We have had such a positive experience with Alexandra Lodge. Largely due to the manager, Lainey, who has been supportive, kind and helpful from the start. She is so bright and happy and nothing feels like too much. She even came in on a Saturday, her day off, to take copies of important paper work for us. We can't thank her enough for everything she has done. The lodge itself is in beautiful grounds, feels modern and welcoming and has vast amounts of entertainment on throughout the month.

Churchills took over our over 55 living complex last year at Hawthorns FRINTON on sea, though very sceptical I have been pleasantly suprised, we are kept informed regularly of things going on , especially by our manager Ginny who is very approachable at all times, we have had several managers in the past but hopefully Ginny will stay with us for the foreseeable future, !!!!

The scheme managers Lisa from St Nicholas Lodge, Helen from Highbury Lodge and Helen from Hadley Lodge are very passtionate in supporting the residence at the lodges. The places are lovely, "posh" but very homely and I know the managers always go the extra mile to support their residents! The atmosphere is so friendly and welcoming. I am saving up to move in when I retire!

We recently hired the communal lounges at Park Rise, where our mum lives, and had a really positive experience. The booking process was smooth and straightforward, thanks to Maureen, who was incredibly helpful and accommodating throughout. She made everything easy to arrange and was always approachable with any questions we had.

The space itself was well-maintained and perfect for our needs, making the occasion even more enjoyable. We truly appreciate the excellent service and would highly recommend hiring the lounges to others. A special thank you to Maureen — we look forward to booking again in the future.

I have lived at Jubilee Lodge Seaton for 7 years and enjoy my time here and would recommend it to others. Just a short walk to the sea and supermarkets.
The lodge manager Karon is a real asset , if you need any help you only have to ask her and she will do her best to put your mind at rest, she also arranges trips and meals out for those that want to go.

Key up the high standards

I live in Churchill Building in Peacehaven.
I live Next door to the Guest Room. When I was thinking of moving here ,I asked the sales lady a few times was it Sound Proofed ?? She said defiantly !!
That is not true , I hear lots of the guests, I have to call out & bang my hand on the wall.I have asked the Area manager isn't to please Sound poor it?
I have heard people have SEX !!!
Where is their Privacy & where is Mine Privacy.
It should be done FREE OF CHARGE AS IT IS
CHURCHILLS BUILDING & THE OWNERS can sell afford it. I would like to the Owners ,would they do this to their
Mother?? This has been on since I moved in 28/4 /22.

Churchill have provided an excellent and trouble free moving experience. The move administration was free of problems, and they provided all the required information promptly. The ongoing maintenance and care of the development is to the highest standards, and the maintenance charges seem to be very reasonable considering all the services that they include. The development, Osbourne Lodge, is modern and very well located with regular buses passing every few minutes from a bus stop just outside. Special mention must go to our outstanding Lodge Manager, Graham, who looks after everything, and for whom nothing is too much trouble. The property and communal areas are all bright and welcoming, and the other residents are very friendly. One can participate in various activities as one
wishes, but do not feel that this is 'expected'. The result is a very positive atmosphere throughout.

We have been living at St Nicolas Lodge in Kings Norton for over a month now and have been thoroughly welcomed by our Lodge Manager, Lisa Price. She has been most helpful to us newbies and nothing is too much trouble. The existing residents have been very welcoming as well and asked us to join in their activities, such as going out for Sunday lunch tomorrow.

Efficiently managed, with very good on site manager.
Have lived here for 3.5 years quite happily and have always felt safe and secure.

Visited my family in Jubilee Lodge Seaton on our visit from Canada. We stayed in the newly refurbished guest suite for 7 days all perfectly organised by Karon Banks the Lodge Manager.
The room and all amenities were clean and comfortable, the newly refurbished bathroom was excellent. My brother and sister in law are very lucky to have such a facility in their Lodge. Thank you.

Just stayed a few days at Orchard Lodge in Calne. Lodge manager Bill made us feel so welcome and at-home so had a lovely break. Guest suite was easy access on the ground floor and very comfortable and the residents we met were very welcoming too, so many thanks everyone. Andrew and Pat.

Cornerway Lodge in Grayshott is in an excellent location — extremely convenient for the village shops and just steps away from the village hall, which makes attending local activities effortless. It also feels like a very safe place for elderly residents, with the flats well‑situated and easy to access.

However, there is a significant downside. We were promised redecoration and refurbishment of the lounge and other shared areas, originally scheduled for completion by August 2025. Since then, there have been repeated delays and shifting explanations, and we now have no clear indication of when the work will actually take place. This ongoing uncertainty has been disappointing, especially given how important these communal spaces are to residents.

I have had the privilege of working privately for a number of flat owners at Charrington Lodge in Oxted over the last few months, providing decorating and interiors, and felt I had to say how good the management of the Lodge is and how happy all of the residents are! It is a very noticable and has been a real pleasure working there.

I have lived here in Holyshute Lodge for nearly four years, and must say that thy have been happy years,We had a new manager a few years ago ,(Amanda)
And my what a wonderful difference she has made, nothing is to much for her , she one very special lady .

A huge thank you to Michael at Chantry Lodge……. so friendly, supportive, helpful and so kind. After a very stressful and complex move Michael was so supportive and has made my mum and the rest of the family feel so welcome each time we visit.

This review is to recognise and compliment Sharon Wait, the Lodge Manager at Goodwin Lodge, Ark Lane, Deal.

Sharon is an exceptional Lodge Manager who is clearly dedicated to providing the best service to both the Lodge residents and guests.

She is always willing to help and provide support.

Since my Mum moved into the Lodge she has been an absolute godsend, always picking up on my emails and phone calls, as I don't live in Kent it is not easy to always know what is happening with my Mum.

Churchills Estates are very fortunate to have Sharon as one of their Lodge Managers as she is an exemplar and positive role model as the 'face' of the company.

Not all of my interactions with other Churchills Estates team have been as positive.

I hope that Churchills Estates recognise and acknowledge what an absolute gem of an employee they have in Sharon; and reward her accordingly.

Visited Eddington lodge on many occasions to meet with friends who live in one of the appartments they have lived there for approximately 18months,We have been welcomed by management who you can see that they go above and beyond at making all residents feel safe comfortable and welcome and visitors to,Our friends reiterate many times that it is the best move they made to live at Eddington lodge,The management could not be anymore obliging and accommodating and has helped our friends in the transition to move there.Many thanks to the management staff.

My Mother spent a happy 14 years in a Churchill apartment. She had already lived in a similar development elsewhere and moved to the Churchill flat to be nearer to family when she was widowed. We were happy to know that, while she still retained her independence, there was someone keeping an eye out for her, just in case she required any assistance. There was always a weekly social programme available but no pressure to join in if you didn't want to. The site manager was always available to assist with anything during office hours and all the rooms had bell-chord pulls if urgent assistance was required 24/7.

Emma is very lovely and welcoming and will always go above and beyond to help with any problems. The lodge is very friendly and clean. I would really recommend it
