I wrote twice to this company in Basildon asking for information about a part I was trying to locate.
I got the same answer twice from no-reply email:
"Thank you for your enquiry.

Your details have been sent to the appropriate department and a member of our team will be in touch as soon as possible."
Once on the 9th sept 2021 and once on the 5th of October.
I still have not received any sort of reply to my request.
In the meantime I have received multiple emails about my mot being due and my service is due.
This actually shows what two bob company Allenmotorgroup are.
I would advise some retraining in their customer services.
Yes, they are OK when you just want a service but any info is seriously lacking.
If you are the sort of person who wishes email requests to be answered, then I would avoid this company. Allenmotorgroup, it is ignorant and rude to not reply to requests. Why? have the request form if you don't intend to answer emails.
They have lost my business, I prefer to deal with companies who have been trained in manners.

Bought a car over 20k that was delivered with missing parts. After lots of emails, phone calls and persuasion they agreed to replace some items but not all.

After 6 weeks they delivered to the wrong address an hour away which they insisted I must collect. Again had lots of emails, phone calls then eventually they agreed to deliver to me but guess what they delivered to wrong address again! This time it was 10 mins away so I collected. No apologies, no compensation just a lot of stress and hassle.

Tried to complain but their customer service is awful - still waiting for a reply 2 weeks later.
Do not buy from Allen Motors!

I bought an outlander 10 years ago, they were a brilliant team. Well I thought they still are not realising that after they got acquired they lost the skills. Many good ones left.
I went to see them few weeks ago with the car's full price ready to buy. I checked out a Vitara second hand with the sales rep. Agreed, paid the £500 deposit and to pick up the car the following week. Upon the delivery data and appointment. I arrived (by taxi) just to be asked to sit and wait and wait. Later on the sales rep told me when they washed the car they found some scratches. Attended the car and it was a mess! and a dent etc etc. I was surprised cos me, the sales rep, and my son checked it out, something dodgy. Anyway what upset me is I called the day before, to check on it, why wasn't I told not to take a day of for it!! the sales rep tried to convince to buff the paint, apparently his no smart manager thought I am going to accept it. Hell no! I asked for my refund and took a photo of the receipt, yes photo. Seems these guys wanted my deposit receipt before hand to pay me back. Weird. Can't say how but I had my other proof. after 2 days, the sales rep calls me saying now they want to repair it. Again hell no! I got paid, after few days. Lesson for me: don't go there again, the Mgmt have changed over the years, the professionalism has degraded.
Never again! I purchased a Nissan the same day I had the appointment with smc, took me 1 hour, and have been driving and happy. the paper work and process was quite on the level! it is just a car and have no time to waste on teaching them how to sell, yes I am a sales business consultant I teach sales methodologies, but these guys, believe me, are HOPELESS!
