No problem the watch is great
The watch is great, but only problem was the batteries
being lose three batteries. This year no problems by using black tape on batteries.

You really should not have to tape the batteries to the watch to keep them from falling out. The watch gives me great comfort.
The watch is so easy to wear. I do remove it when I mow because the bumps and vibration sheets it of and I can't hear it to reset. Gives me great peace of mind.

I should've received a bill for watch…
I should've received a bill for watch renewal prior to auto credit card charge. Also, I am not satisfied with response time to emergency call.

With regard to response time to an emergency call, our national average is less than 1 minute, which includes approx. 15-20 seconds where the watch allows you to cancel the alert if you don't want to speak to an agent (our wearers appreciate this ability to stop an alert if it is not necessary before connecting to our 24/7 monitoring center). That said, if you have a specific instance where the monitoring center is taking longer to respond than that, please contact us to investigate that issue further. All the best and stay well and safe.

Having a hard time getting batteries to charge…It happened in the past and got new batteries and still happening. 10/21/2024
Having a hard time getting batteries to fully charge. Sometimes great and then.... I was told to leave them in the charger all the time which I do. Changed yesterday morning 8:00 am and this morning replaced them in my watch. One was fully charged and the other 43%. This happens often. Then sometimes both are fully charges%%%.

My watch is on duty 24-7
It's always comforting to have my watch on the alert, watching for a fall. Sometimes I get a false reading, but that's ok; it tells me the Kanega watch is working and on guard.

Correct, no fall detection is 100% accurate, since it is predictive and not observational. The Kanega Watch's fall detection is rated the best in the industry, designed specifically to greatly limit false alerts, so you are getting many fewer false alerts than other devices. That said, please remember that we can always reduce the sensitivity of your watch's fall detection to further eliminate those false alerts. If that is something you would like, we can make that adjustment remotely, at your request. All the best and stay well and safe.
Battery Issue
Called on 10/14 re battery issue. Told he would check with engineering and would call me back "tomorrow". I still have not received a call back as of 10/18 evening. Hove soled issue by changing batteries twice a day.
I would suggest that staff follow through as promised.

The UnaliWear watch has given me peace of mind anywhere I am. The product works great, the people have been wonderful to deal with and I haven't had any problems with it and I've had it about one year. I would definitely recommend it.

i am mostly satisfied
i am mostly satisfied, but still have a problem with my watch being a little too sensitive about fall detection. I have had about a half dozen times when my watch signaled a Fall when I actually did not fall. It happens when my hand is jiggling slightly due to what I am doing. My hand is at waist level when I am riding over bumpy terrain when the watch signals a Fall. The watch did signal a real fall, however, when I lost my balance and fell, but it was on soft ground so I was not hurt in any way.

Thank you for being a regular Kanega Watch wearer for over 7 months. Our fall detection is rated the best in the industry, but it is not perfect. That said, a false alert less than 1x/month is pretty good (most competitive offerings have a 1+ false alert/day). As you can imagine, jittery vibrations over bumpy terrain while biking could certainly seem to your watch that you are falling. Please know you always have the option to have the sensitivity of your watch's fall detection reduced, if you find those periodic false alerts annoying. If you would like us to make that adjustment to your watch remotely, simply call us at 888-343-1513 and we will be happy to do that for you. All the best and stay well and safe.

Proactive in notifying us of a problem with the Watch and/or batteries. Instructions to troubleshoot and send results were clear. Action follow-up was prompt. Sending back the old Watch and batteries was easy also.

Disappointed
I bought this watch to help me prevent falls and notify if I should happen to fall. I am disappointed with your company's policy regarding the replacement of batteries. At one time, they send a battery to me because right away it was no good, no charge. After that, when another battery went bad, I had to pay $39.
Why aren't you generous with folks who need this so badly:? There was an occasion when the watch fell off my arm when I was out-of-town between planes in Punta Gorda. 911 went into my home apt. Of course, I was not there as I was traveling. Each time I either talk on the phone or have had a conversation when the watch tries to go off --at least 5 times. Yesterday, again I was on the phone and it happened again, I tried to call 911. I am disappointed. Your staff had to be called many times to lower the sound.
I expected so much more from your company.

We are sorry you are disappointed, but are encouraged to know you are wearing your watch regularly. Regarding the batteries, we replace batteries for free as part of your service when they lose their rechargeability (after about approx. 2 years of regular recharging). If a wearer breaks or loses a battery, we replace the first one for free, as a courtesy. After that, if you repeatedly lose or break the batteries (which is quite rare) you have to pay for them. At your request, we have not lowered the sensitivity of your fall detection but have lowered the sensitivity of your voice activation. We can see on our end in reviewing the performance of your watch remotely that this appears to have resolved your false alerts. We really hope your experience with our company improves and look forward to keeping you safe and providing you with the peace of mind you deserve for years to come. The staff is helpful
The staff is helpful, the watch works well although I have never fallen it is good to know that help can be summoned easily. There are certain motions that activate the watch, like shaking the bathroom rugs. But if you know it's going to go off you just turn it off. It is easy to wear and easy to charge the batteries. If you misplaced it, as I have, it is important to call the call center before the batteries run down as the staff can send a signal to the watch so you can hear it and locate the watch. Yes, shaking out a bathroom rug, particularly if you wear your Kanega Watch a bit loose, can potentially trigger the fall detection, but, as you say, you can just push the crown button of the watch and to stop the alert system from contacting the operator. Please note, as well, that we can adjust the fall detection sensitivity of your watch remotely, to make it less likely that this movement will trigger a fall alert in the future. I gave a 5 star rating because If it detects a fall their system does all the work. It is easy to use and has a GPS system that is always on you. I have had right many falls detected that were not falls. But you simply push the crown and that takes care of it. It looks like a very expensive watch. You do have to change the batteries daily. I am very pleased with my watch.
