Entered a competition to win a booth for my wedding and had a text to say they’d sent me an important email regarding the competition. Received no email and had no response from the company when asking about this. Looked at past comments on their Facebook and it seems this happens a lot, so doesn’t appear to be a trustworthy company and certainly not one id trust with something as important as my wedding.

We used boothiy for our wedding reception, all our guests loved it and we’ve got so many photos to help us remember our special day. We received the set up the day before with easy to read instructions inside. Our wedding was a Friday and they collected the set up on the Monday. Their responses to messages were very prompt. We would definitely recommend them :)

Everything about ordering and returning the photo booth was fuss-free and easy, as was the assemblage on the morning of our wedding.

Despite the booth and printer appearing slightly tatty and taped together (not too bothered considering the excellent bargain!) our guests enjoyed using it and applying filters and animations.

There was a slight delay in receiving our images, but the follow-up communication from the company was great and we'd definitely consider using BoothIY again.

Wanted a photo booth for our wedding but prices seem to be extreme. Found BoothIY for a fraction of that cost. Was extremely easy to set up and organise delivery and collection. We all had so much fun using it and even more fun viewing the pictures after the event. Would definitely recommend and will be using again for upcoming events. Thank you BoothIY.

We booked BoothIY for our wedding on 3rd September and I am so happy that we did! The booth was delivered to our venue via DPD the day before the wedding for us to set up and then was collected from us on the Monday after we had packed it all away. Service was great and the booth was very easy to set up and operate during the night! Our guests loved the fact they could print their photos or send them directly to their phones with airdrop or email. We had so many positive comments from our guests and it was so lovely receiving the photo gallery via email a few days later whilst we were on honeymoon!

We LOVED our photobooth! It was so easy to set up and the photos turned out great! Everyone had a great time using it and could send their photos straight to their phones! It was a great laugh looking through the gallery of everyone’s photos! A great way to get photobooth quality photos without the hassle

Found Boothiy online when we were researching for photo booths for our wedding. They had good offers and prices which included extra prints. The booth arrived at the time requested and was easy to set up in the morning. The guests loved using it during the day and kept the print outs as a memento. Would definitely recommend if looking for a photo booth which has great quality for a good price!

We used BoothIY for our wedding in July. I booked it when they were running an offer so got a free upgrade for more prints (yay!) The kit was delivered the day before and I was able to select it so that it arrived pre-noon which was handy as I had appointments to get to. The set up was simple however the printer stopped a couple of times due to limited signal at times - an oversight on my side, I’d suggest you check that the internet it good in the room you are planning to set it up. As the photo strips print two copies on each page we got guests to cut them in half and stick one in our guest book and the other they took home as a momento which they loved. After the event we packaged everything back up and dropped it off at our local ParcelForce depot. I had to complete a form with photos showing everything in the crate and it being dropped off which was a bit long-winded but it meant that I had proof I had done everything my end incase anything went wrong before it was returned back to BoothIY. The only thing I would change is having all of the photo personalisations pre-set as there wasn’t time for us to set this up on the day.

Brilliant photo booth and loved the fact we got resent all the pictures digitally too.

Boothiy sounds like a good idea but isn't as straight forward as it sounds.
Once the company have your money the customer service is awful. I used the wattsapp service to make sure I'd filled in a form correctly and asked about the upgrade page. The response was so rude and blunt that I actually wanted to cancel my order but I'd paid in full.
I paid extra as an upgrade for the booth to be delivered the Friday morning by 12 but it got delivered the Saturday about 3 hours before the wedding. Meaning a guest had to set it up. I never got my refund for the upgrade I didn't receive even though I emailed and asked. They Also tried charging me an Additional £120 as they tried to collect the booth on the Monday but I wasn't home? Only when I told them I actually have CCTV did it get sorted that actually no collection was even attempted.
On the night the booth was easy to work until around 10pm when it stopped printing. As it arrived so late in the day we didn't have time to familiarise ourselves with the booth and tbh your not going to message the rude wattsapp number at 10pm asking for help on your wedding evening.
Overall they lack customer service but the booth itself is easy to use and prints fun photos.

Great service, very easy to put up and put away. Pleased I got this for our wedding guests had a great time using it!

Such a brilliant idea! We loved our photo booth and so did our guests. A brilliant way to capture the fun. Easy delivery and collection to the venue, easy to set up and use. Some great photos and memories.

BoothIY was so easy to use and our guests loved it! It arrived before the event and came with setup instructions which were so easy to follow. There was one hiccup during the night where the ipad locked however we contacted the team via WhatsApp and they responded straight and the problem was sorted in no time. We received our images a gifs a week later and it was so nice to look back and see our friends and family enjoying themselves with the props and different poses. Return the photoboth was simple as well. All in all a great experience and I would 100% hire them again.

The customer service before our wedding day was excellent, the delivery and collection was easy but that’s as far as my good experience goes,
The iPad didn’t work the way it was supposed to as we was all upside down in the photo we read the instructions and did as instructed but no luck so we had to kneel down to all get in and turn the iPad sideways.
The stand was broken and the iPad just flopped down to the floor.
The printer stopped working and just kept coming up with an error message so we just had the photos sent to us.
I have tried to contact this company on many occasions our wedding was June 18th and to this day no one has replied or acknowledged any of my emails and messages.
Poor customer services and poor quality item.
I would not recommend.

This photo booth was such a great hit not only with the adults, the children loved it aswell, it was really easy to set up and use, loved the way you could make your own gif and it was so fun doing the 4 pics it took

I came across boothiy online and thought it was such a good price it was worth a gamble for our wedding day… and wow. The booth came the day before and although our technical skills were not brilliant at setting it up we managed it! All the guests LOVED it ( especially after a few Proseccos). The booth was easily packed up after, returned and the photos were sent to everyone and ourselves. We really enjoyed having this and would highly recommend this to everyone!

Overall the experience was good. The booth arrived in time and was really easy to set up and everyone had fun using it.

Saw Boothiy through an offer on Facebook and read some reviews and it seemed too good to be true… after scouring the internet and realising conventional photo booths were either unavailable or out of our price range I decided to enquire about this DIY photo booth that means you have it for unlimited time at your event (unlike having to pay £200+ for only 3 or 4 hours with other companies).
Realising they have WhatsApp as a main source of communication was a bonus as they were quick to reply and seemed very friendly and willing to help. That all seemed to change once we’d actually booked a package.
A lot of the problems I then had would have quite easily been solved had I been able to call someone and speak to some directly as oppose to email or WhatsApp however this is not a service they offer. I had accidentally over ordered on extra prints as my original email receipt did not show the prints purchased and in the lead up to the wedding as the bride I’d got confused and forgetful. Awaiting up to 5 working days for an email response and being told the WhatsApp contact was purely for “emergencies” when you had their equipment on hire (funny how when I had yet to spend any money they were mooooore than happy to converse via WhatsApp) only added to my stress in the lead up to the most important day of my life so far. Eventually I heard back from Tom after I’d sent 3 emails demanding a faster reply as our event was fast approaching and I had questions that needed to answered before the event (again, would have been so simple and easily solved over the phone) they did very kindly cancel and refund the extra set of prints but the stress in waiting for a response was not worth it.
Delivery of the booth was simple and straightforward but then it came to the set up; the stand the iPad was attached to was warped and was therefore very difficult to adjust the height but we eventually managed and got it up and running.
The booth itself was a huge hit with our guests and some people we couldn’t drag away from it! We did have minor issues with printing during the night but my bridesmaids had been briefed on how it worked and knew the printer through our line of work so that made things easier and a bit smoother. We loved receiving all the prints post event electronically too it’s just such a shame that the build up and lack of customer service in the lead up to the event was so disappointing and only added to our stress when as the bride and groom you want your suppliers to put you at ease. Would not recommend this company in future as it became more hassle than it was worth in the end.
