I received a phone call with explicit directions to fix my quick depletion of batteries issue. Everything's fine now.

For the second time, an alarm went off while I was playing pickleball in Beverly MA, and emergency crews were sent to my home in Peabody, 15 miles away !!! I had responded by phone that the signal was a false alarm but still, the alert was sent . This is not what I signed up for !!!!

The watch is a few months old and the batteries are needing to be changed several times a day. The watch alarm is triggered by movements such as showering, doing laundry, watering flowers, and even walking with my walker on rough terrain.

Poor build quality; gimmicky; overpriced.

I fell in my garage. My watch asked me if I needed help. I was so dazed because I hit my head very hard on the concrete floor I didn't respond so the watch notified the call center. The operator there asked me if I needed help. I didn't respond coherently, so they immediately called my local 911 center and had EMTs dispatched. I had help within 15 minutes. It was determined that I fractured the C2 vertebrae in my neck.

I had the best possible experience imaginable with my last conversation with UnaliWear! I called to order another wristband thinking I would be charged, and was told that I wouldn’t have to pay anything for it! The person I spoke to understood exactly what I needed, knew exactly what to do, and took care of it instantly, proving to me once again that UnaliWear is the best fall detection service there is!

Unaliwear, the maker of the Kanega watch, has amazing customer service. I rated it 5 stars because of their customer service. I have been a customer for several years and have not had any complaints that were not addressed immediately. I highly recommend the Kanega watch to anyone that needs a fall detection device because I feel it is absolutely the best product of its type on the market today.

Customer Service is very good however it took several calls before someone said the watch wasn’t functioning as expected. Also, the battery prong breaks quite often and it is very expensive to replace.

It is very sensitive. I once a long while back, quickly brought my arm up as I sat down in my chair. It went of and I was able to talk to someone and explain That I was ok and why I thought it went off. With the extra batteries and convenient charger, I replace them every morning, and it will alert you if the battery does need changing. My children are very pleased that I am wearing the watch and they will be notified if I do have an incident.

The watch does everything as outlined in brochure. It has learned my way of life, my movements, etc. It let's know when batteries need charging.

I change my battery at the same time every day and it seems to get bad at an earlier time sometimes

Someone is always there. Response time is immediate. You never have to worry, and it is easy.

Overall, I am very happy with my experience. There are only two less than positive comments that I can make. The first is that my phone indicates a fall, even for such things as pushing hard on a knife to cut something or shaking a bottle in the kitchen. The second is that the two times I have tried to call Fred Astair, neither for an emergency, I was put on hold for a lengthy time before an operator came on the phone. I do appreciate being reminded to take my pills. I also appreciate that I am able to wear my phone in the shower.

The Kanega Watch is a great product and it's made in the USA! The customer service from UnaliWear is fantastic and they've been very patient with my difficult parent. It's perfect for folks who need something with with fall detection, but don't want a pendant.

The Kanega Watch has been a lifesaver for my grandma (and mom!). My grandma lives independently and is able to continue to do so because the Kanega provides round the clock coverage in the case of an emergency. And even better, my mom can rest easy, knowing she's safe. We chose the Kanega because the 24/7 monitoring service already knows who she is when an alert comes from the watch. After doing so much research online, we found that the Kanega's coverage and service was far superior to others on the market. Totally worth the price!

I fell in the garage and couldn’t get up.
The Kanega watch signaled me to indicate it had detected a fall, and then called the call center (I didn’t have my cell phone).
The call center was slow to answer, but it eventually contacted me and sent the fire department.

Without the watch, I don’t know what I would have done.
I was stranded but the Kanega watch saved the day!!
