UPS is (and in my experience, has been for years) the worst express courier in the world!
UPS has once again proved to be the least reliable courier I have ever worked with. Despite providing all the required customs documents, our urgent shipment was falsely flagged as “Customs information needed” and delayed and UPS kept completely silent about it. By pure chance, while tracking the shipment, I stumbled upon this status and their false claim that they had contacted us, which never happened. Situations like this are a regular occurance with UPS.
I have worked with DHL, FedEx, and other couriers for decades, with only occasional minor issues. With UPS, however, the problems are constant and repetitive.
Absolutely unacceptable service and truly incomepetent — I strongly, strongly advise against using them!

Although we were in all day and both mine car and a workman's van was on the drive the delivery person just left a 'sorry we missed you' note. Inept performance ment we had to travel nearly 4 miles to complete his delivery.
Consistently terrible
UPS evidently tried to deliver my package as of 15 minutes ago, but when I was out there with my dogs during that time, I didn't see a single UPS truck. UPS in the US has always been decent, but in Portugal, they've been consistently unreliable.
UPS Portugal should do a better job of incentivizing their employees to actually deliver packages.
ETA: Whoever the delivery driver is for Porto needs to learn how to attempt to deliver a package. It's really annoying to pay for shipping but never have the package delivered (they always drop it off at a collection point that's not actually that close to my home or say they attempted when I never hear the bell).
Lesson learned though I guess, I will avoid using any company that uses UPS for deliveries.
Complaining with Livro de Reclamações doesn't change anything. I guess they really don't mind making the same mistakes over and over.
Fraca qualidade
Não tenho palavras para descrever como uma empresa com a grandeza da UPS peste um mau serviço para com o cliente.
Primeiro atrasaram a entrega dizendo que a morada não estava correta ou estava enganada, o que não corresponde á verdade porque tenho a encomenda já em minha posse e a morada está correta.
Depois liguei para o apoio ao cliente onde foi combinado o estafeta deixar a encomenda no ponto de acesso UPS da minha cidade e mais uma vez para meu espanto a encomenda foi entregue num ponto de acesso UPS a + de 20km da minha cidade, ao qual eu tive que fazer hoje cerca de 48km no total para ir buscar a encomenda.
Alguém tem que se responsabilizar por este serviço tão fraco!

Uma empresa dos infernos. Nunca tentaram fazer a minha entrega, nunca ligaram, duvido se quer se a encomenda saiu do armazém. Empresa podre. Sem mais nem menos, a encomenda foi devolvida para o remetente. Não vale nada, péssimo!

Comprei um produto que se perdeu na entrega. Nem eu (comprador) e nem o vendedor tivemos culpa no processo e a UPS não quis resolver o problema. Portanto eu paguei o produto e não recebi-o por um problema de entrega. Não recomendo esta empresa a ninguém, péssimos profissionais e falta de proatividade a resolver os problemas dos clientes.

NO ATTEMPT WHATEVER HAS BEEN MADE TO DELIVER THIS PARCEL, which is a juicer for a friend who has cancer and wishes to follow the Gerson diet Leiria, Portugal. Não podiam prestar pior serviço! Falta de profissionalismo e cuidado com os clientes, fiquei semanas à espera da encomenda e nada, decidem trocar a morada para um ponto de recolha porque é mais conveniente, o serviço de apoio ao cliente não ajuda, prometem um dia de entrega vezes sem conta e nada. Fiz mais de 8 chamadas num espaço de 8 dias e nada.

Well my parcel is not at it's destanation from tamworth it's now in burton 33 minutes away from tamworth should be going to doncaster about an hour away from tamworth. Now refund is delayed you could of walked to doncaster and this is a so called reliable couier more like snail company as it only took about 2 hours from abingdon to tamworth where's it going next the next street for a few days.

TRACKING IS WASTE OF TIME
Given a delivery estimate of between 8.45 - 12.45 waited around. at just after midday the delivery was pushed back to now 15.15 - 19.15 annoying. so went off to do what i was going to do in the afternoon. only to return home to find the driver had tried to deliver at the original 12.45 called customer services to be told its only an estimated time. said to him its 2025 technology has moved on, suggest UPS invest in a better system. We will try again tomorrow. so another day to sit around as UPS tracking is useless.
Non-refund of payment for not renderes services
As incredible as it may seem, UPS Portugal is a complete fraud. In September 2024, a package was shipped to Angola, but due to the lack of training of the employees involved, they ultimately refused to provide the service. They returned the goods to be transported, and since then, and after dozens of emails exchanged, they have not yet refunded the payment made. How can we classify this behavior? I think it's theft, or can we make another assessment after 11 months?

Consegui alterar a morada diretamente com a UPS e tive a entrega dentro do prazo estipulado, fiquei muito satisfeito!
Entrega efectuada na morada errada sem confirmação sequer do destinatário
Ora face ás inúmeras reclamações já por mim levadas a cabo em relação ao péssimo funcionamento desta empresa UPS cumpre-me uma vez mais o dever de denunciar o lastimável serviço desta UPS.
Desta vez como se não bastasse tudo resto a entrega foi efectuada na morada errada mas sem fazer qualquer referência ao destinatário, no caso eu, segundo a senhora que a recepcionou. Tive a sorte de outra das senhoras ter tido conhecimento e ao ler saber a quem era dirigida a encomenda. Se incompetência tivesse nome seria UPS, se estupidez e negligência tivesse abreviatura seria UPS.
Enfim não presta e simplesmente somos obrigados a ter que pagar um serviço que não temos como escolher.
