I left my laptop behind either at claire's accessories, Stall Street, Bath or the Tesco Express opposite. Tesco does not have a contact phone number, so I called Claires first, I spoke a young lady called Emily who told me it was not there. When I explained my predicament of not realising it was missing until I arrived home after a 3 hour Journey. Emily went the extra mile and popped over to Tesco to ask if it was there and thankfully it was. I am so grateful and think that she should have a pat on the back. So a big tank you to Emily.

They should not be selling them as they are too small and get in the ears ! Can’t believe I didn’t ready these reviews before I went and did this to my child 😞 I’m so angry I’ll be visiting their store for a chat … pls dont do it !
Surprise bag
Brought a 10 pound surprise bag in the closing down sale, it was rubbish. Full of crap, cheap stuff. Not worth 10 pounds.

I would strongly caution parents before getting their child’s ears pierced at Claire's. Unfortunately, we had a very bad experience at two different locations.
My daughter had her ears pierced at two different Claire’s locations, and both times the piercing became infected. Her ear became extremely painful and swollen, and we had to carefully try to remove the earring because the infection had gotten so bad. After seeing the condition of my daughter’s ear and dealing with the pain she was in, I was extremely disappointed and concerned about the sanitation standards being followed.
If you care about your child’s safety and comfort, I would strongly recommend considering a professional piercing studio or another establishment that follows stricter hygiene and sterilization practices.
Very disappointed with our experience.

Very bad experience , at Guildford Mall Surrey location, don’t recommend to anyone, scammers they hid the original receipt after Refusing a full refund, after making so many ex excuses that the item is on final sale even though there is no sign says final sale and the employees didn’t mention anything about it
They told us we can’t refund the purchase until the security came and they told us we can give you a gift card, but you can’t use it in a store you have to go and find another store which is something stupid and ridiculous
Un trusted at all be aware of these guys and always check your receipt before you leave the store their trick is by three items and get two for free

Bromley branch - the expectation is to lone trade due to low staff following administration .. now expected to work longer hours (8am - 7.30pm) due to a faulty shutter - scorned for not bringing enough money in. Trading standards need to investigate

Paid for a friend to have a nose piercing done which fell out within a week. The employee at Claire’s said to go to a tattooist to get it done properly. Waste of £40. Claire’s won’t redo it either. Absolutely disgusting. The attitude of the staff was appalling as well 😡
I've gone to several stores and each…
I've gone to several stores and each time they've claimed not to find my account. I contacted customer service with receipts and asked that my rewards be credited. They put my rewards in my account RETRO so that essentially I'm never going to get them. We're talking about roughly $60 in missed rewards because the stores show no connection to my account and customer "service" waited to add them until they're expired. When I attempted to respond I keep getting kick back emails saying can't be delivered like my email address is blocked. I'm pretty frustrated. Corporate works the same hours I do further creating a barrier to access. I've spent way too much with my daughter and her friends in their stores to be shut down like trash. I simply want them to assist with the account to store disconnect and give me my latest purchase rewards.
Claire's Leicester
Claire's Leicester has a really kind and helpful manager who is very knowledgeable. The store is nice and tidy.
The negative is for some things there is not sufficient stock such as hair bobbles for children.
The other negative (which isnt the fault of the ma ager) is the constant changing of student and BLC discount on and off.

Suite à la réouverture du magasin de villiers en bière le mercredi 4/02/2025. J’ai acheté une gourde pour ma fille ainsi que des boucles d’oreilles. L’une des boucles (pince) ne fonctionne pas, après bataille (sans ticket) un échange est fait par la manager du magasin. Sauf que ma fille après avoir rempli la gourde samedi 7/02 pour son anniversaire, la cogne le long de l’évier et le nez ce casse (c’est une gourde en forme d’ours)
Pas d’échange, pas de geste commerciale. Je trouve ça honteux, la pauvre petite 8 ans n’a même pas pu se servir de cette gourde.

Vous achetez une gourde qui a certainement un défaut suite à un mauvais coup et le nez casse direct, mais la manager ne veux rien savoir. C’est la faute de la petite.
Aucune empathie, aucun service. Lorsque l’on achète sur des sites, les retours se font sans problèmes. Le magasin Claire’s vend des articles pour jeunes filles, mais visiblement ce n’est pas de très bonne qualité. A fuire….
Acheter sur les sites chinois c’est plus prudent.

Suite à un achat effectué samedi au magasin du Faubourg Saint-Antoine, d’un montant de 12,97 €, la vendeuse a commis une erreur sur le TPE et m’a débitée de 712,97 € au lieu du montant réel. Soit 700 € prélevés à tort.
Malgré plusieurs tentatives de contact, je suis sans réponse depuis lundi. Aucun retour, aucune explication, aucun remboursement. Prélever une telle somme par erreur est déjà grave, mais ne pas répondre ensuite est totalement inadmissible.
Je déconseille vivement cette enseigne tant que le service client restera aussi défaillant.
Je suis outrée de voir à quel point ma demande n’est pas prise au sérieux, alors même que l’on m’a volé la moitié d’un smic, sans même se demander si j’allais pouvoir survivre ne serait ce que quelques jours sans cette somme, sans être à découvert, et sans craindre d’être interdite bancaire.
Je reste sans voix.
Claire’s in Watford- terrible customer service
Claire’s in Watford, a real shame to see they are closing as it’s great for kids but was utterly disgusted with the service today. I bought a bracelet for my niece and it broke straight away. I returned it and as I was leaving, one of the sales people said under her breath, “I hope it breaks again”. Vile.

Went into Norwich store and bought some sealed earrings usually used for piercing and a set of titanium. They didn't tell me they were non refundable and I tried to return 2 hours later and was refused. Nothing on my receipt says non refundable either.

Bluewater - Only want your money.
On a recent visit to the Bluewater shopping center, went into the Claire's Accessories branch as they had a dozen '50% off absolutely everything in store' posters displayed. Knowing how horrendously over priced they normally are, I took my 10 and 7 year old inside with our litany of shopping bags.
7 year old picked up a white bag labelled 'Surprise bag.'. With a price of £10 marked. However this would surely have been 50% off but yet got to a busy till and was told no it's not included despite no POS to advise of this.
Daughter hesitating as £10 was all of her pocket money she had saved up and agreed to continue with the purchase. We paid her £10 and walked out the store. The 'surprise' bag was sealed so you could not see what you were buying until you opened it.
She opened the bag to find a handful of earrings and end of line stock items and was disappointed as she does not have her ears pierced. How you can put piercings in a bag with an unknown audience is very strange.
So we went back in queued up again to the only till open despite the busiest shopping days of the year to then ask very politely if we could just simply swap for another bag and explained she was disappointed,
At this point another young girl comes out the back area tells us 'nope, cannot be refunded.' I said you did not tell us at point of sale these items were not returnable or exchangeable. She didn't have an answer. Meanwhile another staff member is spying on us kept staring at my daughter as she looked in the wheelie bin of other surprise bags as if she was going to steal something despite holding hundreds of pounds worth of shopping from other stores.
Staff member maintained that if we want a different bag we pay for another. I politely declined wished them a merry Christmas and we exited the store as my child of 7 years bursts into tears.
This was the worst retail experience I have had, such a lack of empathy, undertsanding, professionalism and understanding from them around consumer rights and a lacxk of basic human decency. I wasn't asking for my money back simply to exchange for items that were not useless to a child that doe snot have ears pierced.
It is no wonder this company is fast disappearing from high streets. Over priced and only interested in putting money in the till.

£30 for a tiny, teeny tiny, short stem stud.
Go somewhere like Blue Banana instead.
I took my son to the High Cross in Leicester branch and straight away I thought the stud looked tiny, like one for a small child. Before the piercing took place there was absolutely loads of faffing about till quite a crowd was around him, being on the spectrum this caused him some high anxiety that he had to battle to keep calm.
In less than two weeks his ear has swelled up and swallowed this tiny stud, I had to force it out his lobe last night and the stud looked disgusting, gunky, black, horrid. I cleaned his ear up and put a stud of my own in and now fingers crossed it will calm the swelling down.
Use this company at your own risk.
