in the shop alone. She acted as though we were inconveniencing her by taking a little time to choose which earrings to use, and got quite shirty when I advised my daughter on which type to have. When she went to make the piercing, she 'drew an imaginary line across her nose' to find the right points in the lobes, hence we ended up with an uneven result, with one a lot higher than the other. Someone had come into the shop whilst it was being done and was waiting to be served, which also added a bit of pressure. One ear got infected and swelled up very quickly, so much that it swallowed the earring up, with it ending up stuck inside the lobe! We ended up at a walk in centre so that a nurse could remove it. The only good bit about that was that it solved the problem of the uneven heights and we recently got the infected one done again, in a much, much better place. I would definitely not recommend Claire's.

I ordered 4 items. I only received 3 of them and one of them was damaged. One pair of earrings was not packaged at all and the back of one of the earrings was completely bent to the side.

I ordered 3 items online for delivery for my daughter's 9th birthday. On receipt on 21 May, only 2 of the items were in the box and 1 of them (a Squishmallow) was dirty having been rammed into a box that was too small and therefore badly sealed. The third item was missing although it was listed on the delivery note. I immediately emailed Claire's to raise this and received an automated reply that I would hear back in 3-4 days and not to send any follow ups. It is 6 days and I have heard nothing. This is fraudulent behaviour by a high street retailer. Noting that 80% of reviews give 1 star and Claire's seemingly don't bother to acknowledge any of them, I have contacted Citizens Advice and the press. I haven't used Claire's before and by crikey I won't ever use them again. Badly let down by Claire's and it's not on.

Every time I order Click and Collect from Claire's, they take my money and then cancel my order. Why are the systems so poor that they don't know whether they have stock or not? It happens every single time. I must remember not to fall for it again.

Very bad customer service. I don't like the way they are speaking with the customers. It is good if they improve their communication with the customers.

Ordered express 24 hour delivery for my daughters birthday, 29 hours later I just received confirmation Evri will be sending my package tomorrow...so a total of 48 hours deliver the day of my daughters birthday rather than the day before which I paid for, absolutely avoid.

Looked to be a UK site when I looked so ordered the star fish necklace which arrived today. Not at all like the image of a blue opalescent centre. More like some blue enamel paint.
I realised something wasn’t right when I checked the tracking number and it showed as coming from China!
TEMU was also shown.
Have emailed them and they responded with an option to return but more hassle from my end due to postage etc so decided to keep it and will charity shop it.
Further looks at Claire’s advert show a AI generated image too.
A complete rip off as far as I can see and images copies of other brands.
Other brands now advertising using same images, Evelyn jewellery being one of them!

Visited claires today and the price labels are so small, I could not read them...so I states this to the cashier who replied "I can read it for you"..?
How are customers suppoes to see the price ????

THE worst. I ordered from the EU website and paid way too much shipping costs (my fault). The order has been placed on the 10th of May and has not been processed until May 13th. Coincidentally the exact date I tried to cancel the order. Only that is has in fact not been possible to track my order since. After a few emails between me and "customer service" I received the tracking link, only to see it has been shipped from the UK and not the EU. I have been told I can refuse delivery and receive a refund but after asking 3 times I have yet to hear back on whether they will refund ALL costs including shipment (which I assume they won't but for some reason they won't reply to). On top of that "they experience delays because of a bank holiday (which one was on the 5th and the next will be on the 26th of May. What a stupid lie?!)
I am not surprised they went bankrupt. And I highly suggest to them to have no customer service at all because theirs is useless.

Dommage qu'on ne puisse pas mettre 0 étoile! Commande passée le 12 mai 2025, soi disant expédiée le 14 mai. Aujourd'hui, 20 mai et aucune nouvelle! Quand je me connecte sur mon compte et souhaite suivre mon colis, un message d'erreur apparaît depuis plusieurs jours. Un mail de réclamation a été envoyé, resté sans réponse jusqu'à maintenant! Passez votre chemin, le site Claire's est définitivement une GROSSE ARNAQUE!! Je lis toujours les commentaires avant mais là puisque la marque est connue et que l'on trouve des boutiques partout, je ne me suis pas méfiée! 50 euros partis en fumée et une petite fille qui attend son colis et qui va être déçue. Je vais me faire un malin plaisir de mettre des mauvais commentaires partout où je peux publier et surtout inciter mon entourage à ne jamais commander chez vous!!

Really poor experience online. Ordered 6 items, all of which were in stock and “available for delivery”.

When the order was dispatched, I was told that 5 of the items weren’t available and I won’t be sent them! Doesn’t make sense to me - I checked the website as soon as this happened and the items still said “available for delivery”. What’s the point in having items up for sale if they’re just going to be cancelled anyway???

My daughter had two helix piercings recently in Dundee. She found the experience pretty painless. We bought a piercing pillow which has been great to avoid lying on the ears at bedtime. The rapid aftercare solution was not great though. Her ears started to go red and got inflamed and getting worse with each use of the solution. I changed to a spray on solution by base laboratories which has sorted out the issue. There is no need to wipe with cotton wool either with this as an alternative. I would never by Claire's rapid solution again. The actual piercing was done well and hygienically.

Extremely Disappointed with Claire's Piercing Service

I had an absolutely horrific experience at Claire's when I went in for a piercing. Not only did the piercing get stuck in my earlobe, but I ended up needing surgical removal. I was in the hospital for three days, and the pain was unbearable.

To make matters worse, when I called Claire's to explain what happened, the lady on the phone was incredibly rude and didn’t seem to care at all. Her lack of empathy and professionalism only added to my frustration.

On top of everything, she smelled strongly of cigarettes while performing my piercing, which made the whole experience feel incredibly unhygienic. I can’t believe a place that should prioritize cleanliness and customer care allowed this to happen. I would never recommend getting a piercing done here again.

J ai commandé sur le site fin avril. Normalement livraison en 3 jours. Non reçue 3 semaines après et quand je vais sur le site de suivi. Cela me dit expédié comme statut quand j indique le numéro de commande, elle n existe pas. De qui se moque t on. 2 mails Envoyé zéro réponse service client qui ne répond pas. Je ne savais pas que ma commande partait d Angleterre alors qu il y a un magasin dans ma région. Ma fille de 6 ans pleure car elle attend son colis. Je suis très en colère. C est une grosse arnaque. Je viens de voir que plein de personnes sont dans la même situation. Déjà que c est super cher. Ma fille adore ce magasin mais j irais ailleurs c est inadmissible de se ficher des clients comme cela

Went into look for a nose peircing and my friend (not seeing the sign ) sprayed one of the sprays the worker then goes on to call us fricking eejits and fricking m*ngoes never in my life have I been disrespected like this in a store .

We took our daughter here today to have her ear’s pierced and was seen by the manager i believe her name was Sarah. She was so helpful, helped us choose the best earrings for our daughter, talked us through the process and was very reassuring. Honestly we couldn’t thank her enough, she was so polite and really went out of her way for us. Thank you

Ordered 4 plush on a buy 1 get 1 free offer. I was above the £20 amount for free shipping. When the order was shipped I was notified two items were out of stock and a refund was sent - however I was not refunded the correct amount and the charged me for shipping plus extra from my refund amount. If I had ordered just two plush and paid for the shipping it would have been cheaper. I am owed from my calculations, £6.
