Unaliwear watch is not made for elderly people with dementia. Watch is too complicated for my mother to take batteries out and she broke them more than once. Every new battery is $50.00. We were told we purchased the watch for $149.00 plus a 50.00 set up fee in Aug 2023. After cancelling her watch and finding a new service for my mother. We were told we had to return the watch. Unaliwear then charged us $60.00 for the return of the watch. Beware of poor customer service. Plus watch will alert a fall all the time even if just sitting at the table!!

- After looking for over a year for an alert watch for my wife, a friend told me about the Kanega. It has every feature most people could want in addition to an innovative and unique battery system. I was so impressed with it that I even bought one for myself so I could try it out. I was not planning to test the fall protection feature but, due to a bump in the sidewalk, I verified that it works very well. I supplied the answers to several questions to UnaliWear, which they put into the watch and it worked straight out of the box. It required no computer skills. It has more futures than I could easily list here so I recommend the UnaliWear web site. It was very evident that the inventor developed it for a loved one.

I was charged for a defective watch when it was returned in working condition. I removed the batteries, packed it in a METAL watch box with foam packing, and packed it in shipping peanuts. In addition, the watch never worked for me. It went off constantly with false alarms and never once when I actually fell.

I'm a health insurance agent who specializes in Medicare. I've done a lot of research on these types of devices & decided on this watch for my loved ones. We love that this watch is easy to use-right out of the box with very little set up. It's water resistant & can be worn in the shower, so you never have to take it off. It's discreet, looks just like a regular watch. We've had great experiences with customer service & the test calls we have done. The representatives of the company have gone above & beyond to help & answer all our questions. Very happy with this product & so glad it exists!

I am 80 years old and quite active. I had no interest in a pendant and didn't want or need all the features in an Apple Watch. The Kanega Watch is perfect! I can wear it everywhere, all the time and feel protected and safe, even in the shower. I've only fallen once (so far!)) and it worked. I didn't need help from the agent who spoke to me through my watch, but it was a great test! I have called through the watch to an agent to contact my neighbor for help and, again, it worked perfectly. So happy I have this watch. Highly recommend it and the company/service.

My Mother-In-Law has had her Kanega Watch for a few years now and loves it (we do too)! It's easy for her to use and wear and of course it give us all peace of mind. The customer service is always stellar! They are quick to respond and help any way they can. We all highly recommend the Kanega Watch!

I got the Kanega Watch because I did not want to wear something around my neck but wanted to be protected from falls and other emergencies. It works as advertised - I have fallen several times and the watch has detected the fall and connected me directly with a rep and they contacted EMS when I need them to. I really like the watch and love the fact I never have to take it off to charge. Batteries are easy to change out, as well. Highly recommend!

I have been wearing a Kanega watch from Unali for over a year 24/7, 365. Every contact I have had with customer service has been positive: prompt, courteous and helpful. The watch is absolutely the best choice for anyone who needs fall-detection-- the watch actually responds to me--no effort on my part to reach a real person--the person talks to me as soon as the watch detects a fall. And the watch reads my movements, and has learned to detect an actual fall. Another plus: I don't have reliable cell-signal where I live, and the watch also works on WIFI. The batteries are very easy to change daily as required. However, a wearer who has dementia would need help with that. You may pay a little more for this pretty watch than you will for that ugly pendant around the neck that requires the wearer to find, and push, that button to get help, but overall, the Kanega watch is well worth the money. I may sound like a salesperson, but I am just a well-satisfied Kanega-wearer.

I fell 2 months ago and broke my left femur. I was so lucky to have been wearing my Kanega Watch. It saved me because it was able to detect my fall and immediately send an ambulance to my residence. I am grateful for my Kanega Watch.
