Good customer service from Naomi

Cancelled my policy - despite me giving them all the information requested - then took more money from my account.

Rang them got cut off after 18minutes of being on hold- rang back - when I finally got through (after being on hold a total of 32minutes) was told I was connected to the wrong department. Was told they would ring me back ASAP so I didn't have to wait.... 6 hours later still hadn't rung me- so I contacted them and sat waiting again- with the most awful hold music.

No apology from customer services for keeping me waiting. Nor for the rude way in which I was dealt with.

Customer service is rubbish. Still no clarity as to why my policy was cancelled.

WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!

EDIT- now they’re wanting to charge me MORE money… they cancelled my policy claiming I lied on my application- even though I have evidence to the contrary and are charging me for the privilege!

Absolutely disgusting service , insured my sons car for him to learn to drive have been stopped 7 times by the police as it has never shown as insured on the MID , sent in all paperwork required , they imputed the incorrect registration to begin with now wanting the same paperwork resending as miraculously not received ( they did ) and still won’t be rectified I would avoid this company at all costs if you value your license

The worth customer service they don’t know what they do , try to call them and waiting almost half hour to respond then they transfer me to customer and after that the phone is off for no reason and try to explain I have two years no claim bonus for normal car and one year with private hire and end of the conversation they said we can do for u with 0 years no claim bonus, how come ?! Then I cancelled the policy and lost almost 120 pound and they want to pay for cancellation fee 58 pound !!! they rubbing people . Be careful with them so they make u pay first the deposit then they ask about documents and how ever y send the documents by email or upload the documents they will no longer expect it .guys don’t be excited about they price !!

Bought this insurance for my 17 year old son, easy to use and lots of help with after care

My experience with A Choice has been extremely disappointing, and I personally would not recommend them to learner drivers.

When I originally took out the learner policy, I didn't realise how difficult and expensive it would become once I passed my test and upgraded to a full licence. In my experience, the price after upgrading was significantly higher than quotes I was able to find elsewhere. I've been paying around £160 a month with a black box, which I found very expensive.

There was also an issue at the beginning where I was charged for both the learner insurance and the full-licence insurance at the same time. It took several days to get this resolved, which was very frustrating.

Now that my policy is finally coming to an end, I'm relieved to be moving on and I won't be taking out another policy with A Choice.

I'd strongly recommend that learner drivers shop around and carefully check what happens to the price and terms when they pass their test. In hindsight, I wish I had compared other options or considered temporary insurance rather than committing to this policy.

I was also unhappy that there was a charge associated with cancelling the policy, and I found my experiences with customer service frustrating.

Fortunately, I never needed to make a claim, so I can't comment on that aspect of their service.

This is based entirely on my personal experience, but unfortunately it has left me very dissatisfied with A Choice. Please do not make the same mistake I did.

Amazing customer service from Shazia, quick to answer the call. Shazia was very diligent, kind and professional. Helped with my query in a timely manner. Pricing was also competitive. Will be sticking with A choice in the future

Very accommodating and explained everything very clearly to me. The price for my renewal was completely fair. Overall no complaints!

I actually thought choice Motor insurance was good and genuine, but I was wrong, their communication skills are terrible, I also found them very inconsiderate and heartless, I made one genuine mistake on my application, by ticking the wrong box and i sincerely mean it, I was absolutely gutted to find out i made such a mistake, at the end of the day we are only human, I would've appreciated it if they'd just got on the other end of the phone and just make me aware of it, I would've been more than happy to cooperate with them whatever I was required to do, instead they were very quick happy to threaten me with cancellation, forcing me to go through the agony of paying an additional £300.00 to seek insurance on the same day. The most frustrating thing for us poor customers who are just about making ends meet, is when some insurance companies jus refuse to meet you half way to try and resolve an issue when we make a genuine mistake. I would be very careful before taking out a policy with choice.

This has to be the most pathetic insurance company i have dealt with in over 30 years, 30 minutes on the phone checking this that and everything else asking questions I've never been asked before. Then after the cancellation period has run out they want proof of address license summaries inside leg measurement. never been asked for any of this before 1 hours worth of work on my part. They are garbage.

Just in reply to your reply below. You know exactly who I am, we had a big enough row and i told you where the 1 star reviews were going. You didnt try to help you just tried to lie to me and ask unlawfully for info after the fact with the threat of cancellation. I dare you to try it.

My experience with my call today, was something some places
Do not make you feel, I felt listened to, treated aa a human.
And genuine wishes on my health returning
Also the understanding to my situation, and the ripple effect it had on my finances.
This is what you hope for, when life is already proving to be a bit hard.
