Very bad experience
Very long, unjustified delay. We stood 6 annd half hours waiting in the airport. The airport could not communicate with the company for several hours, no explicit explanation was given. Many passengers called and they didn't received an answer. The staff was even angry that the passengers were criticizing them. Very bad experience and communication, i don't recommend.

The worst airline ever - cancelled flight without any notification!!!
I was not informed about my flight cancellation that happened months in advance, and I only found out about it the previous day before my flight by calling customer service. The alternative flight they arranged wasn't a regular flight; it was a 'standby' ticket, which I only discovered during check-in. Due to overbooking and my ticket status (standby), my flight was not guaranteed. I was stranded at the airport and tried to contact customer service, but they offered no help whatsoever. Furthermore, they deducted less baggage than what was stated on my original ticket, and they refuse to accept this. I had to pay an extra fee for this, and they haven't refunded it. Their customer service representatives can't even speak proper English! I had to explain the situation 6-7 times at the airport. They even take a week to respond to my emails and still haven't helped me. I would never, ever recommend this airline. They are completely unreliable!!!

Ho volato con animawings per andare dalla Turchia alla Romania e l’esperienza è stata deludente.
Continuavano a posticipare l’orario (era alle 17:55, l’hanno rimandato alle 18:55, poi ancora alle 19:30, e di nuovo alle 21:30, e infine l’hanno anticipato alle 20:30, però alla fine siamo partiti alle 21:30).
La mia famiglia e io stavamo facendo scalo dalla Instanbul a Timisoara e poi andare a Milano, però il volo con animawings era troppo in ritardo e abbiamo perso il volo per tornare in Italia.
Per questo abbiamo dormito in aeroporto (anche se io non ho chiuso occhio), il prossimo volo per l’Italia era il giorno dopo, quindi io ho perso 1 giorno di scuola.
Anche il viaggio é stato penoso, un brutta decollo, che mi ha causato mal d’orecchio e mi ha fischiato per tutto il viaggio, mentre l’atterraggio brusco e violento.
Non viaggerò mai più con questa compagnia.

Flight delays and unneeded "taxi" service
The flight just got delayed for about 2h. Just enough to not be compensated. The company's main site still shows the flight as "on time". No one said/wrote why the delay happened, anywhere. Checking some websites shows no planes from Animawings in the sky. This means they are unable to coordinate their fleet to arrive on time. Last time they diverted to another city to pick up other passengers. Please avoid this company; not worth your time.

My first fly with Animawings from TSR to Istambul and return. Verry nice flyghts, clean airplane, nice space, verry good pilots and nice staff. I strongly recomand them. Impressed by Alina Enache and the way she gave safety instructions, clear and pleasant.

My flight from Sofia to Bucharest was cancelled without previous warning. When I was trying to check in, I realised the flight didn´t exist. I was shocked with the lack of professionalism. I made a claim and got no answer

Our flight was delayed with more than 2 hours, we received as “compensation” a voucher of 10€ wich was actually almost impossible to be used because they had only 3 locations were you had no chance to use them because everything was more expensive than 10€. Such e mizerable thing!

Animawings - a great flight experience
Route: Bucharest – Cluj-Napoca
This was the most comfortable plane I’ve ever flown on. The 3–2 seat configuration provided noticeably more space, making the cabin feel open and uncrowded. During boarding and while waiting for takeoff, the ambient music created a relaxing atmosphere. The aircraft appeared new, was impeccably clean, and the crew was friendly and welcoming. Overall, a very pleasant and enjoyable flight experience.

We booked a flight from Sofia to Bucharest about a month and a half ago, and the airline canceled it without any prior notice — no email, no message, nothing. We only discovered the cancellation when we arrived at the airport.
Because of this, we’re now stuck in Sofia, forced to find alternative transportation at the last minute. We had already booked a tour in Bucharest for the following day, which we’ll now miss — losing both time and money due to the airline’s complete lack of responsibility.
We tried contacting customer service multiple times, but the experience was just as bad. One representative hung up on us, and others were extremely rude and unhelpful.
This has been one of the worst airline experiences we’ve ever had. Do not trust or book with this airline — they are completely unreliable. They even told us lie that the money has refunded already, such a high robbery.

Flight got delayed from Bucharest, no communication from the onground staff. When asked they said that they don't know. Travel from gate to aircraft operated with one bus and priority is for crew, so everyone waits for 20+ mins.
Ground staff is absolutely rude and incompetent!

today 27 October 2025 the Bucharest - Iasi flight was delayed by 3 hours, at which point they already announced another 30 minutes. I hope they don't have any other similar announcements with delays. The check-in staff was very kind. I received a 10 euro voucher for the delay but it is at two fast food restaurants located in the area opposite the gate where I have access. This is the first and last time I use this company. I hope this review is seen by someone who can take action.
