The Club was formed in 1907 as ‘The Caravan Club’. 110 years later in 2017 we wanted to reflect our broadening membership and became the ‘Caravan and Motorhome Club’.
We are an inclusive club, representing the interests of over 1.1 million caravanners, motorhomers, campervanners and campers providing our members access to over 2,700 quality campsites across the UK and Europe.
As the No. 1 rated UK touring club, our purpose is to help our members get more from the great outdoors.

Always struggle getting a pitch when…
Always struggle getting a pitch when and where suits us at short notice,very annoying when we can’t book a pitch but you have people on a pitch that are NOT members have booked Clubfest on three occasions and to be honest very disappointed on last visit and would not book any more,and we are seriously considering not to renew our membership next year due to all I have mentioned and getting to expensive as we are both retired and now pensioners

We understand that finding short-notice pitch availability during peak periods can be challenging, which is why we work to manage availability fairly across our network. The vast majority of our sites are open to members and non-members. However, those booking without a membership pay an additional £15 per night non-member supplement. Everyone can book our sites on the app, website or directly with our UK Booking Team. CL's NEED TO BE CHECKED ON
Know that camc sites are going to be nice. CL's, on the other hand, used a fair few this padt year, all paid for upfront!!! Were NOT 5 pitches.... club needs to physically go and do checks on them. One site squeezing 9 onto 5 pitches. NOT SAFE... we store our caravan at CAMC site, have to ring make an appointment to collect and bring back caravan. Had to use hotel because hsd an emergency away from home but couldn't access our own caravan as out of hours!!! Need to change system to key fob!!! Lots of lovely sites closed during the winter even though mostly hard standing. Brecon council has given permission for Brecon to open all year, one hard standing half, one shower block, BUT CAMC HAVEN'T RESPONDED TO THE COUNCIL!!!! All CAMC sites should carry replacement gas bottles too. Not a cheap hobby anymore with some sites charging in excess of £50.00 a night

Good facilities in an excellent location. Easy walk along the canal or a short £6 taxi ride into Brecon. Pub 10 min walk.

Losing the plot - not a club any more.
Big, often overcrowded, sites are not our bag - in fact we only maintain our membership for access to the wonderful range of Certificated Locations. Costs for the club sites have risen out of all proportion and the introduction of charging more the busier sites become is completely out of kilter with the ethos of a members' club. Don't think we'll stick another year.

A Site with Real Character
What a super team they have at this site. Jim, Flip and Gaz made and my wife Julie so welcome.
The site was beautifully kept and the shower/loos similarly.
We will be returning in the Spring by which time I will have a motor-mover fitted or have had lessons in getting our caravan into one or two more spaces on bends. lol Thank you team for looking after us so well. Paul & Julie

I was totally happy with my stay the staff are very welcoming and helpful, the shower is always clean and hot, and the washer and dryer are reasonable, the site it's self is kept clean and tidy and well lite also very peaceful

The prices are much to high the sites are great clan an well equipped but I now choose less expensive sites

I mainly like the CL sites
I mainly like the CL sites, but I have found the Club sites to be immaculately kept, providing all the facilities they promise, and staffed by friendly enthusiastic people.
I get tired of hearing critics complaining about the Club.
