Good value car insurance for learner drivers with different blocks of cover available to suit all needs. NB - the follow on insurance is very expensive compared to other companies so worth shopping around once the learner has passed their test...

Go with an unknown and get problems
Got a quote off compare the market and took the offer got to pay now and the price had dropped,happy days.all completed for the following week,job done so i assumed.following day got an email saying my driving license dates were different to a previous quote and that if i didnt sort it out insurance would be cancelled.they had already taken the payment by now.spent half an hour on the phone listening to some monotonous music and gave up.spent an hour the next morning listening to the same music,lost the will to live and gave up again.do marmalade have thousands of people phoning at all times of day or just one poor soul dealing with everything.went with HASTINGS instead,should have guessed going cheap with an unknown would be troublesome.i just hope they refund my money without any fuss when they cancel policy on the 21st but i dare say there will be a drama somewhere.

Having reviewed your policy, we understand that you contacted us to make a change. Unfortunately, the amendment requested resulted in the policy becoming an unacceptable risk under the insurer's underwriting criteria, meaning we were unable to proceed with the change or continue cover on the existing terms.
We appreciate that this outcome may have been frustrating, particularly if it was not what you were expecting. Insurers assess policy changes individually, and in some circumstances a change can alter the risk profile to a level that cannot be accepted.
