SGD2.00 was paid out for a medical claim of SGD383.65
AXA could have done better in reviewing their claim cases as I was being reimbursed only SGD2.00 for a claim of SGD383.65. I have to find ways to communicate further with AXA on the same case number to inform them the details of my claim although the same drug was already reimbursed back in February 2026 without questions asked by AXA. Eventually, AXA reimbursed my claim almost fully since my drugs and dressings cap in my policy was already reached. I am not sure who was the initial staff in AXA who went through this claim and approved the claim, but he/she could have done better.

I am a geriatric, 77 years old. There is nothing do demeaning as entire industries telling you that you are TOO OLD, you are only fit to suffer from dementia and sit still and die.
That is the insurance business, especially for travel and overseas healthcare.
EXCEPT AXA!
Their customer service is truly excellent, there is no question that they cannot answer or problem that they cannot find a solution for.

Customer service team is proactive helpful. The claim is settled quick.
One matter, the bank account i given previously has been closed. I cannot make change to the saved bank account number directly.

Worked well both home and abroad
I have contacted Axa for care when abroad for a simple issue and in UK for something requiring a specialist referral and found them very responsive each time whether by phone or email. appointments were punctual and summaries quickly and transparently available - I have been impressed by all of my interactions.
