Family holiday
Easy to book.. response immediately & payment broken up, although a little longer on the balance would suit most families I would imagine. Read all the small print regarding booking extras like bed linen & towels.

Allcamps is an easy to use site with a wide range of campsites. They’ve been very easy to communicate with when needed. Although they organise it so well that you barely need to contact them.

Campsite info only disclosed after booking
Only discovered after booking that the on-site restaurant is closed and the restaurant directly outside the campsite is also closed. This was included at the bottom of the invoice. Why not make this info available on the website to inform people before booking?

You will find the following information on our website±
Due to staffing issues, the restaurant on site, Le Comptoir des Saveurs is currently closed. Restaurant de la Ferme which is just outside the site is also closed. As an alternative, the takeaway is open between 10:30-15:00 and 17:00-23:00 and has a small terrace for dining.The local town of Valras Plage offers lots of different restaurants and beach bars which are accessible by car. There are also restaurants around the parc which are within walking distance.

Butterfly Campsite - PdelG, Lake Garda
Several issues with mobile on arrival; some sorted, others not. Mobile dated, though air con works well; curtains old & faded. Drains smelled very bad at 1st - probably not used since last season, as this dispersed after plenty of draincleaner, bleach bought & used by us. Basic utensils, eg no wine glasses. One mirror in bathroom. Main issue extremely loud intrusive music from neighbouring campsite 85 decibels ‘rave’ music on Friday, 12 July at 10:10pm. This ‘music’ begins very LOUDLY each day from 10am until 11pm; with couple of hours pause each afternoon. Many campervans came & left after 1 night due to excessive noise. We were offered a move initially but then it was withdrawn as our stay was too long (12 nights) to be accommodated elsewhere ☹️. Avoid mobile 88 and any along border with Campeggio Del Garda. Other side of site is much quieter.
