Really good quality but it is expensive

Just because I decide I no longer want to receive emails from you doesn't mean your spam texts are any more welcome. Sending them at 7am is even worse and further, because I chose not to have an all inclusive plan as this is a cheaper way for me to use mobile. means I have to PAY to opt out using the mobile number you provide that i have to manually type in, check i have it correct and then type "Optout". Please just leave people that unsubscribe alone - we unsubscribe because we don't want to hear from you. Whereas before i may have popped in for a browse to your stores as I passed, now i will actively avoid.

I’ve purchased brooks brothers dress shirts for my employees when they receive a promotion for nearly 10 years. And we always do a presentation of the shirts when we get them the shirts. The last 2 times this has happened the shirts have been incorrect and late. I ordered using the 2 day shipping option and I’ve had issues the last 2 times. The last time it happened, I over looked it and moved on. We just placed an order and it said 2 day shipping. From the day I ordered it until the day I receive it. It’ll have been 6 days. I called customer service. And they told me they can get a new order out for me and it will be here tomorrow. But it’ll cost me another $35 to ship it and have fed ex deliver on Saturday. Wow. Customer service has really gone downhill. 10 years. 10 years of short purchases. And this is how it ends. Thanks for the disappointment Brooks Brothers.

The shirts at Brooks Brothers used to last for years. Now, the elbows are tearing out left and right (literally) in weeks. I'm going to have to look for better quality shirts because the ones they have now are just falling apart.

I've noticed a big drop off in sweater quality as well. Is it time to move on?

On 2/17/19 I bought a dress trouser and today 3/6/19 they told me that I have to waite one more week because the taylor is in vacation.

I am a mid-30's professional and I almost exclusively wear non-iron type shirt to work, so you would think Brooks Brothers would be a main stay in my closet. Wrong. They might be ok when shopping in person, but they are the bottom of the barrel when its comes to online shopping (which as a millennial, online makes up ~ 90% of my shopping). First, the pictures online rarely match the product you actually receive. Second, they have cancelled my orders before because they sold me a product they actually didn't have in stock. Third, they make you pay return shipping even if the product doesn't match what is pictured online.

If you're online shopping, do yourself a favor and go to a retailer that actually gets online ordering and returns. CTshirts is one of my favorites and are head and shoulders above the likes of Brooks Brothers.

Our favorite store and staff is at the Madison Avenue location in Manhattan, New York City. Brooks Brothers has been apart of our family wardrobe our entire life. We are very pleased. The golden fleece brand experience and quality is amazing. So many of the pieces stay looking great for generations. Our collection has grown over time. It is a joy to wear reasonably priced high quality items that last. We look forward to future design collections. Have a super day in the land of the living. Later.

Brooks Brothers used to represent service. My husband wanted to buy 3-4 dress shirts and trousers at this Tyson Corner location, but the young salesman in a polo could not be bothered, while two older salesmen in jackets/ties serviced one other customer and messed with a cash register. The store wasn't crowded. We looked and waited for 10 minutes and finally left. End of a long tradition, so disappointed.

Brooks built its market on quality and life-time service for repairs at no cost. Recently I called the customer service number to find out where to send a blazer for relining. I could have been talking Klingon. After three reps I got a manager who advised. "We do not reline." Ever? "We do not reline." I called a retail store with a tailor asking the same thing. Same response. I am a customer for 60 years. Not any more.

Brooks Brothers is cutting corners by reducing the pocket size on their dress shirts and reducing the buttons on their arm cuffs to a total of 1 for each cuff including up the arm. There are many dress shirts that do not even have a pocket, so be careful when ordering if you need that pocket. My husband likes to carry his cell phone in his shirt pocket and it barely fits in the current size of pocket on a Brooks Brothers shirt. I have recently ordered from 4 different shirt makers and Brooks Brothers is the only one with a small pocket on the shirt and no button on the arm of the cuff. They are probably losing our business for men's shirts because of the smaller pocket size.

I have written customer service 5 emails since December and no response to any. I have been a loyal customer for 20 yearS. I am stopping.

I tried shipping an item to Canada, expecting an import fee of 18%. Now that my package is at the border I'm finding out that it was SHIPPED FROM CHINA, and Canadian imports charges 33% IN DUTIES. Totally unexpected! And what does Brooks Brothers have to say about this when I called? "The country of origin is printed on the product label". Not very helpful if I don't have the label in front of me when deciding on the purchase. So, in the words of the Brooks Brothers customer service representative "WE DO NOT RECOMMEND SHIPPING TO CANADA"

Molto giovanilismo, stile molto "italiano", cioè attento più all'immagine che alla sostanza. I negozi italiani della Brooks Brothers sono inavvicinabili: sembrano riservati solo a giovani miliardari, alti e belli. Chiaramente, c'è ora un management che sta sbagliando tutte le mosse e temo che presto arriverà la resa dei conti, quando i bilanci non potranno più nascondere le forti perdite che a mio avviso sono inevitabili.

I started buying Brooks Brothers shirts more than ten years ago. Great experience: fast shipping, great cotton shirts, often discounted prices. From a few years, however, only negative experiences. There are emails announcing discounts, but, at the "chekout", the discount is not applied. The classic style that has made the fortune of the company is gradually abandoned in favor of more "fashionable" lines. Very juvenile, very "Italian" style, that is more attentive to the image than to the substance. The Brooks Brothers' Italian shops are horrible: they seem to be reserved only to young beautiful billionaires. I think that there is now a management that is wrong all the moves and I fear that soon will come the day of reckoning, when budgets can no longer hide the substantial losses.

I used to love Brooks Brothers. I'd think twice before buying from this brand. You're paying a premium for non-premium service. This is the email I had to send tonight:

Good, quality suits for a reasonable price, compared to the Italian grands. The instore experience could be better, as I had an assistant who has treated me differently, before and after the purchase intention was shown. Cant flaw the suits quality, though.

Not only is BB another company that sells almost all self promoting merchandise, the quality of their clothes are not up to par. Of all the items I've bought there they have all fallen apart in the span of a few weeks. Only to mention there pricing is way too much for what you're buying. Though, due to my first horrible experiences I have not shopped there recently, so maybe it's improved..

Returning a product did not work out at all. The customer service, which i tried to contact several times in numerous ways, did not answer me at all. So be sure when you order something that it fits perfectly, since returning an international order is not an option.

I purchased a wallet for my husband on Brooks Brothers website last November. When my order arrived in the mail, the item I received was not the item photographed and advertised on their website. I contacted their CS immediately to let them know that I had received the incorrect item and would like to receive the item I paid for.

I received an email stating that they had made an error and the photograph online was of an old edition of this wallet and the item photographed was no longer available. The representative then stated that they would work to resolve the issue by photographing the correct item and replacing the photo online. I was also offered a 15% discount for the error and accepted.

At the time of my purchase and the time I contacted Brooks Brothers, there was only one wallet in a cognac color. This is the item which I purchased.

As I went to leave a review of my experience with the wallet and the company, I went to their website, found the product page to leave my review. I was extremely disappointed and surprised to see that not only was the incorrect photograph still online (after 2+ months), they now added a variety of different colors of this same, incorrect wallet!

I left my review stating that the item is decent quality, but that I was concerned with the fact that I was lied to regarding the wallet and the image of the counterfeit item still remained on the website. I cautioned buyers that they may not actually receive the item as pictured, as it had happened to me.

I submitted my review and receive notification shortly thereafter that it had been received and would be moderated. Tonight, I received an email notification stating:

I'm guessing that Brooks Brothers, in leu of really taking a proper image of the item (which is a much cheaper version of the one they have photographed and are falsely advertising on their website) they would rather lie to their customers and false advertise a $100 wallet just to make a buck.

This was my first and last purchase with Brook's Brothers and I will never recommend this company to anyone and will continue to let all of their current and future customers how terrible of a company they are.
