They never picked up my shipment

UPS Hungary never came to pick up my shipment. There is no way to contact them. I have paid for the shipment. The shipment was very time sensitive and now I am stuck with my shipment not even being picked up. I have no way to contact them and claim my money back. This is absolute worst delivery company that I have ever dealt with. I have no idea how are they still allowed to be "working" and scam people. No one should even think to have any business with UPS Hungary!

They almost never deliver

They almost never deliver. They just add 'The receiver was not available for delivery.' to the logs. Out of 10 recent packages, only 1 was delivered to my appartment. Other delivery services have no problems delivering to the exact same address, but UPS just makes fake attempts.

Customer service is also non-existent. They don't answer the phone for 25 minutes and their email responses are just restating the obvious incorrect information from tracking.

this company may not call a courier service

this company may not call itself a courier service and it is a pity that you cannot give 0 stars otherwise I would have given it, with both webshops that sent something via ups ups said that the address is incorrect despite multiple messages and screenshots of my address with google maps and proof that another courier could deliver a package. I would never send anything via this courier service myself

Worst delivery company

First of all i dont used to write reviews because i dont have time for this and opinion about services can be very subjective. But at this time I would like to warn people to avoid this company at all cost, if they want to reiceive their package successfully without problems as it should stay away from UPS. it is not a first time that they unable to deliver packages and i have to chase the driver. I want all of you know beware of this company for your sake.

UPS lying all the way

UPS delivery van falsely logs 'delivery attempted, addressee not available'. The address is in a dead end village, no van goes unnoticed. They did this twice, marking the second(!) time as the third(!) and last attempt saying the package is being sent back to the UK.
PUNCHLINE: Magyar Posta is way above UPS in reliability and speed. Seriously.

Utterly Unreliable and Deeply Disappointing

It’s been over two months since I arranged for my parcels to be sent from the UK to Hungary. A month in, I was suddenly hit with a large additional fee, on top of nearly £300, due to UPS massively miscalculating the weight of my shipment.

Since then, I’ve submitted three emails and one formal complaint via email. Not one has received a response.

They now claim they were unable to deliver the parcels in Hungary, yet I never received a single phone call, text message, or email about the arrival or any attempted delivery. I’ve now been informed that the parcels are being returned to the UK, without my consent or any real communication.

The contents of those parcels were important and time-sensitive. This entire ordeal has caused significant stress, anxiety, and financial strain. The lack of accountability and customer service is astonishing.

I would strongly advise others to avoid using UPS. They have shown complete disregard for their customers and the most basic standards of service. A deeply disappointing experience from start to finish. And it's still not the end of it all..

Hulladék (dícséret)

Hulladék egy dicséret lenne az UPS Hungary-nak, Nemzetközi csomagokat sohasem sikerül nekik elsöre kihozni, többszörösen fel kell hivnom az ügyfélszolgálatot és mint egy papagáj már nemtudom hanyadszorra bemondani a címadatokat. Valami oknál fogva mindig elvesztik a címet vagy nem jut el a futárhoz az információ, ezért kell minimum felhivni 2-3szor ugyan azzal a problémával. Ha saját magam nem követném a csomagot ki se hoznák, értesitést sem küldenének,rohadna a depóba aztán visszaküldik. Sajnos rendszeresen rendelek külföldröl és az eladók viszont ragaszkodnak UPS-hez, furcsa módon a DPD, Fedex és egyéb szolgáltatóknak mindig sikerül probléma nélkül kihozna. inkompetencia magas fokon.

Worst company ever

Worst company ever. I would not even call it a delivery company as they do absolutely nothing, on top the company is full lazy incompetent employees. I would give 0 star, if that would be an option.

The worst delivery company.

The worst delivery company.
They wont deliver your package. You pay for a product and a delivery service and your package will be lost, stolen or returned to the sender.
UPS is a fake delivery company, they don’t do a thing.

Worst delivery ever

Worst delivery ever, stupid, not understandable translation, needed to install the app to get a delivery time. Misleadings during the “delivery”. I have never thought I will write it ever, but even the Hungarian post is better. Never again UPS!

The worst delivery service

It is absolutely one of the worst delivery service I have ever experienced. Unfortunately I cannot rate it zero stars or less than 1.
They claimed that there were 4 attempts to deliver my package ( one at 22:00 hrs!!). But they never called me or range my bell, even though I called customer support to check if they had my correct phone number or not.
I asked the support staff to ask the delivery person to call me when he arrives, and the staff replied that she can request the delivery person but could not be guaranteed that he will call. What kind of service is this??

Now, they are claiming that since there were 4 attempts, the package is going back to origin. I requested the customer support person to keep the package in Vecsés, so that I can pick it up later and she said that was not an option and the package is going back and nothing can be done about it now.

This is the most unreliable, incompetent service provider I have ever experienced in my life Avoid UPS as much as possible

This company is a nightmare

This company is a nightmare. My order has been in Budapest since May 16 and I finally received it today only after I informed them I would pick it up. Three times they informed me it was undeliverable because the address was incorrect and once they blamed the weather. I was able to view the original label and the address has always been correct. They simply lied. This is common with UPS. When I lived in New York City, they consistently delayed delivered for a variety of non-valid and untrue reasons. The fact is, this is simply a terrible delivery company and they lie to cover their a---s.

This company should shut down ASAP

This service is not merely unacceptable, it is not even a service. They do not inform you that they deliver your parcel on a specific day, yet they expect you to be miraculously at home from 8 am to 6 pm. They are either unreachable by phone, or they don't give any information. They don't give you the phone number of the delivery guy, yet it is not included in the service that he calls you. Delivery literally means he drives by in front of your house and you should shout to stop him because he also does not ring your bell. And the way they talk to customers is just blood-boiling. This company should not exist at all.

UPS is cheating, because they don't have enough drivers

UPS incorrectly flagged my address as invalid, despite it being perfectly correct. Then, instead of resolving the issue, they falsely marked the delivery as “rescheduled by the receiver” — not once, but twice. I never requested any changes to the delivery schedule. Completely unprofessional and misleading. I lost valuable time and received no proper assistance. Very disappointing experience.

UPS Hungary is a complete failure

UPS Hungary is a complete failure. They simply refuse to deliver. 1. I was home the entire day on supposed day of deliver. 2. I called and gave them my phone number and confirmed the entry code. 3. Then they post on UPS site the address is incorrect?? All other courier companies have delivered successfully. My package is from Amazon and I'll get a refund and reorder the same to another country with another courier.

Karina’s lies & disgraceful shambles as “service”. Zero stars

Please do get rid of Karina. I don’t think that I ever spoke with a customer agent that spoke worse than this woman to customers, she’s affectating as if she was speaking to a retard.

As for my package - every other review said it but apparently its “address incorrect or missing info”
First delivery attempt yesterday - I called UPS as soon as amazon texted. The agent asked for a phone number so I gave a second one they’ve 2 now.
Today: same “address incorrect……” at midday. My sister’s at home with her baby, it’s her address.
So I call UPS again and then I had the misfortune to reach KARINA.
Goodness me, this woman. She never listens to a full sentence, but eagerly gives affectated monolouges like a robot designed to upset a customer. As if the customer was a 5 year old and she was spoon feeding some eternal truths for the 20th time… except it’s how she begins. And she only gets worse. She treats you as if you were stupid and how dare you point out her contradictions... But I learned some interesting things from her.
1) their tracking should be ignored as it’s incorrect she claims - there’s no certainty of delivery just because it says delivery, and so on, ee all should ignore such statuses according to Karina
2) address incorrect means our address could not be found she claims HOWEVER she absolutely certainly attests that the delivery attempt means the courier scanned the parcel AT THE ADDRESS. The address that can’t be found, during the delivery attempts that aren’t happening, and this is all according to her.
3) if someone updates their address info, “it takes at least multiple days for the warehouse to update data” because “they’ve a few hundred packages at once”. And no you can’t get any info as to when that update happens. Except that it appears in your tracking info with immediate timing - but Karina states it takes days. She also claims that clearly they make no calls at 22.00 and later when their couriers return to depot - to explain why there are never calls - except the status of failed deliveries happened twice at midday. To which she argued with me that it was 22:00 - while I had the tracking info open in front of me. How to believe… my eyes or Karina. I asked her which of us is lying she said it’s not her.
4) they ask for a phone number and say that a missing phone number means the address will be marked incomplete, however - quoting Karina “it’s not part of our service to make calls”.

So basically nothing is part of the service. Deliveries that show happening ain’t happening, and tracking should be ignored by the customer (says Karina), but of course she claims she’s certain that packages are scanned at the addresses - the addresses which apparently cannot be found during the deliveries which apparently aren’t always happening just because tracking says they were. Phone numbers are mandatory else an address is “incomplete” and delivery fails but it’s not part of their service to call those phone numbers so they literally know thet won’t use them…
Oh and now that there’s an “update” of the second phone number in the system, the address cannot be updated to ship elsewhere because we won’t be home from tomorrow.

21st century Hungarian service mentality, all laid bare. Only everyone else even the awful Hungarian post office do better.
When Miss Karina couldn’t affectate another excuse as if someone was to be seriously looked down upon by her mighty self, she began talking over me again in her standard fashion, repeatedly “have a good daaay” “have a good daaaay” in Hungarian and she hung up. Last thing I told her was, I’d like to introduce myself again - I’m the customer who paid. She hung up at that.

The worst UPS experience I had…

The worst UPS experience I had worldwide was in Hungary! They never attempt to deliver the item to your home, and no call or doorbell rings. You just received a message that they could not deliver the package and now you have to go pick it up yourself to the pickup location. They lie about not being able to deliver the package. It happens all the time.

On top of that their support phone numbers are not working.
