I applied for a truck fuel card but was…

I applied for a truck fuel card but was sent a different product with terms I did not agree to. I never activated or used the card, yet I was charged approximately $300 in fees. Despite disputing the charges and requesting closure, the account was treated as active and is now affecting my ability to obtain fuel cards elsewhere for my business. This has caused financial and operational harm. I am still seeking full removal of the charges and written confirmation that the account is closed and corrected. It's just me that wondering how many more people got robbed by this fuel company

This company is so full of shit I put…

This company is so full of shit I put in to get my FSA reimbursement to me for doctor's visit. I put in to have it direct deposit to my account, and I receive email stating I was getting a check. I call them and they tell me it's their fault but you say the only way you can fix it in your system for me to get my money I have to wait till the check process and you can go back cancel check an process it for direct deposit so I still waiting on my money which could take up to 3 to 5 business days before I get my money after you process it for direct deposit.

Zero Custom Service

This company goes out of there way to not help their customers. Received first bill, it's wrong. Trying to get in touch with customer service has been impossible.

Gave one star because negative is not available. Was trying to get a business invoice to make a payment. It was impossible even after giving account information.

repeating the same thing and not helping to get the invoices and service back up.

This is the poorest excuse for a company o have ever had to deal with. The most incompetent, uninterested, and downright stupid employees will speak at you in circles until you want to rip your hair out. Avoid this company at all costs because you will watch reimbursement after reimbursement get denied after employees telling you it will go through and, when it’s not, no one has any insight as to why. Then, they’ll tell you to resubmit it only for the claim to be denied again. This is a waste of time, a waste of energy, and what I imagine the pits of h e double hockey sticks looks like

Customer Service needs work

Their customer service leaves a lot to be desired. I made a mistake in my elections. I elected FSA which I did not want. In order to fix it, they made me fill out a form. I did it and send it back on 11/25. No one ever got back to me and the problem wasn't fixed. I'm having surgery next week and need to make sure I have my insurance so I called them. After several attempts to call with no answer, someone finally picked up today. They told me my insurance was on hold because I needed to pay the FSA. I explained that I sent the form to cancel the FSA. According to them, I sent the form to the wrong email address. I had written to that email a second time requesting a reply and explaining the urgency. The fact that no one could be bothered to forward my message to the correct address or at least reply and tell me that I needed to send the form elsewhere is mind blowing. They told me that it's going to take about a week for everything to be settled. As I said before, I'm having surgery next week so I really hope that's true.

Horrible customer relations

Insane fees, horrible customer service, better off just getting a real credit card and putting limits on the card to gas stations and collect points and less operation fees. Difficult to change address, set up auto pay and even cancel subscription. Don't say you weren't warned

Payment on COBRA health insurance…

Payment on COBRA health insurance failed to go through. I received zero notification (I checked my inbox, nothing). They canceled my insurance. Again, ZERO notification... the only place they tell you anything is the online portal in pdf documents.

I was without insurance unknowingly for nearly two months. Had the ability to pay at anytime, they just don't have normal, functional autopay nor do they contact you. Almost as if they WANT you to drop.

Had my family or I had a health emergency, we would have been absolutely screwed. Would have had to sue Wex.

Fuel cards

I held some fuel cards with WEX. They requested £2,000 to be held in their account as cover whilst I built up a credit rating with them. I canceled the account after a month as I found another provider who didn't require a deposit to be held but then WEX didn't want to return the deposit. I was told it would be back with 3 weeks of the closure, I'm currently 5 weeks on and still being told it will be released in 3 weeks time. Joke of a company

WEX = Garbage

WEX started out amazing. Then in 2025 they started denying every claim with bogus excuses. $5,000 of healthcare reimbursement money I can't get back because they keep dodging every receipt I send them. They are a worthless company with a worthless service. Heaven rain hellfire on this company and burn them off the face of the planet. Now they won't even let me log in to the website to enter my receipts at all. Telling me I have to change my userid and password before I can log in but refusing to accept any password that fits their description of suitable passwords.

These guys are jerks. I got a letter from them on September 14. It was dated September 8th. It informed me that my health insurance expired on August 31. Thanks. Real helpful. GFY.

I have used Wex(EFS) for several years…

I have used Wex(EFS) for several years (15). I received an express code, got it authorized as usual and deposited it. To my surprise Wex issued the same approval to another and they got it cashed before my deposit. So, Wex say so sad too bad there is nothing they can do even though they issued the approval code to me and another approval code to someone else.

Generally Poor Overall Customer Service

Customer service via phone now begins with a the customer communicating with a AI interface and if you do not EXACTLY provide the information requested or ask the AI anything off script ......will hang up on you. VERY RUDE. The web site is not user friendly. Instead of being able to find, download, or print the monthly reports easily you have to hung all over the site after logging in to your account to find the monthly report pages you need. Also seems that even if you make pre-payments that if you are just a few dollars short of paying the full monthly bill on time you get severely penalized. So if you are a small biz and you are ill and out of work for a few days, and are the only authorized employee to use the WEX website.........WEX does not care. Some reports, notably the monthly invoice are not available if you want to find one 6 months previous. WEX will have to email a copy to you. Not a good use of my time....I do not want to revisit a task I should be able to perform NOW.

Horrible

Horrible, just horrible. Payment cutoff is 3:30EST, so accidentally making the payment at 4:15 costs over $800 in fees. Absolutely ridiculous!! It's online & happens instantly you friggin morons!!!

BUM COMPANY WITH BUM EMPLOYEES

Where's the zero stars option when you need it? I got this card to boost my business credit, but the set-up and customer service has been a nightmare. When you call, it is almost impossible to get someone on the line that speaks and understands English, and when you do, they still don't help you accomplish anything. THEN to top it off the terms are HORRIBLE! They change your due date every month, so it's almost like they set you up for a late fee, because what cards do you know of where the due date isn't the same EVERY month? So I ended up getting charged a late fee of $75 for a $30 balance. THEN when you have your legal advisor contact them, they ignore them and also ignore your requests for arbitration. It has been over 5 months since I initially reported this matter to WEX, and they STILL haven't even ATTEMPTED to resolve it. AVOID THIS CARD AND COMPANY AT ALL COSTS!

Terrible!!

Terrible!!! We didn't even finish our application before they sent us unmarked (named) cards and started hitting us with fees and bills up to $325! I called multiple times and was told someone would get back to me. We hadn't completed the application bc we wanted to make sure we coudl use the cards at our preferred gas station. When I called in hopes of paying the initial fee and waiving the rest and getting. new cards, they refused until we paid a $325 past due balance for nothing!!! No way!!! Terrible business practices and customer service. This place is WHACK

WEX = Where Every eXperience is a Nightmare

If WEX’s customer service were a maze, it would make the Minotaur pack up and quit. Calling their "help" number is like entering a vortex of robotic voices and endless menus that lead to—wait for it—absolutely no human ever. It's like they put the “H” in HSA just to remind you there’s “Hardly any Support Available.”

Trying to set up an account online? Good luck. It’s an infinite loop of password resets that don’t work, screens that freeze, and logins that act like they’re allergic to actual functionality. By the time you’re done, you’ll feel like you’ve aged enough to qualify for Medicare.

Their service is so unresponsive, I’m starting to think my HSA stands for “Hold, Suffer, Aggravate.” If I had a nickel for every time I screamed “operator” into the phone, I could probably pay for my own healthcare out of pocket.

WEX—you’ve officially turned customer service into an extreme sport, and no one’s winning.
