Claires accessories has an offer on at the moment, buy one set of fake nails, get a second set free. So I bought 2 sets, one for 10 pounds, and one for 12. In addition I bought a pack of bracelets for 8 pounds. I checked with the cashier that 1 pair of nails would be free which she confirmed. She then goes on to charge me for both sets of nails and the bracelets are free. I expected to pay for the most expensive set of nails and bracelets. I still ended up paying for both sets of nails?! It's not about the 2 pounds i had to pay more, it's about the principle.

Still waiting on a delivery that was supposed to arrive last week. Tracking link not working , no one responding to emails. Order was supposed to be presents that are now embarrassingly late. Will never ever shop with Claire’s again.

Thankfully I myself haven’t had the misfortune of getting pierced at any of the Claire’s branches.

However I am writing this as this is the 4th set of ear lobe piercings I have had to removed from clients in the space of 3 weeks!

I own a tattoo and piercing studio in Warwickshire, professional piercer for 18yrs, so I know exactly what I’m talking about

Each time a client comes in with ear piercings from Claire’s there is an issue! Wonky and crooked piercings, the backs on so tight it’s actually crushing the skin causing severe swelling, redness, soreness and excessive discharge or the jewellery has embedded in the skin, making it incredibly painful for the client. Removal is the only option.

One client had a helix done! IT IS NOT SAFE TO PIERCE CARTILAGE DONE WITH A GUN! It causes blunt force trauma and often shatters the cartilage causing keloid lumps to develop..

The latest was a child of 9, where I’ve had to cut the skin on the back to get the butterfly clip off, a child crying and in pain as a direct result of a piercing received at Claire’s , I might add both sides were wonky, not in the correct position and the left side pierced at an angle.
This is unprofessional to say the least, the reason this is happening is because your “technicians” no absolutely nothing about body piercing or anatomy and that certificate and qualification you give them isn’t worth the paper it’s written on, that alone is a scam to make the client feel like they can trust you. There is no certification or qualification for body piercing in this country. Literally anyone can do it.

It’s states on your website to clean the piercing 3 times a day!! That is ridiculous and is only going to result in clients having further issues, the solution that you provide / sell, is just a marketing gimmick- there is nothing useful in that solution that is going to heal a piercing.

I only recommend cooled boiled water because no one has reactions to water! Piercings settle very quickly with no irritation caused by unnecessary manufactured solutions.

Recommending to clean 3 times a day is over cleaning and will be problematic for the client, particularly small children because their skin is so delicate!

The jewellery you offer, some stainless steel and gold options- what about people with nickel allergies? Piercing with any of these will cause a nickel allergy to flare and it will be a direct result of your “technicians” not being trained properly and having no knowledge of metal allergies.

As I stated this is the 4th client in 3 weeks I have had to do a removal on, but this has happened on multiple occasions over the years and I am not the first professional body piercer to complain about Claire’s.

The reason you are allowed to continue butchering people and young people’s ears is because the is no law or bylaws surrounding body piercing. This seriously needs to change.

Each client I have helped I have recommended they contact Trading Standards in regard to your practices nationwide.

It’s truly appalling you make money from people whilst providing them with a sub standard piercing from under qualified “technicians”

I have taken photographes of the issues I have encountered in the last few weeks, my clients provided documentation proving the purchase and locations where they received the piercing and I will be contacting head office with this and continue to do so until you do something about it. Your practices are so bad and in some cases dangerous to your customers.

I will continue to document every issue I come across because I feel that strongly that the legislation needs to change for companies like Claire’s not to be allowed to pierce.

If a client came back with an issue, would your technicians even know what to do or how to sort the problem? I doubt it.

I Visited Claire's at Cheshire Oaks. I received Exceptional Customer Service from the Awesome EMILY-ROSE, she helped me with my purchases and was so helpful and kind. She was so friendly and just so Wonderful. Thankyou so very much EMILY-ROSE.

J’ai passé commande le 28 mai, pour deux paires de lunettes avec une remise. Depuis je n’ai aucun suivi de colis, à part « expédier » le lien d’acheminement ne fonctionne pas. J’ai reçu un mail pour evaluer les produits alors que je ne l’ai est toujours pas reçu.
Le service clients ne répond pas aux mails et aux appels.. nous somme le 17 juin.. je ne recommande pas du tout la livraison..préférer le click and collecte.

This is honestly after purchasing an item. This is a Chinese company, nothing to do with a Claire person. Took a month to deliver. So be very aware!

Commande internet le 4/06 livraison promise en moins de 7 jours. Colis impossible à suivre je sais pas où il est quand je vais le recevoir et nous en sommes à plus de 7 jours aucune réponse à mes emails et pas de téléphone grosse arnaque le site méfiez vous !!!!!

Where the hell do you go for support the stores don’t want to know online emails never reply and no phone lines!!!! I paid for next day delivery but confirmation now saying 4 days!!! Pointless and stressful

Showed a picture of Turqoise earrings. Bought them and received alot of rubbish did not even look like the picture going to try and get money back looks like a scam. DO NOT ORDER.

Après 3 jours à ne pas préparer mon click and collect, la commande a été automatiquement annulée.
L'offre à laquelle j'avais eu acces n'etait plus d'actualité.
Ce n'est pas la premiere fois qu'il y a des soucis de leur coté en click and collect par un manque de réactivité des vendeurs.
Nonchalance au telephone, on nous demande toujours de patienter.

A total fraud & Scam!

Giving the impression that the Jewelry in hand crafted in UK and only finding out its actually cheap goods from Chine!

There must be a law against this fraudulent deceitful business practice :(

I've given a neutral rating because I haven't received my order yet but in all honesty I have no idea what I'm going to be receiving! I ordered a capybara mini backpack keyring, capybara mini notebook, sticki rolls set and mini gel pens. The money was taken and all went smoothly. Then I receive a dispatch notification along with a note to say that unfortunately the capybara mini backpack keyring is now out of stock so that wasn't in the order - no mention of a refund for that item. Then this morning I receive a text from Claire's that stated - did you forget about capybara mini backpack keyring? Along with a link that takes me to it on the website. So they've told me it's out of stock so not in my order, then send me a text to say have I forgot about it. Are they trying to be funny or what?! Then this afternoon they send me an email about it stating 'Your faves are still here' with a picture of it! I've checked the website and it says it is in stock online. At this point I'm wondering whether it will actually be in my order and someone has made a mistake. To be honest, I have no idea what is going on with it but it will be the last time I order online with them, far too much confusion!

J’ai fais un piercing au nez là bas, ils percent au pistolet, le bijoux donné est affreux il s’enlève tout le temps et blesse le trou du piercing. J’ai eu une énorme excroissance, j’ai du retirer mon piercing. 50€ pour ça ? Deux de mes amis l’ont également fait dans un autre claire’s, résultat : excroissance, et ils ont dû retirer le piercing.

I purchased four pieces from Claire. Two of the pieces that arrived were not what I ordered. Supposedly they were in gold and silver. Not hallmarked. Of the pieces, three earrings and one pendant looked so cheap that it would be credible if purchased from two dollar shop. When I complained they gave the option of me paying to have the items returned and wait for a refund or accept a partial refund of 20%. Beware. This site is a scam!

I just wanted to say a great big Thank you to Sophie at Claire’s in High Wycombe! Sophie and her team did an amazing job at hosting my daughter’s 9th Birthday Party at the store! Sophie took away all the stress of organising a party and was very friendly and helpful in the run up to her party and on the day! My daughter and her friends had an absolutely amazing time and the party was great value for money! They particularly loved having a makeover, dressing up for the catwalk and getting to choose what they wanted in store (included in the party price). Her older sister now wants to have her party there too! Thanks once again!
