I ordered a side table and I doubt it will turn up reading the other reviews. No delivery so far, no way to trace as link is not valid, no response to emails and when I ring it says to leave a message but mailbox full. I bet it is. Scammers. Don’t order - AVOID

I’m not sure what has happened to this company. Based on previous positive experiences from family members who ordered from Chiltern Oak, I decided to place an order myself, expecting an honest, reliable, and good value service. Unfortunately, my experience has been far from that.

Nearly three weeks have passed, and my order has yet to arrive. The delivery status hasn’t updated since the day I placed it, and I’ve received no communication or updates. Meanwhile, my payment was processed without issue. Like many others, I’ve been unable to get any response from customer service.

What once seemed like a dependable and trustworthy business now appears to be in a state of decline. Very disappointed and would urge others to avoid.

Do not order from here they take your money do not deliver.

Shambles of a company. Horrendous customer service. Spent near on £3000, paid in full, in July. Furniture to be delivered beginning of October. Still waiting, lies after lies. Constantly chasing for updates, too many issues to even list!. Now awaiting a call back for refund, the person I spoke to (finally) is unable to authorised. Apparently this company is rebranding so will continue to be the same ****show. Check their facebook page for other upset customers. AVOID

Still waiting. No response. Almost a month and nothing. Totally genuine… do not buy (online) from this shower of sh!t business. They don’t care. Happy to take your money but do not deliver.
Please avoid. Atrocious indeed.

I wish I’d seen the reviews here before I ordered. I found an office chair on the website and it was delivered with no issue. Within 7 months the material had started to fray (with minimal use) and the back of the chair broke to the point where it was no longer safe to sit on. Again, minimal use. I discovered that a metal part underneath had sheared off. There is no way I could have done anything to cause this. After initially responding in less than a day, the customer service email responses then started taking around a week and were not at all helpful. I was finally offered an exchange…for a different chair, as the one I originally ordered was out of stock. The value was less than I’d paid and by that point I’d already had to replace my office chair so chose another type of chair worth even less. It still hasn’t been delivered. I feel like I’ve thrown away nearly £200. I would not recommend ordering from the website and I suspect their stock consists of rejects from other companies. Over-priced and very poor quality.

DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE. Failed to fulfil their service, impossible to get hold of anyone, do not reply to emails and if they do they take days at a time. Caused substantial damage to our walls. Customer service is shameful.

6 weeks later and still not had our Sintered stone dining table collected! 33 phone calls...allegedly passed to the Directors, told that we'd hear early part of the week 3 times now as to when our collection schedule would be... plus one collection date, not collected, no apologies, told we'd have numerous call backs from 3 members of Staff, the dining table is not
fit for purpose, it is fused shut and cannot extend from a 6 seater to a 10 seater! I'd give no stars if I could! Utter rubbish 🗑

This company seems to be doing everything to avoid sending out the goods you have paid for - nil satisfaction on all accounts - still waiting for chair that was ordered & hasn’t arrived - each time you phone you are told they will get back to you & they don't - seems from other reviews this is standard.

do not order from this company, we ordered a wardrobe and bedside table (£889.98 all together including £50.00 white glove delivery) heard nothing other than a confirmation email- wasnt delivered on the date specified on their website & after multiple email attempts and phone calls we then reported it to our bank after no response- to which the company responded asking us to cancel the charge back and they will send out our order.
we received a text with a delivery date- when the day came around only the bedside table was delivered, left fully packaged after paying extra for white glove delivery. again after multiple emails i’ve received no response regarding the undelivered wardrobe or refund!

Still waiting for delivery for a white triple wardrobe (£899.99 + £50.00 white glove delivery), and now considering the legal position. Awful customer service and my wardrobe has still not arrived. I have been informed twice that is has been dispatched but this is clearly not the case when I check the tracking in the app. Having placed an order on 22nd October I have now waited three weeks for delivery despite the website clearly identifying a 7 day delivery time. I have sent multiple emails which have not been responded to.

In the meantime as I have disposed of my previous wardrobe my clothes are causing a lot of clutter and and I cannot receive guests. Incredibly disappointed.

Shocking customer service! The furniture is fantastic, but the customer experience post store visit is the worst I’ve ever experienced. We just brought a new house and ordered a kitchen set, after being told 7-12 days originally. We have had 5 failed delivery attempts where we have taken 3 days holiday for and my dad has taken 1 full day for too. The deliveries were as followed:

1. Only sent the bench with no chairs (sent the wrong bench)
2. Didn’t send anything at all and we waited all day for nothing
3. Just sent the table
4. Were going to send the table again so I cancelled and I was forced to visit the store, for them to actually have the chairs there and I took them home.
5. Nothing on the truck again and am still waiting for them to collect the incorrect bench and send us the correct one.

Every time I speak to them they tell me someone is looking into this but it’s clearly as a way to get me off the phone. Each time they speak to me, they criticise what’s happening within the business and say they have no idea what’s going on, but no sense of urgency to actually fix the situation. So I am still waiting on a response. Avoid at all costs!!

The lack of customer service from this company is laughable. I am writing this review as a last resort to try and get an order that I have placed, delivered. I purchased a corner bench which comes in 2 parts at the end of July and I am still waiting for half of it to be delivered. My initial order was sent and it was the wrong way around so they advised me that they would just replace one of the parts. I then had the wrong item delivered on 4 separate occasions. I have asked for some compensation which they told me they would refund the £50 white glove service. This was on 16th October. I'm still waiting for the item and the refund now. I have tried to phone but you either can't get through or an extremely unhelpful person answers and says they haven't got any control over online orders and can't give you a phone number. What else am I supposed to do when I have sent 5 emails with no reply?!
Please avoid this company like the plague.

Ordered from online store & was given a delivery time of 4-5 days. Item did not arrive when expected, Customer service not very helpful & unresponsive to emails. Item finally arrived two weeks late. I have no complaints about the table it is lovely and exactly as advertised. Shame about the Customer Service!

SCAM!! we ordered a dining table over 3 weeks ago along with a chair set. The chair set that arrived was not the one we ordered online and the table didn't even show up! We have asked for our money back and for the items to be collected but they haven't even bothered to reply to emails. £900 down the drain. AVOID AT ALL COSTS

AVOID at all costs! If I could rate this company 0 stars I would.
They have taken £900 from me for a dining set I ordered online. Part of my order turned up (dining bench and chairs) however the bench was the incorrect one and the dining table never turned up. Having been in email contact with the company for over 3 weeks, they are now ignoring all emails and not responding despite me asking for them to collect the items and provide me with a full refund. The 'customer service' is disgusting, there is no phone number to contact them on only an email, and they are now ignoring emails. Having searched online they are called Online Furniture Ltd, trading as Chiltern Oak Furniture, unfortunately Online Furniture Ltd is going into liquidation, despite them continuing to take peoples money! This is all clearly a scam, avoid at all costs!

BEWARE. I think that the online store is a scam. I ordered 2 weeks ago. Just the usual acknowledgment then nothing. I have contacted them three times now via email and their website (there is no phone number) with no personal reply just the auto generated one.
I am now trying to get a refund from my credit card.

I did finally get a reply from the company. - They cancelled my order and promised me a refund. No refund has ever been received. My credit card has refunded the money.

Ordered and paid for a dining table and chairs over 3 weeks ago, tried to contact multiple times and still no idea if/ when these items will be delivered. Think we have lost our money. Do not order from the online shop!!!!

If I could give zero stars I would.
Ordered a dining table online on 11th Oct 2024, it is now 22nd Oct and no sign of this dining room table, I emailed to be told delivery is currently being scheduled with our courier and to expect a txt off DPD with a date, still nothing. My money cleared the bank same day so they have had my money for 11days. I have tried to ring them to be on hold forever then eventually cut off. Disgrace, this company should not be trading poor poor poor customer service.

Great customer service from Mark at Chiltern Oak. Very warm, friendly, and helpful when we went to choose our furniture, and after-sales was great too.

We had some problems with the furniture when it arrived, and weren't happy with the lack of communication and clarity with staff when we called, as to what would be done about it, but when Mark began to deal with us the communication was a lot better, and we felt looked after - he was very helpful in rectifying the issues and sorting us out with an alternative, going above and beyond to ensure we were happy with our purchase. Great communication from Mark throughout. Thanks :)
