Rude Customer service
Visited one of the stores in London with my daughter as she wanted to get her ears pierced, spoke to the staff member. she pointed out the samples, while we were looking at the samples, staff member rudely interupted us and tried to get us out of the space because there was another customer, instead of asking us whether we could step aside till she took care of the other customer. Rude customer service.

Had my ear pierced by Tilly B at the Guildford store at The Friary and she was excellent! Really calm, professional and very confident at piercing. She did a great job with really good customer service

I visited the small London Bridge…
I visited the small London Bridge branch with my mother-in-law on her birthday, as she wanted to have a look around. I've always loved Accessorize’s gold jewellery — it truly withstands everyday wear and still looks great! While I generally prefer silver, I asked the in-store team for some guidance.
Polly was incredibly friendly and approachable. She took the time to show me the silver options available and directed me to the right display. She was not only helpful but also genuinely chatty and welcoming, which made the experience even better.
Shahida at the tills was equally fantastic — she helped me link my account and was clearly very knowledgeable about the process.
Thank you both for making our visit so enjoyable. Great service all around!

Amazing experience at The Beacon Shopping Centre last weekend, at the Eastbourne Accessorize store…
I had my ears pierced by the very helpful, calm Afrah, who was the sweetest member of staff.
The stores’s manager Michelle helped talk me through every step of the process and gave me good advice, a very welcoming lady.
A very pretty, clean, bright store with beautiful bags/gifts, jewellery.

I just visited Accessorize at Manchester Piccadilly train station. I was in a rush for a train and needed presents for my wife and children pronto. The lovely Anna came to my rescue and not only helped me choose gifts but helped me save money too. I don’t normally write these type of reviews but she was especially helpful and went above and beyond I felt.

Necklace COMPLETELY ruined after less than 1 month
Very disappointed. I bought a necklace from them on the 13th of August this year , and it’s already COMPLETELY tarnished. The gold has almost completely come off, and I paid £18. It started badly tarnishing after less than 2 weeks, and I wasn’t even wearing it every day!! This is not an acceptable price to pay for a necklace that tarnishes so badly so fast. I have not worn it in water at all, so I cannot see why this has happened other than awful quality. I’ve only worn it normally, I haven’t even sprayed perfume near it as I’m carful with my jewellery always. I should get my money back, as I might as well have thrown it away for this necklace !! My advice is do not buy gold jewelry from accessorise.

Unfortunately I was charged incorrectly for an item in store. The company will not refund you unless you hand over your phone number or create an online account with them. I expressed concerns over both of these methods, not wanting further data to be held on file. I have not received any form of refund and was made to feel as though this was my error despite being charged incorrectly by the company. I have given them opportunity to rectify this, but have received poor customer service and have lost confidence in shopping here in the future.

I requested a voucher for the refund that you legally have to provide me with due to overcharging me for a product, as you would only give me a refund if I created an online account or handed over my phone number - i.e providing personal details which will be held on account by your company against my wishes. Accessorize have not provided an adequate solution for their error.

I wouldn’t purchase from them again. They returned a shirt back to me because the tag had come off when trying on so will not refund me.
Looks like they do this a lot, how they keep customers I do not know.
Don’t even bother replying to me, why don’t you look at your trustpilot score and learn something from that !

REALLY? I cannot believe you think I would return something which I had washed, I have NEVER in my life returned anything that had been washed. UNBELIEVABLE, maybe this is how you make your money by not refunding people’s returns. DO NOT SHOP HERE THEY DO NOT REFUND!

I would not buy anything expensive from this company. I bought shoes on line but they were a tight fit. Because i had taken the tag off because i needed to try BOTH on., they would not give me a refund. Can these on line companies actually get away with this. Its not made obvious on the website that you wont be able to return if the tag is taken off. If it had have been a very expensive item .. and they are expensive idhave contacted consumers advice. I sold on ebay so i got some money back but not the full price. I wont be buying from any of their stores on line or off line.

Accessorize - Cribbs Causeway, Bristol
Visited store today to make a purchase. No staff at the till and when the assistant eventually showed up (with no apology, hello etc) she scanned my item and overrode the question asking if I found everything I wanted on the chip and pin reader to ‘Yes’ without even asking me. I advised her I had a reward card, so she cancelled the transaction, scanned my reward card & overrode the question to ‘Yes’ again. I then told her I wanted to use my balance so she again cancelled the transaction, re-put it through, and again overrode the question with a ‘Yes’. I stumped her finally by paying the balance with cash.
I did question her at this stage that surely the question on the chip and pin was for the customer to answer? The response was ‘It’s quicker if I do it!’
So I have two points to make -
1) If your staff members actually interact with the Customers and ask if they have a reward card, it could save a lot of wasted time.
2) If this store is getting perfect customer feedback on the chip & pin scanner, you now know why….

Went into Accessorize in Reading to get my piercing done and had the best experience with Ayesha and Jerusha, honestly made my experience 10/10, they were so comforting as I was scared to get my ears done but reassured me which really helped. Jerusha did an amazing job with my Cartilage and Ayesha was great with the assistance and explaining the after care. Thanks so much girls xx

Extremely poor customer service and automated responses
I purchased a pair of trousers (size M) from Accessorize Friary Guildford on 11/07/2025. When I tried them on at home, they were far too big — more like a size XL — and completely unusable.
I returned to the store within 5 days, with the receipt and the item in perfect condition, but the return was refused simply because the tag was missing. What’s worse, when I contacted customer service, they responded as if I had bought a bag, not trousers — showing they didn’t even read my message properly.
I’m not from the UK and was unaware that a missing tag would completely void the right to return something. No one informed me in-store. The lack of empathy, flexibility, or even attention to detail was truly disappointing.
I no longer want a refund. I just want people to be aware: once the tag is gone — even if you have the receipt and never used the item — you’ll likely be ignored or brushed off with robotic replies. This is not how a trusted brand should treat its customers.

Poor practice of taking my payment for an order worth ~£75 only to receive an email 4 days later to say half the items are unavailable. Waste of time browsing the website and putting together items that work for an outfit as order was not fulfilled.

Tried ordering online but had a query re payment. Website says you can call Mon -Sun But that is wrong as message on phone says Mon -Fri. Tried emailing but couldn't proceed as didn't have an order number !!! So tried phoning today. Have given up. Do you want new customers Accessorize ???? Keep getting texts with codes but they don't work.

Express click and collect just a joke
Placed order on Wednesday as part of a birthday present on the accessorize website using express click & collect which claims to be ready for collection within 4-8 hours. We never received any other communication confirming order ready for collection. On Friday morning which is the day of the birthday party we went to the shop and were told order is not ready until Monday! The altrincham shop doesn’t have many options we can pick as alternatives, so now I have to go find something again! Thanks for all the trouble from shopping with you Accessorize. DO NOT make promises that you can’t deliver!
