Bought the woody 3.0. Great board for family memories, easily takes an adult and child without becoming unstable in the sea. We did have a defect with the fin release as it broke after the first use. However, an email over to their support line with pictures and the board was replaced. Mo from their support team was great

I would advise others to think carefully before purchasing from this company.
I ordered a Wave Navigator kayak, which arrived in extremely poor condition. The delivery box was badly damaged, and when I inspected the contents, I found missing items and damage to the kayak itself. The product I received was not fit for purchase or use.
I contacted the company several times and had emails with David (Head of Customer Services) and generic email from them stating they would make contact within 48 hours, which hasn't happened. Now, Molly, but unfortunately, my concerns were not properly addressed and I received no satisfactory resolution.
This has been a very disappointing experience, not only because of the damaged product but also because of the lack of customer service and communication afterwards.
I would not recommend this company and hope this review helps others make an informed decision before buying…
UPDATE:
I’m no better off than I was 6 days ago, poor communication and empty promises. Promise they have a replacement on order and sent out yesterday afternoon without my consent and I’m on holiday. But I’ve had no email stating this from the courier.

We ordered a board for our son’s 10th…
We ordered a board for our son’s 10th birthday. The board showed as available on the website but we were informed after that it was actually pre order only.
We then tried to get a resolution in terms of a different model of board but the communication was so poor from wave in the end we had to cancel and order from elsewhere.
We were promised a refund within 7-10 days. We are on day 10 and have been told now that it will be another 7 days.
The communication throughout has been absolutely horrendous. And sadly my 10 year old was so utterly disappointed not to get the board he wanted.
I am sure the boards are good but if you want to be a successful business you have to work on your customer service and refund procedure.
UPDATE: no the refund is not fully processed otherwise it would be in our bank- it is not. We have now contacted our bank to make a claim to get our money back. I fear this company will go bust. Do not buy from them

Terrible return policy
I ordered a wheeled paddle board bag which didn't meet my needs so I requested to return the item. My concern is the returns policy is made very difficult. I had to send a picture of the item before I could post it. Then a picture of the delivery code.. then they expected me to inform them when it was received at THEIR warehouse and pay for the return delivery. The communication has been poor. I was told to wait 7-14 days for the refund, which is fine. I have done so and still not received the refund. The process is very lengthy, customer led and toy almost have to prove you are entitled to return an item to them, however as the item is purchased via an internet based company this is the only way you can decide if you want the item after reading the description. I don't do feedbacks mainly as a rule, just so it's clear this is not a moaner comment.
Update , received further email and waited 5 further days as requested for refund. No refund has been received.

Unbelievable customer service and…
Unbelievable customer service and warranty.
I bought a venturer and took it out for its first trip on the canal. When we returned, one of the skegs was completely jammed and would not release. I have had several emails back and forth requesting information as to what was wrong, then photos of the issue. I supplied a photo of the part as I don’t know how I could show the issue of it not releasing on a photo. They now want a video of the issue which could have been asked for at the beginning. The part at fault can only cost them a few pence and considering I have only used it once and it has a 2 year warranty, this is an unbelievable faff. I hope nothing more serious happens as I don’t hold out much hope for them agreeing anything with their warranty.

Delivery Woes and Continued Disappointment
It is with genuine reluctance and sadness that I write this, as I had hoped our experience with Wave would reflect the quality and promise of the products they offer. We placed our order on the 26th of June, trusting the assurance of next‑day delivery. Yet, as of the 8th of July, the two kayaks we paid for have still not arrived.
To be clear, the initial problem lies with DPD, who appear to have misplaced the parcel. This is not Wave’s fault, and I want to acknowledge that openly. However, what has unfolded since is within Wave’s responsibility, and it is here that the disappointment has deepened.
Across these twelve days, I have received three emails: one confirming the issue was logged, another offering a vague commitment to investigate, and finally—on Sunday—a message stating that Wave would contact DPD and only dispatch replacements once the loss was confirmed. While these communications acknowledge the situation, they have not moved it forward.
What troubles me most is that I have been able to reach DPD myself with no more than half an hour’s effort each time. Given that, it is hard to understand why Wave has not been able to resolve this or offer a replacement or refund. I fully appreciate that this is a busy season, and that customer service teams are stretched—truly, they have my empathy. But empathy does not erase the reality that no meaningful action has been taken to put this right.
With regards to DPD they have been consistent on one point throughout - despite me being the recipient - Wave must handle the lost parcel because they are the supplier.
It is especially disheartening because the part of our order that *did* arrive—the buoyancy aids—appear to be excellent. Yet even these cannot be properly tested without the kayaks they were meant to accompany.
I did not want to write a negative review. I held off as long as I could, hoping for resolution. But with no options left, I felt compelled to share our experience. I will gladly amend and update this review when a final resolution is reached, whatever form it takes.

Do not order from this company, I have never had a worse customer experience full of lies and excuses.
I have emailed multiple times and still not received when or where my board is that I ordered is. all they have done without apology is blame DPD, funny this is I know its not the couriers fault, I tried emailing from a different email address and pretended I wanted to buy and guess what, I received very nice helpful emails back.
I am not the only one unfortunately one of my mates ordered one at the same time and guess what no delivery and it was DPD's fault.
Do not use this company, there is no phone number and all you will hear is we are extremely busy with 1000's of emails a day.
The only reason they deal with so many emails is because they are not an honest company.

board arrived fast but broken
board arrived very fast and was at first extremely pleased with my wave pro 3.0
took it on a paddleboarding holiday with friends and on 1st outing realized main fin clip was overly tight and i could not get it in. with much trying finally managed to, only to then later for the clip to break upon trying to remove it. (now unable to fit it into bag) and even though i washed the board off when we got back to campsite the raised non slip deck had started to peel away from board.
i have contacted customer services regarding this and at first they responded and asked for pictures which i have sent, and now nothing. i keep asking for updates but nothing. i will try to arrange refund via paypal.

I bought the woody 3.0 for my birthday and I love it.
My friend also bought one after trying mine!
It looks great and is really stable.
I'm 6ft tall and 108kg and standing up was easy.
My sister has an expensive Red board and thinks mine is great value for the quality.
Fantastic beginner boards. I would definitely recommend.

Read before buying!!!
I purchased a Wave Pro 3.0 and used it twice. The board has click in/release fins, two small and one larger. The two small fins or fin slots have failed after the two trips. Initially, one became stuck fast in the slot, while the other wouldn’t click in at all and kept falling out. Now both are immovable. It’s taken the skin off both hands trying to engage the release latches.
Wave’s customer service is appalling. A video link showing the above faults and a fault with the carry bag needed to be sent to them four times before they acknowledged it. They advised using the ‘fin guard inserts’ to protect the two slots. These parts weren’t included.
30 plus emails exchanged so far.
Despite the purchase being within the ‘Right to Reject’ time frame of 30 days (Consumer Rights Act 2015) and clearly faulty, they appear unwilling to refund.
A 10% goodwill gesture off another board was offered instead and refused.
Wave then offered the solution of using a ‘hairdryer and washing up liquid’ to solve the problem. “Please use a hairdryer to soften the plastic of the slot (be careful not to place the hairdryer too close to the material though to avoid damage. Then place a few drops of washing up liquid to help lubricate the slot, rubbing this into the slot from top to bottom)”.
So don’t forget your hairdryer and washing up liquid when you pack for a day at the beach.
It’s looking like small claims will be needed to actually get my money back on a very poor faulty product. The fins are not fit for purpose, at least on the board I received. The fact that they advised me to watch their video (which they didn’t send a link to) of the hairdryer and washing up liquid technique, suggests this isn’t an isolated issue. Their final solution offered was a replacement plus ‘a surprise :)’ rather than a refund.
I couldn’t advise potential purchasers more strongly to look elsewhere for a paddle board. Wave SUP’s are cheap for a reason.

No intention to supply the goods ordered. Avoid!
Ordered 12/06 for 3-5 days delivery. After a week I contacted them to find out they had no stock but were awaiting delivery. Was rather rudely told that i could wait or cancel. I have now contacted them again to be told the same thing. Item was on sale so I would be greatly out of pocket if I cancel. I feel they are doing it deliberately because they dont want to fulfil at the sale price!
Do not buy from this company, no customer service and rude when they do reply. Not one message from them to explain the delay or apologise.

Excellent service from start to finish! My kayak order was processed quickly, and delivery was fast. The kayak arrived well packaged and exactly as described. The quality is fantastic sturdy, easy to set up, and great value for money. Communication throughout the order was excellent, and any questions I had were answered promptly. Very happy with my purchase
Very happy with my purchase, delivered quickly, board inflated/ deflated well & was a steady ride on the water. I got the Woody, aqua design and my son loves it, despite having tried SUP many times previously he wasn't interested in owning his own board but I suprised him anyway - he now loves his Wave board! The bag feels well made too.
