The men who work here are all SCAMMERS was sold 2 cars which were both duds. As the fist one had to be returned several times and they refused to give me my money back The second one I took to a PROPER garage for examination and found that BIRCHWOOD and the other con artist MASONS (as they are both linked ) has REMOVED the engine warning light on my car and when plugged in found 15 SERIOUS fault with the car. It also NEVER had an engine mount and I have had to fork out £2000 to put right what they would not. I am now seeking legal advise to sue this men as they put my life and my small child’s life at risk. They are ANIMALS and should be DISGUSTED WITH THEM SELVES

Called up about a Peugeot Boxer and got a good in depth description of the history from a gentleman called Royden. He was honest in his talk highlighting the few negatives and with those in mind, the van was still an excellent deal. I saw the van that day and felt confident it was a good buy. Had it a week and been lovely. Lee handed over the van to me and arranged my vehicle tax. Really nice to do business with nice honest people, that was my experience. I would recommend them for sure.

From the first phone call I had an amazing experience with the staff at Birchwood Motor Centre helpfull all the way through Jamie is a proper true gentleman and professional my Mitsubishi l200 is exactly what he said it was no pressure no stress no problems and drove away a super happy customer can’t praise them enough highly recommend

They sold me a car with mileage discrepancies.
I am extremely disappointed with my experience at Birchwood Motor Centre, and I feel it’s important to warn others before purchasing a vehicle from them.I bought a Toyota Aygo from this dealership in 2023. Only when I later tried to sell the car did I discover that it had a mileage discrepancy dating back to 2014. This issue was clearly visible on the MOT history, yet Birchwood Motor Centre failed to inform me of it at the time of purchase. Had I known, I would never have bought the car.Because of this hidden issue, the car became almost impossible to sell. Potential buyers didn’t trust the vehicle, and I had no accurate idea of its true mileage — all due to information the dealership should have disclosed upfront.When I contacted Birchwood Motor Centre, their response was extremely unhelpful. They told me to go back to the garage that conducted the MOT in 2014 and ask them what happened — an unreasonable suggestion, but I still did it. The garage admitted fault and even offered to write a letter accepting fault, but they couldn’t alter the MOT record or give me an accurate mileage.After presenting this information to Birchwood Motor Centre and submitting a formal complaint, the only “solution” they provided was to buy the car back for just £2,600, despite the fact that I paid £6,000 for it two years earlier. They also claimed they could offer around £300 in compensation, which was completely inadequate given the scale of the issue.I eventually managed to sell the car privately, but Birchwood Motor Centre has not provided any compensation at all and has stopped responding to my emails altogether.Overall, I feel misled, ignored, and taken advantage of. I would strongly advise anyone considering purchasing a car from Birchwood Motor Centre to be extremely cautious and thoroughly check all history themselves — because this dealership clearly does not take transparency or responsibility seriously.
I bought a sprinter van from Birchwood…
I bought a sprinter van from Birchwood . When I initially contacted them the salesman Luke was lovely . As I live in Birmingham I asked him to be totally honest and send me as many pictures as he could as it was so far away. Fortunately for me the MOT expired during our negotiations and so a few jobs had to be done . I arranged with Luke to go down on the train in the Monday. I called on the way to be told they knew nothing about me coming down and Luke was off . It took me 3 hours and when I arrived the van wasn’t available to view. Before travelling I was told it would have a full MOT and all the iobs that needed to be done would be fixed . It would be cleaned , the seat sewn and ready for inspection. Jamie was the sales person there when I arrived and couldn’t be any nicer . He told me the back brake discs needed doing even though Luke said he had them inspected by two other mechanics to say they were ok . I was happy that was being done . I arrived around 1.30 and Jamie said the van would be available to view before it got dark at 3 pm . I sat there in the office waiting . It never arrived until 4.45 pm at which point it was dark . I went for a very quick drive and tried to inspect it under the light . The back was absolutely filthy inside included the cab . It smelt of oil , the seat hadn’t been repaired as promised and it hadn't even ben cleaned . Jamie just kept blaming Luke . Mechanically it seemed fine so I decided to go ahead once it had been cleaned. They took it round the back and some foreign workers jet washed it . I wasn’t very happy the state it was .It was gone 7 when I left and the weather was awful . Jamie never explained anything about the workings of the van and once he had my money , his attitude changed . The next day I inspected the van in day light to find out all the paint work was yellow , the roof was plastered in gunge and muck, wires had been cut in the back so none of the manufactured lights worked and there were 6 holes in the roof . I am cake maker and wedding planner and knew the van wasn’t quite right but had I been given the chance to inspect it properly and not lied to by Luke I would not have bought it. Luke said he had a dent man sort the little dents out but hey had not been done . They are still there . To get the body work to anything acceptable I have had to pay £350 to have it mopped as it was so yellow which I never seen in the dark and the old sign writing professionally removed . It cost me £25 just to have the roof cleaned as it was caked on and looked like it had never been cleaned . I had been quoted £350 to have it boarded out but as it was so bad and full of oil it cost me £600 to get it clean and tidy ready to transport cakes .
As I left in a hurry in the end I unfortunately left my invoice and green slip . I rang the next morning to be spoken to rudely by Jamie . Wow what a charmer he was the day before . Asked about my paper work and mentioned about the holes in the roof , told him how dirty it was and that I was so upset I hadn’t been told about it . He became very rude and aggressive and put the phone down on me . I was told I would receive my paper work in the post but in the interim it would be emailed to me . I received the email but still no paperwork .I called Luke two days later to ask if my paper work had been sent to receive the same bad attitude as Jamie . Now they have my money customer service doesnt exist . What a bunch of cowboys .They are unprofessional and very rude . I contacted Luke on the 28th December to be told he wasn’t in work . I have had no paperwork from the DVLA or know whether it has been transferred into my name . I feel very let down by them and being on a very tight budget I have had to spend another £ 1000 to get it looking anything decent. Had I known how bad the body work and inside was I would never have gone to there . I may as well have paid a little more to start with and not had all the stress and hassle . Luke knew how important it was for me to have clean van yet lied just to get a sale . Very disappointed
Fast forward to 20 days after purchase , I still have not received my invoice or V 5 they promised to send . I called and spoke to another salesman dean today Sunday 3 rd January who informed me it was still there and not even been sent of to the DVLA . I have a private plate that I wanted to put on it but now it’s over 14 days I am going to have to pay for the change of registration with my insurance . They have cost me extra for the boarding as the floor was so bad , repair to the roof as there were holes in it , £25 to have the roof cleaned as it was so black and £350 to have the paint worked mopped as it was yellow , so I have spent over £1200 just getting the van presentable . As a cake maker Luke knew how important it was for the van to be clean and tidy and yet he lied over and over again and covered up things

Have tried countless times to contact the garage and very rarely get a response back, they will occasionally respond after contacting 10+ times in a row, and responses aren’t helpful anyway.
Have had so many issues with the car and no attempt from the garage to solve any of them. Really fed up now!

Really really excellent service from Birchwood Motors. I dealt with Royden who is truly a credit to the company, while I was on holiday and he was brilliant from start to finish, no waiting as soon as i put my enquiry in he called me and got things moving any questions or anything I needed at any time he was there to answer and assist! I recieved my car today and it is immaculate and exactly as described.
If you are in the market for a new car I wouldn't be looking anywhere other than Birchwood Motors! I will 100% be back in the future for my next car!

Got a vauxhall astra 1.4 2019 turbo
Got a vauxhall astra 1.4 2019 turbo. There was a lot of problems getting into gear and had the hydraulic clutch bleed air out of the system.
Lot of black residue in the reservoir for clutch fluid.
Was told that the clutch master cylinder was replaced but still have to pump clutch pedal to operate proper gear changes.
Got another mechanic to have a look, and he said that the original vauxhall master cylinder is probably still on the car from new.
Won't go back to Birchwood motor as never got an invoice to say work on the master cylinder was actioned.
Definitely don't trust Kelvin.
Just to add, I have an independent mechanic changing the clutch master cylinder and he finds 3 bolts are missing from around the master cylinder.

I recently purchased a 2018 Mazda CX-5 from Birchwood Motor Centre. I am thrilled with my decision to buy this vehicle that ticks all the boxes.
The car is in excellent condition, but unfortunately, just a few days in, I noticed a minor electrical issue with the front passenger seat. I reached out to Jamie, who was incredibly responsive. He quickly arranged for the car to be picked up from my home, repaired, and returned to me. I cannot emphasize enough how impressed I am with this level of service. It is truly remarkable!
Jamie and his team's dedication to providing my car with a comprehensive bumper-to-bumper service has instilled in me complete confidence in their dealership. I have already praised them to friends and family, and I will certainly return for my future purchases. Kudos to an outstanding team!

Me and my son went to Birchwood Motor…
Me and my son went to Birchwood Motor Centre this morning to look at a new car for my son. He spotted a car he liked so we went in and had a chat with Luke who was super helpful and gave us the keys to look inside the car and have a test drive. My son loved the car and we went into the office with Luke who went through all the finance and fine details with us.
I’ve never had such a great/smooth experience buying a car.
Luke really was different class. No pressure while we were looking around either which is rare.
They also gave us a reasonable price for my son’s old car which helped massively.
Couldn’t recommend Birchwood motor centre enough.
If you’re looking for a new car get yourself down there and have a chat with Luke he will sort you out.
One star is generous
I am extremely disappointed with the service I received from Birchwood Motor Centre. I placed a deposit on a vehicle, under the clear expectation that it would be secured for me. However, despite this, the dealership went ahead and sold the car to someone else without informing me.
To make matters worse, when I asked if the car was ready, I was falsely told that it had an issue with the boot and was booked into Kia for repairs. This was clearly a lie, as the car was then sold to another customer. Such dishonest behaviour is completely unacceptable and demonstrates a serious lack of professionalism and integrity. Additionally, I was promised a loan car until another vehicle was sourced, yet when I asked about it, this promise was not upheld.
This situation has left me without a car, which has been incredibly difficult given that I have a young family. The lack of accountability and care shown by Birchwood Motor Centre has caused significant inconvenience and stress, and I would strongly caution others against trusting them.
A deposit should mean that the vehicle is reserved, and it is disgraceful that I was misled and ultimately left without the car I had committed to purchasing. I strongly urge potential buyers to exercise caution when dealing with Birchwood Motor Centre, as their business practices do not honour commitments made to their customers. I will be taking this matter further to ensure others are aware of their conduct.

I Was dreading the purchase of a new car, but after finding something I liked at Birchwood, I found the team there an absolute pleasure to deal with, and they made the purchase a pleasurable experience. Jamie and Dean really looked after us. No pressure sales here gave me the keys and allowed us to spend as much time as we needed on our own just driving around the car drome. After the viewing, Jamie gave us a lift home, how kind! Upon purchase, they even filled the car with petrol before I took delivery. The car (Renault Kadjar) is lovely and with a year warranty, worry-free, but above all, the service is absolutely fantastic. Thank you, Jamie and Dean.

After welcoming our newborn in December 2023, we opted to buy a car on finance, thinking it would be the safest choice for our growing family. Unfortunately, our experience with Birchwood was far from ideal. The vehicle we purchased was faulty and broke down multiple times, even after several attempts to fix it (authorised by Birchwood)
As a mother of three, driving this unreliable car filled me with fear. Despite our persistent efforts to get the dealership to address the issue, Birchwood continually delayed and eventually ignored our communications. The situation caused significant stress, and after a lengthy struggle and legal intervention, we finally won the rejection case. However, we received no compensation for the costs and inconvenience endured. It took six months to resolve this issue.
