I am a frequent on-line purchaser and I enjoy the convenience of doing so.
I was so disappointed to read about the very poor customer service from World of Judaica. When purchasing an item such as a challah cover, one is buying a very meaningful and spiritual item. In addition, when this item is purchased as a gift, one hopes to have the order filled in a timely manner. I was aware of the 11 to 20 business day shipping but I was surprised to see so many complaints of non-delivery. I plan to contact my credit card company to report the lack of delivery. Your company was very quick to take payment. It is a shame that you do not have the same kind of service and respect for your customers.

Worst Buying Experience Ever
This business and these people are total crooks. They debt our account quickly, but you never receive your purchase. I spend almost $300 on items from this store back in November. To date I have not received my order. I left 5 voice mails and sent 5 emails in the past 2 weeks trying to find out when I could expect my order. None of my calls or emails were ever answered. Someone needs to investigate these people. Needless to say, I have 5 family members who will not be opening up any gifts this Hanukkah.
Upset/disbelief
I am very upset with the way this company deals with its clients. I can accept delays in orders but I do not accept total ignoring of emails, especially when almost $600 has gone out of my account to pay for the items. I don't believe i will be inclined to deal with this company again. If my order does not arrive soon I will begin process to reclaim my money.
WORST EVER CUSTOMER SERVICE!
I ordered a Hebrew "name" necklace from this seller on 26/11/2016. The only communication since was asking me to confirm the spelling of the name. I confirmed MIRIAM -why the confusion this is one of the most common female names in Judaism?!!! Since then no reply the order shows "pending" as if I had never replied. No reply to at least 4 emails since. Live chat is always unavailable....My money seems to have disappeared into the abyss! I would never recommend this seller to anyone unless you do not care about receiving the worst service ever!
WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!
I placed an order on October 14, 2016 for a yalmulke that stated delivery would be within 19 days. It is currently December 19 and not only do I NOT have the order but I cannot get anyone to respond to either my emails or telephone messages. It does not matter what day or time you call - absolutely no one answers the phone nor returns your call. I have previously ordered from this company without issue but will never again place an order with World of Judaica. They are either a complete and total scam or a company in such financial trouble that they advertise products knowing that they will never ship. Do yourself a favor and DO NOT order anything from World of Judaica!!
The "in fulfillment" Nightmare
I've ordered a tallit for something like 2 months and still haven't received it.
After a month, I got a mail telling that the article I chose was out of stock and that I should choose a replacement one, which I did... But none modified my order until I contacted the live chat service:.. But still, one month later, still nothing. I've contacted the live chat service a couple of times again, always the same excuse : not our fault, sorry for the delay, we will mail you when we receive the ETA and when we can ship your article... But basically, you just wait and wait and wait and... Nothing !!!!
They ignore the mails you send to the customer support service...
I'm gonna wait 1 more week until I take the next step... And ask for my money back.
Angry and Betrayed
My name is Jonathan from Texas and I've always had a good experience ordering items, until I saw "World of Judaica. On November 11, 2016, I ordered the "Soncino Talmud on DVD-ROM, " from this website and paid $134.00. I knew that it would take 11-20 business days to arrive to my house, since they come from Israel. However, its been 1-month and 5-days since I made my order and when I check my order status, it states that its in "Fullfillment." I have called the customer service number, with no response, and I've emailed them many times. The last email message I got from customer support was on December 8, saying they would get back to me with the ETA order, and that has been the last message I've heard from them. I have alot of respect for the State of Israel and for Israeli Businesses, in which I've ordered items in the past from them. But I don't have respect or tolerance for being ignored, snubbed, mislead, and lied to, when I paid good money for a product, especially, when it comes to the Talmud. I shoudn't have to write a review like this, but I feel very angry and betrayed with the methods of how my business has been conducted. (If World of Judaica reads this: I don't want a patronizing and condescending "thank you for your feedback," statement; I just want to know the ETA order when the item I paid for will be sent to my house.)
Worst online shopping experience ever
I will never order from this company again. I ordered a hannukah menorah and candles on the 25th of November, it is now the 11th of December and my order has still not been shipped. I sent them an email inquiry on the 2nd of December which to date has still not been answered. Strongly considering contacting Mastercard tomorrow and having them reverse the charges. Appalling service!
Misleading
Great website, great selection, thought I would use this site for a gift for my folks who would be visiting me in Germany in 6 weeks.
So ordered a Menorah, added a few small things so as to get free delivery and the credit card was charged immediately.
Then nothing for 3 weeks. We were then told 'We will tell you when it has been sent'. So delivery 14 days + after ordering is misleading as they need to source the items first.
Then they said order is ready, except the candles, I said ok we wait.
Order arrives, customs form not filled in - World of Judaica say that is not their problem, actually it is, they need to fill in the customs form, leaving it blank is no good. So we had to pay a service fee and duty on the whole bill amount (even though really they shouldn't charge for a Menorah but it is Germany and the bureacracy is a nightmare and I just wanted the box).
Get the box.......looks rather small........no Menorah, just the extra stuff we ordered to bump it up for free delivery.
No response to emails. Even strongly worded complaints.
Live chat works and is great, except that is just a bunch of kids who tell you what their comp says, they can't do much else to help as they are at a remote site. They must really love their jobs at the moment with all the problems this company is having.
Anyway, they say the order has been split (don't know what happened to the Menorah when the shipment was only missing the candles) and we have no idea when it will come.
It has now been 10 weeks. I can't see it coming now but will wait till nearer Hannukah before going to Visa for a partial refund which will no doubt be another long fangled process. Although with all the complaints here I am sure they will be aware.
Not sure if they are not paying suppliers who are now not sending them stuff or what but really they shouldn't be selling stuff they haven't got.
They might reply here now that I have complained and say oh order has shipped, but until it is in my hands I am not believing anything, a real shame because if they had said oh sorry this will take 10 weeks I probably would have said well fine, no probs! but no response means people just feel like they have been cheated.
Terrible
I ordered almost $1,000 worth of items from this website a month ago and was charged immediately. I have not received any of my items nor have my inquiries been responded to. I am days away from disputing the credit card charges as many of the reviews I have read on here do not fill me with confidence that I will ever receive my items or much less get a response from them.
UPDATE
World of Judaica responded by giving me tracking information as to my first order, which has now arrived. While they advised me that my second order would ship yesterday, they have not provided me with tracking information. It seems that their problem is a lack of communication at the beginning by not telling you when you items have shipped and providing tracking information. They also do not respond when you contact their customer service e-mail or telephone number. To get their attention, you have to post a negative review on a website. They then decide to pay attention to the matter. Hopefully, by posting this I will get tracking information as to my second order. All of this could be avoided if they had a system in place like Amazon. The system should give you an estimated arrival date, update you if that changes, advise you when the order shipped, and provide you with tracking information. If they are not going to have such a system in place, they should at least respond to their customer service e-mail or telephone number. Triaging customer complaints through sites like these cannot be efficient and undoubtedly leads to losing people's business.

Where is my order?
Desperately trying to locate my order - was promised within 14 working days - i have had 1 response to my many emails and messages, saying "it was sent to SA" but no further feedback or tracking ability to know WHERE/ WHEN my order will arrive. it is a mezuzah for my babies room, and I am due any day now......
help.

Can not contact company or receive any tracking information.
I have called and left three voicemails and emailed multiple times and have yet to receive a response. I placed my order on September 20 and twice was contacted because they were missing items and I needed to pick different ones. After I paid the extra for the items I was told that my order was complete on October 21 and I would receive tracking information shortly. It has been over a month and I have yet to receive anything. It is less than a month away to Chanukah and I am considered it won't arrive in time. I ordered in September because I knew it was in Israel and I live in the US. This is very frustrating and I will never order here again.
No more!
Having placed my order on October 31.2016. My credit card was debited immediately on the same day. This reaction time was very fast. After three weeks I send them an email asking when my ordered item will be shipped. No answer. Three days later I repeated the email again. Until now I am still waiting for any answer.
It is hard to beliefe, that they ignore my emails. I don't know if this is a chaotic organisation or incompetence or if this company still alife. For me a total lack of understanding of customer service. I' am going to ask my card issuer to return my money back because of no answering my emails and non-delivery. I would never contact this company again!

I would never deal with this company again
Having placed my order weeks ago, my credit card was debited immediately. However my order details have not appeared in either of the accounts that I have previously used. Repeated attempts to find out what is happening or where my order has gone through both their website and direct emails have been ignored. Attempting chatlink contact slot was a waste of time as the service was not available during the advertised timeslot and simply referred me back to the website contact which had previously been ignored.
I don't know if this is just incompetence, a total lack of understanding of the concept of Customer Service or part of their business model (calculating that that a proportion of customers will simply give up leaving their up front payment behind as pure profit). Whichever is correct I would advise steering well clear of this lot. I'm going to ask my card merchant to my reverse payment on the grounds of non-delivery.
Update - 22 November
I note the reply from World of Judaica and respond as follows
(1) there was someone in my house all day yesterday - there was no attempted delivery and no note left as would be the case if an attempt had in fact been made (we also have two hyper sensitive and happy puppies who yap like crazy whenever the door bell rings so there is almost no chance that it would have gone unnoticed)
(2) if I had any doubts lingering doubts about the dubious claim of attempted delivery they have been dispelled by the fact that the email that was supposedly been sent has not been arrived either - I guess it must be taking the long route as well.
Nort much else to say really.

WARNING - ONLINE PURCHASE
I highly do not recommend you to order through World of Judaica.
Phase 1 all is great : their web site is great ; you will order ; you will get debited immediatly
Phase 2 : it will turn to a nightmare : you will never receive your order ; you will try to connect in vain with their customer service ; they will send you couple e-mails to make you believe you order will arrive one day.
As of today, never received my order done on September 12th....

I live in England and have used this company many times, I find the items of a very good standard and they alway despatch in good time.
Would I recommend them to friends and family? I already have.

Worst online company I've ever dealt with
I work at a major online retailer in the US and I understand logistics, I understand human error and even the possibility of unseen issues popping up so I am not going to solely bash this company because the order is already a month and a half late... without any signs of shipping out soon.
The worst part is not that this company is terrible with the timing of their delivery (I can see that they often lie about their estimated shipping in the other reviews); the truly horrid thing is their lack of and facade of customer service.
If you happen to call into their phone line, there is no one that will ever attend their phones... it's an automated message no matter what option you choose. If you happen to chat in, their people are absolutely useless at getting you any meaningful information as to when things will ship out.
I was offered "upgraded shipping" on my order because of how long it took... but was never explained that it would still take another month without it shipping out anyway.
If you are going to purchase from any retailer for Judaica products online I highly recommend trying anywhere else. I'm personally going to be having a talk with my bank within the end of next week if I don't have confirmation that the order is shipped out.
I'm also going to be warning ever Jewish, Christian and Messianic webpage and group I know to never deal with these thieves again. May Yah have mercy on these heathens for taking advantage of and stealing from his people...
