Absolute dogshit

Absolute dogshit. Blatant lies about "wrong address". Packages stay for weeks at Vecsés at the end they just claim item disappeared I should contact Amazon.de.

The couriers are lying about delivery attempts simply handling packages as their mood dictates.

Big fat NO

If I could give it a 0, I would. I have no idea where is my package, they are unavailable by phone, they do not respond to emails, and the tracking information is basically useless.

Damaged package with missing items

The package arrived damaged to the recipient and some items were missing. The condition of the package was as if they were playing soccer with it. It was obviously damaged, opened, then sealed again with a different kind ot tape. It is impossible to file a claim online, error messages keep popping up. The customer service in unreachable.

Rubbish

They are constantly changing and pushing the delivery time and customer service is unavailable for days (although the automatic recording claims that someone will be there *immediately*). I ordered an important package with them but that was a big mistake. Anyone who can avoid them should do so because any other way will be better than this. Disappointment and nervousness is all that they can give.

False delivery attempts, arrogant support, no accountability

I received a status update saying “The receiver was not available for delivery”, despite the fact that multiple people were at home the entire day. No phone call, no doorbell — nothing.

When I tried to contact UPS, the support line only picked up on my 4th attempt, after waiting around 30 minutes. The agent I finally reached was extremely arrogant, and even told me that I cannot file a complaint because I don’t have a contract with UPS (the sender does).

Their system also claimed “We’ll try again on the next business day”, but the next day came and went with no delivery attempt and no status update on their tracking site.

This shows complete disregard for customers and accountability.

Liars, cheats, scumbags - period!

TL;DR: Lazy, lying drivers; useless customer "service"; WORST shipper in Hungary by a mile! Please COMPLAIN to government offices, politicians, and the media!

Hungary is quite (in)famous for lousy customer service. We know it and we love her for it. Shipping companies are especially bad but, good gracious, U.P.S. takes it to a whole other level!

I've had around a dozen deliveries handled by U.P.S. over the past three years and not a single one went without some kind of trouble. At the best of times, they won't give you an indication of when the driver might come so you end up sitting around waiting the whole day. At other times, you're not home so the guy drops it off with someone (such as an "Eszter") and you go figure out who it is. (In my case, it was a U.P.S. pickup point five blocks away, but I only found that out after the sender had raised hell about it in Spain.)

The most recent debacle involved a package shipped by Skechers from Belgium. It arrived in Vecses, U.P.S.'s portal was showing the good old "address incomplete" hoax so I emailed customer "service." No response. The next day, the status said I had rejected the shipment and it was being returned to Belgium. Um... - WHAT!?!?! Now I see that's apparently their latest modus operandi.

I remonstrated with Skechers (who says U.P.S. is a global partner so nothing they can do) but I also filed a complaint with Hungary's consumer protection agency.

Folks, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE be vocal about this. Complain not just to the parties involved but also to the media, to Corporate in the U.S., to politicians (on social media), to government agencies, etc. Writing reviews does nothing, unfortunately, except help us vent. In an ideal world, of course, they'd all get summarily fired and never employed by anyone else, ever. We can but dream...

Extremely disappointed with Apple and…

Extremely disappointed with Apple and UPS!
I can’t believe a company the size of Apple still works with UPS in Hungary. Their service is beyond unacceptable – drivers never arrive at the delivery address, never call, and still report “attempted delivery” as if customers weren’t home. This is outright dishonesty.

How can Apple, a brand known for premium products and customer experience, rely on such an unreliable and unprofessional delivery company? I paid a high price for a premium product and received lies, delays, and zero communication in return.

I am extremely dissatisfied and will take legal action against both Apple and UPS for the stress, wasted time, and moral damages caused. Customers deserve respect, not false promises and endless frustration.

Völlig unzuverlässig.

Völlig unzuverlässig.
Man bekommt mitgeteilt, ass man sehr abgelegen leben würde (was nicht stimmt - kleiner Ort mit >2500 Einwohnern in unmittelbarer Nachbarschaft einer Stadt mit >10K Einwohnern) und man würde schnellstmöglich einen neuen Liefertermin nenen.
Darauf wartet man dann, und wartet, und wartet....

Dass in einem Paket eventuell Ware oder Dokumente drin sein könnten, die man dringend erwartet - egal, wen interessieren solche Kleinigkeiten.
Dass in den Paketen Dinge sein könnten, für die bereits viel Geld bezahlt wurde - egal, wen interessiert das schon.
Soetwaas kommt dabei heraus, wenn Unternehmen sich nur noch in höheren Sphären bewegen und jegliche Bodenhaftung verloren haben. Man vergisst den eigentlichen Unternehmenszweck - Ware von A nach B zu liefern, effizient, zuverlässig und so schnell wie es eben möglich ist.
Undan soetwas erkennt man dann eben auch, ob ein Unternehmen gut geführt ist, oder miserabel. Im Fall von UPS Hungary ist halt ein völliger Saftladen heraus gekommen. Finger weg.

Avoid!

According to their own website, my package has been in Vecsés for 1 week, they are not delivering my package citing various bogus reasons. I called them, after 10 minutes of being on the phone, the lady asked for my address and phone number and then said that Amazon did not give my phone number, so they did not deliver it, but it will be delivered within 1-2 days, the package still did not arrive, their system says that I requested the delivery to be rescheduled... another call, a lady with a worn voice said that the text on the website is obviously not true and that they have not yet approved the urgent delivery of the delivery... the package was supposed to be a gift, as a Prime member, I do not pay Amazon for this. Now I am starting to perceive the whole thing as my package being stolen...

A completely unreliable company

A completely unreliable company. Customer service is unreachable, and they don't provide any meaningful response to complaints sent by email. The tracking system is useless. I wouldn't recommend them to anyone, because they're nothing but trouble.

Delivery issue

To me, it is simply unbelievable how a package that has already been received can just disappear. All the data and delivery information is available — including the delivery date. Then suddenly, a new delivery date appears, without any explanation or specific timing. When you finally manage to reach customer service, they simply say they see the issue, but cannot do anything and advise you to request a search through the sender. What kind of logistics is this????

UPS in Hungary is the worst of all

UPS in Hungary is the worst of all. There is no level below that. The driver claimed he was at the house to pick up the parcel which is doubtful as I was watching out for it the whole day. Even my small dog was silent although he barks at every moving person. Not even a call was done by the driver. Next day I got an email that the driver will pick up the parcel in 30 minutes and he never showed up again. Even in the evening I read that my pick-up was deleted as per request. This is not even a Third World Service its a shit-show. Shame on you UPS whoever makes delivery in Baranya, Orfű area.

Avoid if you can

UPS HU is shockingly unresponsive and unprofessional.

They claim to have attempted delivery twice - with no proof like a delivery attempt slip of course, and I was home all day with no one calling or ringing the bell.
They say they will no longer make an attempt and do not provide information as to whether I could at least collect my parcel, so I now consider it lost.
I tried calling customer service several times, basically after 20-30 min wait, someone picks up, and hangs up without speaking to get rid of the call. This level of disrespect for the customer is unparalleled and should be legally pursued and penalised.

It is impossible to reach them

They sent me a notification that my address is incomplete (I gave my full and correct address while ordering) and there is no way to add the missing information anywhere. They don't pick up the phone on customer service at any time of the day and their website is a scam with no actual function. I reached out to the company I ordered from and they said that they will reach out to UPS with my phone number and UPS will call me. Well, I never got the call. I would not recommend this company to anyone.

Ups is a terrible delivery service

Ups is a terrible delivery service, they log false delivery attempts. They dont call the recipient before even if the addres might not be 100% accurate, e.g. Doorbell nunber was missing. So how can they do any attemt if they dont know how to enter to the building???
