Outstanding service and an amazing villa!
We couldn't be happier with our experience booking through Algarve Vacation for our group of 12. The villa itself was absolutely amazing and the perfect setup for our trip. What really stood out, though, was the level of service. Both the management team and the check-in desk team were incredibly helpful, professional, and welcoming from start to finish. We had constant, open communication with all of our contacts, which made organizing a large group completely stress-free. We are very happy to have been hosted by them and would highly recommend Algarve Vacation to anyone booking a trip!

We had a very pleasant stay in Albufeira, highlighted by our time at Vila Aqua 1, which we booked through Algarve Vacation. The villa and the overall area provided a great base for a relaxing and enjoyable holiday.
From the start, the welcome and explanation from the host were clear and helpful, making check‑in smooth and straightforward. The location of Vila Aqua 1 was excellent, with easy access to Albufeira, beautiful nearby beaches and local amenities, so we could combine quiet time at the villa with trips to the town and coastline. Inside, the villa was very well equipped, and almost everything we needed was available, with just a few small points for improvement that did not affect our overall positive experience.
The surrounding area felt comfortable and convenient, offering a good mix of tranquility and things to do within a short drive. A real highlight of our trip was a boat tour along the Algarve coast, where we could fully enjoy the impressive cliffs and caves from the water, which we would highly recommend to others visiting the region.

Great villa for family or group
Great villa for family or a large group. There was plenty of space, with each room large and spacious and the villa was well equipped. A good location to walk to the strip, supermarkets or get the tourist train. Host was great for booking trips (boat and meal with transfers), booking airport transfers and also travel to zoo marine, very friendly and quick to respond to messages.

Amazing stay at Villa San Marino

A well located property in an up and coming area. Close enough to shops, restaurants etc - without the noise right on your door step (10ish minute walk)
The pool and hot tub were a great hit with the family as we travelled as a family of 4 generations.
The accomodation spread across 3 floors meant those with and without children could spreadout. Plenty of seating, the villa never felt crowded.
We found Algarve Vaction boarding pass easy to use - check in and check out was smooth.
We found the company easy to contact via email or whatsapp, and our enquiries answered swiftly and accuratley.
We had a great week.

We spent a glorious week at Villa…
We spent a glorious week at Villa Atlas, our first full family holiday for over 20 years. We were a party of 10, 8 adults and 2 children aged 7 and 3. The villa was perfect. My husband and I know the area well so we knew that everything would be in walking distance for our very car sick granddaughter which is the main reason that we chose Villa Atlas. Inside, it was spacious, with plenty of seating and kitchen utensils and crockery which was fantastic for us eating in with the kids several times. A really nice touch are the quality beach towels available, thank you for those. I would recommend having the pool heated if you're booked for the start of the season like us. Communication with Olivia and Sandra from Algarve Vacation was superb, in fact we enjoyed it so much that we plan to come back next May. Thank you for a wonderful holiday.

A fuir ! location à des prix très élevés, mais pas de service en face. Oublie de chauffer la piscine mais pas le paiement, panne d'eau chaude dans la villa pendant 3 jours, ménage mal fait, problème d'humidité dans la villa, plusieurs fuites.
Les photos et vidéos sont belles, mais ne reflètent pas vraiment la réalité, il y a un dépôt de chantier d'un coté et un terrain vague de l'autre.

En ce qui concerne la température de la piscine, celle-ci dépend de plusieurs facteurs, tels que le vent et la température extérieure, entre autres. Le système fonctionne en continu pour maintenir la température souhaitée, et l'eau est généralement de 5 à 8 degrés plus chaude qu'elle ne le serait sans chauffage. Cependant, il n'est pas possible de garantir une température constante à tout moment. Cela dit, et en signe de bonne volonté compte tenu des situations que vous avez mentionnées, le coût du chauffage de la piscine vous a été intégralement remboursé.

Algarve vacation do not adhere to contracts via VRBO regardless of any security fees you may pay. We booked a villa for 12 people and were advised of the total cost including a safety deposit of €600 payable a month before arrival. We agreed to this. Shorty after paying the first installment we got a receipt from Algarve vacation to advise we would be charged €200pp (€2400) as a safety deposit rather than the contractually agreed €600. I reached out to Olivia at Algarve vacations who advised regardless of contract and evidence provided at time of booking they would be charging the full some and not the agreed €600.
This has led to us now cancelling and looking elsewhere due to the constant mistakes and changes of price without any agreement.

This policy applies specifically to group bookings and is established to protect both the property and the guests.
All communication provided by our team was informative, professional, and polite. For this reason, we do not understand the description of your experience as “horrendous,” as our team consistently responded to your queries and provided clear explanations regarding the booking conditions.
We are sorry if there was any misunderstanding regarding the deposit policy, but the information was shared with you transparently and in advance. At no point was there any intention to change prices arbitrarily or disregard agreed terms.
We regret that you decided not to proceed with the reservation and that you feel dissatisfied with the outcome. Nevertheless, we remain committed to maintaining clear communication, fair policies, and professional service for all our guests.

Despite its perfect location, Villa Mauritius is greatly overpriced. The Villa is dated, tired and in need of redecoration and repair. There were several Health and Safety issues. The local representative made all the right noises but our complaints were not dealt with. During a two week stay, the Villa was not cleaned and the pool was not maintained.

Algarve vacation hide the fact that they charge a ridiculous amount for "group deposit" ours was €250 per guest with a 2.9% processing fee which you don't get back. The processing fee is on every transaction so you lose a lot of money. This totalled 4K for us, I had to beg them to reduce it as we didn't have a credit card with that high of a limit, it literally kept me awake at night panicking.
Contacting the company is painful, you'll get emails from the same person but who is obviously multiple people (different tones, not remembering previous emails etc) some emails we had were very rude.
We stayed in villa palancar in September. When we arrived we noticed several things wrong, one room had dirty bed sheets, there were lights that didn't work, the hot tubs weren't working (which we did pay for), pool table broken, previous guests had thrown a pair of pants and a towel on the roof. However, the staff came round quickly and fixed these issues.
Other issues, cameras in common areas - not mentioned in the listing, chairs in "dining room" squirted water when you sat on them, massive sofa bed in one room stood up taking up loads of space, broken kitchen cupboards, no lock on one bathroom.
The worst thing was there was one air con unit that had a drip bucket inside the villa! No one told us about this and at the end of the first night water was all over the floor where it overflowed. Its a ridiculous thing to have in the first place. This was caused by an extension being added meaning also one room didn't have windows facing outside, they faced into the villa.
There was also a tiny kitchen which even with one person in felt too many, we couldn't cook in there so had to eat out every night. This and the above just illustrates how little care and upkeep has gone into the villa, its just been made to shove as many people in as possible. It is not suitable for 8 people let alone 20

Firstly, all costs related to bookings, including security deposits for large groups, are clearly disclosed in advance. The security deposit itself is fully refundable after departure provided no damages occur, which was the case with your stay. Guests are also clearly informed, in writing, that a 2.9% processing fee is non-refundable. This information is communicated prior to arrival, and no amounts were withheld beyond what was explicitly agreed.
Regarding communication, your comment came as a surprise, we do not agree with the suggestion that our team acted unprofessionally. All correspondence was handled promptly and with care, with the aim of assisting during the booking of the villa and resolving reported matters during the stay. While we understand that not all your requests could be met, such as reducing the amount the property owners require as safety deposits, or financial compensations, our communication was consistently respectful and service-oriented.
With respect to the property, the villa layout, size, amenities, and common areas are accurately represented in the listing photos and description. Any issues reported during your stay were addressed quickly by our maintenance team, resolved within the first 24 hours. The only exception was the pool table, which had been damaged by previous guests, who departed on the same day as your check-in, and could not be repaired immediately.
Finally, the statement regarding cameras is misleading. The property is equipped with a standard alarm system that includes motion sensors, which are only activated if guests choose to arm the system themselves. There is no active surveillance or monitoring of guests, and privacy is fully respected.
We are always open to constructive feedback, as it helps us improve. However, we believe it is important that feedback is shared accurately and in good faith. We remain committed to transparency, clear communication, and maintaining high standards across all our properties.

We stayed at Villa Abel back in April and whilst the villa was nice there were a lot of issues from blown speakers on the TV, extractor fan broken, lack of kitchen utensils & dirty kitchenware. My main problem is that after leaving a review on their website they haven’t uploaded it to the Villa’s page. I was looking at my next holiday & looked at Algarve Vacation again but realised they hadn’t uploaded the review id left so have steered clear. As others have said about this Villa in particular it’s a lovely setting & well linked it just needs to be cleaned up as the inside doesn’t match the outside.

Horrible experience
Horrible experience. Checked in to Albufeira apt and found out what looks like a king size bed was actually two folding cots, our feet hung over the edge of the bed. Reached out to manager Olivia Grimes many times and they refused to do anything. The photos look nothing like the listing, the balcony has clothelines and you have to lean over the edge to actually see the view. There's a cafe under the terrace where everybody is smoking so impossible to sit outside. The A/C sounds like a washing machine. Book elsewhere, it's awful and the lobby is old and rundown.
