Awful!
Ordered a booth and honestly should have trusted the reviews after.
When booking I had confirmation right away.

On the build up I had another email to pay the balance off which I done. Then another email followed in regards to filling forms out and if they weren’t filled out the booth would be cancelled. I filled these forms 3/4 times before they saved and I stopped getting constant email reminders.
Tried to contact the company about this and I was just met with ‘emails will be responded too’ although it never was.
The WhatsApp was only for technical faults even though I was being informed to contact them via WhatsApp - it was a shambles.

Then comes the delivery of the booth; we’re told to make contact within 1 hour of delivery if there is any users. Given the fact this was the day before my wedding of course I was busy. They also state to nominate someone to be the person to set the booth up and then contact them with problem - I don’t this and my poor maid of honour had so many issues. No replies on emails, WhatsApp was technical issues only and wouldn’t respond. Managed to find a single contact number online for them however it wouldn’t ring.

The booth arrived, FILTHY, old thread hanging off the beck drop. Old cello tape on the back drop.
Nothing to even stand the backdrop up - it was just embarrassing and absolutely not something I wanted displayed on my wedding day.

When contacting the company and eventually getting a reply I was informed ‘what has the back drop got to do with it - we could have still used it’ 🙄

I returned the item unused and asked for refund, of course I didn’t get one!
The iPad itself was not removed from the box and was returned having not been used.

As they have denied my refund I have decided to take further action and escalate this with my bank (providing picture of the booth) and also the fact I have the online log in which shows not a single picture taken on my wedding!

Awful awful service.
Do not use - go elsewhere and save yourself the stress and disappointment!

So we booked a very long time ago about a year ago, and even then customer service just didn't exist the "helloboothiycom!" email just would never reply, When using the bot on their site, it says to contact WhatsApp, I would contact WhatsApp, I was told the WhatsApp was Technical services only, I even showed the person that the chat told me to contact you, I got the reply saying " the help guides on our website or the customer service team as advised" -_-, the guide has no information on what I need.

On the day the iPad switched off then asked for a code, In the middle of the wedding we just didn't have time to fix this as the day is limited as it is.

How can you make such a system where you can't speak to anyone, we had our wedding on 03/08/23 but still no photos, there is nothing on the help guide that says what to do when your photos don't come through. I paid £150 for a service that I did not get, my only option is Citizens Advice.

I just can't recommend this.

Booth itself was a good addition to the day but the organisation was not ideal. Online forms seemed overly complicated, had to download an app and upload my passport just to get it delivered. Upgraded for timed delivery day before but missed the one for pick up so had to organise the key days around the wedding just for the photobooth. Was fairly easy to set up and guests had a good time using it, with all the photos sent after online.

We hired the pod for our wedding and everyone had so much fun using them and especially getting to take a copy home with them! The picture quality is amazing and set up and return was really simple! Would definitely use again for any future parties thanks

We used Boothiy to hire a Simple Booth for our wedding on the 27th May, and were really pleased with our experience. The booth was easy to set up and use, and our guests absolutely loved it- it added a real sense of fun to the day and was one of the highlights of our reception which are still getting complimented to this day. The only part of our experience which could have been improved was that it would have been great to have received a confirmation email to state that all parts of the screening process had been completed & that our booth was ready to go, as the ID check part of the booking process is a bit complicated to use and it is hard to know whether you have passed the checks or not. However, I would still wholeheartedly recommend Boothiy as their product is by far the best photo booth experience I found at this price point during my wedding planning process. Thank you for all the pics and memories- we will treasure the images of our family & friends forever!

Delivery and collection of the booth were quick and easy. The set up of the booth was also very quick and easy. The booth was really easy to use and everyone had a great time using it! It was a great souvenir for people to take home with them, either having printed the images or having used the text/ email/ airdrop function. Would definitely recommend!

Brilliant communication, easy to sort, easy to add on any extras, seamless experience from start to finish and everyone loved it!

Easy to set up and follow instructions.
Any issues were able to be sorted quickly.

We can’t recommend Boothiy enough, the whole process was relatively straight forward and for a good price. We had looked at other photo booths but they are not only expensive but we didn’t like the limited time it was available. With this DIY set up we got 24hrs so plenty of time for our guests to get pictures throughout the day. We went with the all in package but didn’t end up using the background or props as we had our own. The printer looks easy to use and maintain but we didn’t set this up in the end either. Guests didn’t seem to mind not having them to take away on the day but it is useful having the option. Delivery, unpacking, set up, packing and collection were all really easy as well so overall we’re very happy.

Such a great company to deal with from start to finish.

Easy procedure for booking. Arrived with set up instructions. Good to assign someone to be in charge of set up at your event, so you can just enjoy using it with your guests!
Was collected after the event and had a great time seeing all the photos everyone else had taken as well.

Really great set up. Unfortunately the backdrop didn't hold up in our venue (got pink sparkle) it was just to heavy for the blue tac. Otherwise great to use, easy enough for everyone to use, and the printing function added to memories. Family and friends had a lot of fun throughout the evening of our wedding. Delivered on time, and thankfully was able to get a family member to drop it off the next day!
I would say its a shame that the pictures are not sent straight away to those asking for them on the night. Guests then got sent the whole gallery 2 days after the event and I had to wait.

Super quick and easy process, instructions are really easy to follow. We loved that it also didn’t take up a huge amount of space too at our venue, photos came through really quickly too

What a brilliant service this is so easy to arrange for delivery direct to my wedding venue and drop off at local post office after. It was super easy to setup and brilliant fun to use for me and all the guests.
Really good printing the photos off as taken and the added option to email it directly to people!

Photo Booth was ordered for our wedding and it was very straight forward easy to set up and everyone had a great time using it !! Great bit of kit for any celebration

Good communication, easy to set up and use. Everyone had fun with our photo booth.

Only downside was - wasn't told the back drop had no frame or anything to help out it up.

The booth is super easy to use and was a huge hit with our guests! We had a few little issues with delivery being late and the printer not working but delivery was sorted and we received it in time for it to be set up and enjoyed using it.
Edited after - we were promised individual photos and never received them. They cut off our contact to them so we couldn't ask for them again.

I saw boothiy on fb and thought this was a great idea, and also at a fair price, I booked the cheaper package had confirmation, through then decided later that I wanted to add extras to my package it was so easy to do, it turned up, I was notified the whole time when it was to arrive, it was boxed packed all was carefully packed and you also got photos of it all before hand, instructions all in side, we did have an issue with the plug on the day of the wedding it wasn't charging properly and the ipad lost all battery and we couldn't re open the app so had to message the help number given to re activate, it was all sorted and back on track within 20 minutes everyone enjoyed even the staff were joining in which we thought was hilarious, well worth the money and a great little added feature for you and guests 😀

The Photo Booth was easy enough to set up it came on time and well packaged up the collection was nice and easy to do to and the photos were available within a week so overall was very impressed with the service as I was kept updated with the progress of my order at all times thank you

This was a trusty affordable option for anyone looking to have a photo booth the family and friends loved it at our wedding reception especially all the kids!

Only issue was mine came with an old instruction process with the wrong help contact number on and so on the day trying to set it up the iPad had died and when rebooting it needed a passcode and activation. The number on the pack was old so threw me off however a quick message to the Facebook page and someone got back to me with a different contact number and sorted everything within 5 mins so very handy.

The iPad on the day also was filtering some of the photos automatically when we didn’t click that option and the light attachment would only stay on for a few seconds luckily though we didn’t need it at our venue.

Overall for the cost of this and the ease of being able to do everything yourself and have no worry about time frame on your occasion this has to be one of the best Photo Booth options out there!! Highly recommend and have suggested to some other guests who came to our day! Would use again for sure!
