Accesorize’s policy is a trick test: do you trust the staff or do your own research?
While browsing in store at London Bridge, I asked a young blond sales assistant if earrings bought online could be returned, and was told yes but with the barcode. Based on this, I placed a large online order, including multiple pairs meant as gifts if i like them, as they were on sale. The sales went even further so I placed yet another order, even larger. When the first package of items items arrived, the quality/style didn’t match expectations, so I went to return them in store, the same store at London Bridge, only to be told that Accessorize does not accept returns on earrings. I’m now left with hundreds of pounds’ worth of unopened items I’ll never wear or gift. The staff at the till were polite, but being incorrectly advised by a member of staff is unacceptable and reflects poor training. The lady at the tills have apologised, Stephanie from customer services though, kept repeating ‘sorry, it’s for hygiene reasons, I’m sorry you’ve been wrongfully advised’. At no point I’ve been told ‘I’m sorry that our new staff is not trained up to any standards, let’s see how we can help fixing our mistake’. She had no interest in hearing who was it, the circumstances, the branch, time of the day. Very disappointing and expensive experience. I’ve tried to have a chat with customer service and been told that they don’t take back earrings due to hygiene reasons, which I completely get. My latest parcel has been delivered last night, I have not opened the outer package, let alone the earring packages themselves. I’m happy to return everything, including necklaces and bags, just to I’m not stuck with the earrings. Then I can reorder the bags that I’m interested in, benefiting of your 70% sale + the latest addition of 10%. Your colleague Stephanie still still won’t accept the return, even though it can be proven that there’s no hygiene concern. This is the worst part, the lack of apology and intention to fix this.

Terrible. Painfully slow customer service.
Ordering a couple of items before Christmas and sending them back to only be told that I have to wait for 10 days to recieve a refund. The items I returned (tracked) were recieved by the company on the 22nd December. I have still not been refunded my money and it is the 14th January.

Monsoon/ accessorize always have good…
Monsoon/ accessorize always have good quality products. I love their handbags collection, scarves and gloves. The staff is friendly.
Great little store
Had a great sale on. Anna was so helpful and because of her I was able to find what I wanted. Has a nice chilled vibe in the shop due to the staff.
Scams! Waste of time and money
I bought two matching items, however they supposed to arrive with two separate orders. That’s already weird and concerning! Only one item has arrived while the other has been cancelled. It’s pointless for me to have only one item so I decided to return it. It’s been almost a month and I’m still awaiting a refund. I have received an email saying that they have received my return and that’s it, no more updates and no money on my account. This company is a joke!
Update!
Your response just proves that your company doesn’t know what’s going on with my order because this is not about the item that has been cancelled but about the item that has been returned to you for which I have been charged but haven’t received a refund. It’s one month now and nobody seems to be able to help and sort this out.

The NCL airport store is lovely
The NCL airport store is lovely. Their staff always so lovely and helpful! Their loyalty card thing gives you incredible discounts also!!
Special thanks to the member of staff who helped me look for a few little things for my bestie. She was easygoing & very helpful + good at engaging customers in conversation and she had excellent stock knowledge. Very pleased with my purchases. 50% sale and £6 discount from my loyalty card!!!! I click and collected a gift from here for Christmas and they gave me a completely incorrect item. Absolute waste of my time travelling to their store. Will not order from here again.

Be very careful when buying sale items!
I ordered a hat in the sale but when the transaction went though I was charged the full price! Customer services said they were unable to refund the difference and that I would need to return the hat and then buy it again at the reduced price.

Erica at Accessorize Reigate saved the day
Erica at Reigate Accessorize. The extremely helpful assistant who went out of her way to help me return a package to Monsoon.
I had previously tried to return the item to Monsoon Epsom but was told they couldn't accept it as their Internet was down. I questioned this as I had just been in Next with a return, no problem. I was told this was because Monsoon didn't have bar codes.
Missing item & terrible WhatsApp customer service
I ordered Christmas tree ornaments, which were dispatched in two deliveries. The second delivery, containing one ornament, hasn't arrived and it's been nearly 2 weeks. There's no option to ring the company, so I used WhatsApp and the bot is awful. It kept repeating the same thing to me and not actually understanding what I was saying. I think I was then transferred to a person, which was only a marginal improvement. No apology for how much I kept having to repeat myself. The ornaments have been good quality, but the poor customer service is very off-putting.

Nice necklaces poor customer service
I like my necklaces but I bought them at Paddington station and the bored girl at the checkout bunged all three necklaces in the same flimsy and small bag and naturally they all got tangled together. I’ll have to spend significant time separating them!!!! These bags are so cheap and the necklaces quite large why didn’t she use three separate bags?!?

Poor customer service
Poor customer service. My parcel was lost by evri and instead of replacing the items all items were refunded. The items are still mostly in stock they just didn’t want to honour the Black Friday pricing. I so regret not going with another retailer who would not have acted in this way, now I’m unable to get the items with a Black Friday discount. I can also see with evri tracking that they have requested the parcel be returned to them. Dishonest and greedy company that don’t deserve your custom.

Order never arrived
Don't waste your £££ or time. Placed a small order ten days ago, whilst the order was dispatched promptly the package is still yet to arrive. Called customer service today, waited thirty minutes to speak to somebody to then be told I could wait a few more days to see if the order turns up or raise an investigation. Choosing the latter, they will be in touch within seven days and then it could take a further ten to refund me. Shop elsewhere, I am lucky it was just stocking fillers because if a family made a larger purchase and were struggling financially you would be both without your purchase and left with no refund until most likely after Christmas. Fulfil your obligation to YOUR customer, refund them so they can take business elsewhere and then take up your own investigation with your chosen courier.

I would like to praise and thank the assistants at Accessorize, Stratford Upon Avon (next door to Waterstones). I had tried to buy sunglasses from M&S, Superdrug, Boots and various other shops in Stratford, as unfortunately I had left mine at home in North Wales. They all said they had been withdrawn from the shop fall until next spring. An assistant at the Stratford store took an interest in my predicament and said that she would endeavour to find a shoe box full of sunglasses in the storeroom upstairs. I was then able to purchase my sunglasses and walk out a very happy customer on a very sunny day. Thank you!
First and last time ordering
AVOID AVOID AVOID. A company who truly does not care about Customer Experience.
ORIGINAL REVIEW: There’s a reason this company has less than 3 stars on TrustPilot.
Their customer service team send template emails, don’t bother to read what you send them and do the absolute bare minimum. I had a simple query and it’s still not been resolved due to their entirely unhelpful customer service team. Don’t even bother emailing them.
This was my first and will be my last time ordering from Accessorize.
EDIT: the company’s reply is NOT useful. The “more than adequate” information they’re claiming their team provided was all provided by ME in my original email to them, which again, they would know if they’d actually read my emails as my original review mentioned.
2ND EDIT: Yet another defensive email reply from the company who are STILL yet to apologise for their subpar customer service. They’ve also decided that the case is closed, simply because they can no longer be bothered to reply to my emails.
Some of their exact words to a first time customer: “At this stage, we are unsure what further action you are expecting us to take” and “We are satisfied that the matter has been addressed and consider this issue closed” because, apparently, it’s dependant on their satisfaction, not the customer’s.
I’m no longer allowed to respond to them privately so this TrustPilot review may end up 5 edits long if I continue to go without an apology!
If Zara, Nicola or Rebekah could issue a formal apology, that would be great!

Ear piercing
I took my grandaughter to get her ears pierced in the St albans store. The store manager completed this and was AMAZING! So reassuring and professional and put my grandaughter totally at ease. Really recommend this to others it was excellent!
Ealing Branch - Excellent Customer Service :-)
I had my ears pierced by Luca - she was great at the piercing - but also delivered a delightful customer service experience which these days are pretty rare.
The Ealing branch are very lucky to have her.

Worst experience I have had in any…
Worst experience I have had in any store.I was passing by the Aylesbury store today and saw 50% off sign went to have a look both staff there were looking at each other giving me weird looks, next minute security joined them I just took myself out and didn’t bother to spend my money there.
Poor customer service if that’s how they scan their customers.
