I ordered the colourful hoodie from VictoryChimp as I loved the colours but what I was not prepared for the sheer high quality of this product. There was a whole inner layer, like an inner tent that contributed to the overall feeling of it being a proper jacket. The business could charge way more for this item given the quality and all the attention to detail. You can tell a huge amount of thought has gone into this premium item, I absolutely love it

Great service, fantastic product

Fantastic, great quality clothes, I really like the style and colours. Quick delivery and easy return when I needed it. Both my brothers who cycle find their gear reliable and great quality so I brought some for myself. I'm not a cyclist but I like to get out doors and already it's kept me warm and dry on walks in the West of Ireland. Will definitely buy from them again.

Great products and the guys are easy to work with.

Glasses I received are flimsy, uncomfortable and frames are made of cheap plastic. Totally useless when worn with headband in winter due to flimsy build and minimal clamping force. Hard rubber nose piece makes them uncomfortable in any scenario. Also, without headband they don’t tend to slide down. They get foggy quite fast too.
Albeit I don’t buy cycling stuff from there, these glasses are very similar to Amazon products costing half of their price. I also have few pairs of Oakleys for cycling, but I think comparing them to reviewed glasses would be just unfair to the latest.
I tried to return them, but my request was rejected without any further words. Shame. Selling undeveloped products and with poor customer service it is not a way you build trust among customers.
That was my first and last purchase from this company.

The owner of Victory Chimp, Ryan O’Reilly, attempted to have my review removed for defamatory content. Following review by Trustpilot, they found no defamatory comments. In light of this I have decided to downgrade my previous 2 star rating to 1. I stand by my review which is honest and accurate. It is no surprise to me why 1 in 10 people have rated Victory Chimp 1 star and certainly no suprise at the owner trying to silence me. My review below;

I purchased just over £300 worth of garments a couple of weeks ago at a discounted 20%. Shortly after purchasing, i received an email with a 25% discount. I contacted Victory Chimp to say i had just made a purchase but i would like to take advantage of the further 5% on offer. I explained some of these items were Christmas gifts and i was in no rush to hold onto them. The owner said the cost of returning would exceed the potential savings so i took him at his word. Today the offer came into effect and the saving would have been £14.20 - Roughly 2.5 times more than the return cost. When i challenged his stance he said "Given return costs to you, stock possibly being sold out, I was advising it might be best to keep them". Perhaps the owner should be clearer in future - I feel slightly hoodwinked. Real shame as nice garments but customer service has put me off using in future.

After a month of use, i can say that these are great bib tights. The cut fits perfectly. I chose the right size based on my waist measurement. I am 196 cm tall and bought the XXL size.

I take excellent care of my kit and used these bibs exactly as intended. The item failed under normal use (used for less than 1 day), which very clearly indicates a product flaw rather than anything to do with how the item was handled. Being told—right from the first email I received after providing feedback—that the issues were somehow my fault was not only inaccurate but also unfair and unprofessional. It set the tone for a customer-service experience that felt dismissive from the outset.

For a brand positioning itself as premium, the expectations for durability, build quality, and respectful communication are understandably high. Unfortunately, the quality of these bibs didn’t meet that standard, and the customer-service experience fell even further short. Rather than acknowledging the possibility of a manufacturing issue or engaging constructively, the responses I received were defensive, accusatory, and lacking in the courtesy you’d expect from a company asking customers to pay top-tier prices. That combination of poor product performance and unhelpful communication leaves a lasting negative impression, and it speaks to deeper issues in how the company manages customer concerns.

Whatever happened to Laura? She still work there ? Laura handled things far better — with courtesy, accountability, and a willingness to actually resolve problems rather than escalate them. The contrast makes the current approach to customer service feel even more disappointing.

Since you have and accepted the item (VC re-edited to not accepted, did say accept the return), I look forward to my full refund!

I really wanted to like Victory Chimp but its clear from the number of low-star reviews that my experience isn’t unusual. Unfortunately, this likely won’t be the last negative review as long as the owner, Ryan, continues to handle customer issues in the way I experienced. The tone, defensiveness, and lack of professionalism seem to be a recurring theme cited by others as well.

I genuinely hope you don’t encounter the same problems I did. The bibs themselves were disappointing, but dealing with their customer service—Ryan—was even more frustrating. Several other one-star reviews describe similarly passive-aggressive or dismissive replies, which suggests my experience isn’t an isolated case. If you value responsive, respectful, and solution-oriented support when something goes wrong, it’s worth keeping these patterns in mind before purchasing

I’m disappointed by this response, which misrepresents both the condition of the item and the nature of my complaint.

The bib tights were used exactly as intended, cared for properly, and failed after normal use. Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, items must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose, and durable. When a product develops a fault within a short period of normal use, the responsibility lies with the retailer — not the customer — to provide a repair, replacement, or refund.
Given the nature of the failure and the fact that both the product quality and your response have reduced my confidence in this item, I do not wish to accept a repair or replacement. I am therefore requesting a full refund, which is a remedy provided for under the Consumer Rights Act when a product is faulty.

Cycling bib tights are designed to be worn and washed; normal signs of wear after minimal use point to a manufacturing or material issue, not misuse. Raising this concern does not constitute “bad faith.”

I’m pleased that many customers have had positive experiences, but that doesn’t negate my own, nor does it override consumer rights. My request was straightforward: to resolve a genuine fault in line with UK consumer protection law.

I stand by my review as a fair and accurate reflection of my experience.

Each product has been really good quality, comfy dependable and especially when it comes to cycling apparel - affordable! What sets VC apart for me though is the community they've built and a focus of having good times on bikes!
