I had a non fault accident in May where as I was hit from behind while stationary, I lost two days off work through a bad back and also shock, I am self employed so tried to claim for this back , I have sent in three years tax submissions and they also want profit and loss accounts as I am self employed, they also asked for recorded voice recordings of me cancelling the jobs as I spoke to the customers? , I have also sent them the details of the customers [ names and addresses but this still not enough as proof and the only other proof I would have is a screenshot of my Excel Calender which I book my jobs in on like most self employed businesses they also asked me for invoices but how can you produce an invoice if the jobs were cancelled ? It seems extremely unfair that after you get hit while stationary you end up losing the time you could have been earning money, I have given up now and told them not to chase for my loss of earnings as I cannot give them any further evidence, I have left numerous messages and not had a reply for days and left messages to ask for a call from my case handler which were not returned for Days and messages on the portal not read for days aswell, finally got a call today and told them to drop the personal losses as it seems impossible to satisfy what proof they are asking for just not worth the hassle, my wife had exactly the same happen to her in 2022 and her company royal and sun alliance sorted it very quickly for her with no problems , I would advise anyone to choose your insurance company very carefully.

Excellent service from Admiral Law, they have been very professional, persistent and you could really feel like they wanted to get the best for you. I had quite a complex claim as the person who hit my car was a Ukrainian lorry driver so that added extra challenges but nothing has phased them out and they have managed to retrieve all the losses I have incurred. My experience with admiral law was terrible from start to finish. My advice would be if you have an accident and they ask if you want admiral law to contact you, say no! Go with your own solicitor. I have been awaiting resolution of a claim for 3.5 years. My car was written off by another person who accepted liability. I was left with no car for over a month. I had to buy a new car seat and go for a medical, which they advised me to do and then I would be able to claim back my losses as well as claim for my injuries which I sustained in the accident. After nearly 3 years of chasing back and forth with no outcome. I was told the other party denied I could have been injured and the only option was to go to court, but if I was found to be lying I would be liable for the costs. I was treated like I was the criminal. When I explained this would be stressful and I didn’t want to go to court, I was told if I pulled out I would have to pay admiral law back the cost of sending me for the medical. I refused and asked for this to be escalated. I was then told they would waive the fee, and pass me over to at least claim all my personal losses. After waiting months again, I was told it’s hard to claim for losses and the only thing they settled on with the other party was the cost of my car seat, which I have been out of pocket of for 3.5 years! Poor customer service and poor service overall. May I add admiral insurance I have always found helpful
It is the admiral law that has been terrible.

Connor was very receptive to my request, helpful in setting me up on the portal and gave clear instructions on the next steps. The portal has been easy to use so far.

The case handler Elizabeth ensured that I was kept closely informed of all developments regarding my case in a timely manner. There was no need to chase her for updates. This eased some of the associated anxiety and was very reassuring.

Could not be happier with the service from Admiral after my car was crashed into. Really helpful customer service agents, arranged my repairs and hire car really quickly. Very satisfied

I’ve had a lovely experience and the lady over the phone was patient whilst taking details and information over the phone in relation to the accident I was involved in. The claims process is till ongoing but I’m confident that all will go well based on the call I’ve received today.

Keely was very patient. She answered all my questions. Going through an accident is a very traumatising and stressful time, especially as a young person with their first accident. Keeley was paitent and took time to go through all my questions.

Any necessary forms were easy to complete. Arrangements were made for me to see a medical examiner to check out any injuries that occurred and i was informed of progress of claim by regular updates
