Does everything it says on the website…
The Installation happened on the agreed date and was undertaken by a skilled operative who was polite friendly and very knowledgable . He did a neat installation, answered all our qustions and cleared up after himself. The router gives agreat signal all over the house and we are achieving download speeds in excess of the 200meg we signed up for.

Suprisingly Very Pleased
After waiting nearly 18 months Wildanet finally landed in the road outside of my property and were good to go. Still had a bit of BT contract left so was in no rush to sign up but when Wildanet came a knocking at my door and explained what was on offer it got me thinking.
Received several emails, a couple of mail shots then a very enthusiastic sales person called Jack C got me on the phone.
He knew his stuff, was a bit too keen for my liking but did rein it in when I got bolshy. To be honest wildanet should be proud of him as he got the ball well and truly rolling.
After signing up (subject to site survey) it wasn't long before two very polite site surveyors turned up. For once they listen to what I wanted and not what necessarily the easy option and agreed with my request. Not quit sure what happened because a week later two different surveyors turned up to survey the survey! Not to be out done they listened as well and agreed what I wanted was a goer. Shortly after this the groundwork team arrived and again listened as I didn't require a mini digger mucking up my garden and dug channel by hand (bearing in mind it was about a 100 metres or so down my drive and around the front of my house)
Very tidy workers and very polite. Next came the external box and fibre ' blown' through pre layed cable all very professionally handled.
This just left connection which happened a couple of days later. Joshua arrived puntually, put cable and internal box just as requested and did a very neat job.
We were soon 'good to go'
We have only been connected for a couple of weeks, speed is good (marvellous compared to BT) so all in all it has been a very good experience so far.
Am now waiting to see how the billing and admin side of things works but this is not what I am here currently to report on as I was asked to review how things had gone so far.

I was contacted by wildanet to update…
I was contacted by wildanet to update me with news that following my enquiry last year they are now in a position to connect me if i wish to go ahead. Within 2 weeks we were surveyed and installed - the whole process was very smoothly completed, the only issue was we ordered broadband only and i’ve been billed for phone, handsets and a booster, i contacted billing and they called me back to apologise and provided return box and postage label to return the phones equipment booster, and said they will credit the payment to my account towards future bills. Fitters were friendly, professional and tidy, customer service were very pro active and easy to contact. Internet is brilliant 210 mb we had 7mb off bt so massive improvement highly recommend wildanet - if there is a referral scheme i have a new customer for them.

Very disappointed
I contacted Wildanet on 16th February after Sky informed me that they couldn’t continue to provide my broadband as I was moving to an area where they didn’t have coverage. Wildanet said they had to do a site visit and would keep me updated every step of the way, but 3 weeks later I hadn’t heard anything from them so rang them only to be told they had to apply to the council to erect a pole outside and it could take 12 weeks to get a reply. I have a Sky Glass tv which only works through broadband, therefore I currently have no tv and am paying for sky services that I am not able to use for what could be up to 4 months by the time it gets sorted!

Don't do it.
The initial contract was good, communication was okay, the installation team were brilliant. When it was time to renew it was a joke.
We were on a 400/200 package. Phoned to talk to them about renewing what a complete joke, was like a sketch from Little Britain - computer says no.
Could we keep our current package for another 24 month contract - NO
Could we upgrade to one of the current offers - NO
We have been stuck with a poorer service for 25% price increase. As soon as Openreach have completed their infrastructure updates we are gone. Even if it means early termination charges.
Response to reply:
Clearly stated it this was for September 2025. Clearly stated this was discussed at the time. As a company the customer service is non-existent.

Only giving 4 stars due to having to wait a while and having no communication from wildanet I had to chase them.But I have to say the installation went smoothly Derek was very informative and told me what he was doing through the whole process from the work outside and then inside.Tidying up as he went have no complaints.Only been running a week but working fine 👍

Engineers fitted new cables and router
Engineers fitted new cables and router. Even helped me connect my devices. They were helpful friendly and courteous. Internet speed is so much better than my previous provider too. Hopeful that Wildanet will be a great service. So far, excellent.

From the moment the sales agent, Kizzie, started to explain things about firbre optic and Wildanet it was clear that we should hear more. She explained things very well about what we should expect going forward. We never once had the feeling that we were being oversold something (as often happens). And things went as she had said. The workmen came and laid the cable. Then the engineer came and connected us up. We did appreciate the advanced notice. Everything was done efficiently and pretty quickly. Well done all.

Support was not good. Never got a reply to my email when we had difficulties connecting initially and no OOH support available.

Excellent installation
The installation was very smooth and professional especially as it wasn't a straightforward installation, just a shame that it took 5 years from when we first registered with them.
Had it been within 12 months like the rest of the village was connected they would have had a full 5 stars

Aaron and ollie were great
Aaron and ollie were great! They set us up quickly and efficiently.
They ran through every step with us! They were really down to earth, we couldnt fault them.
Both men were amazing with our autistic 6 year old daughter when she came home from school they took time inbetween what they were doing or telling us about to answer her thank you to them both they are a credit to the team
Our daughter is happy there's no more lag in games

Really helpful and efficient right from the word go. From Jack Challoner who answered all of our initial questions clearly and continued to help right up to the installation. To Derek Jamie and Josh, the installation team, who were brilliant. Very pleased so far 10/10.

Smooth switchover
The whole procedure went smoothy from the time we agreed with the Sales Agent to switch to Wildanet to installation. In fact, the changeover was completed two weeks ahead of the anticipated time. We had one slight hitch when transferring the landline but this was dealt with swiftly and efficiently by the technical support team. All in all we couldn't fault the staff and our Sales Agent, Kizzie, was particularly helpful, even to the point of follow-up contact after everything was completed.
