Travel arrangements, hotel, guide, tours all good

The quality of the guides were great and well worth any tip they received.
I feel there are too many temples on the trip to cambodia.Pick the best ones and limit time at others.The heat and humidity can be too much for some.
The killing fields has to be included but those who find it too upsetting could be left maybe at a market or relax at the hotel.
The last day of events were a waste of time.
Best buddist temples already visited.No need for anymore.
Overall a great trip and a Cambodian trip is a must before the Chinese takeover with their holiday villages.
Less commercial than Thailand and great value for travellers and encourage travellers to buy some US DOLLARS before arriving in Cambodia.

Great trip ,my first time with travel dep,, took all the worry out travel, airport easy, guide brilliant, hotel very good, food good,the only thing ,was the long journey on bus frim airport to hotel, apart from that everything was spot on,

Our trip to Norway was fantastic from start to finish. Made even better by our guide Vidar, who really was so helpful. We saw so much and everything ran so smoothly. Definitely a trip to remember.

The guide Maria was great, very helpful, informative and patient. The driver Fatima had to negotiate very winding cliff edge roads and she did it expertly. Hotel Melia Mare could not be faulted, staff friendly and helpful. It was great we did not have to sit for meals as a group as per past experience!!

Had a wonderful trip to India with the Travel Department. Great Guide, Coach Driver and Bus Boy. Lovely hotels, food great, something for everyone. Very well organised. Only downside was, would have liked a little free time to enjoy our hotel and recharge because it’s a very busy trip. But worth it

I have no complaints about travel department guide or the hotel. Maybe it was our age but getting the early flight was too much for us and we were exhausted when we got there.We depend on the Hop On ,Hop Off bus and its does'nt run like that anymore.It just goes around the city and does'nt stop.We will just make sure the flights are a bit later next time.

Going on Holidays with the Travel Department works really well and is a smooth experience from Start to Finish.

We had a fantastic holiday in Egypt. Travel Department have a wonderful team working for them. Our travel guide Emad ‘Dodi’ Fathy was amazing. From the beginning we felt we were in good hands. He travelled with us from Cairo to Luxor/Aswan and Hurghada on the Red Sea. His knowledge of Egyptian history and archaeology is profound. His understated knowledge of Egyptian culture and politics is illuminating. He is a humble and amiable person with a gift for patience in the face of adversity. Every person in our group had nothing but praise for the time and attention he gave to our holiday.
With staff like Dodi, Travel Department are a company which can be trusted to provide a trustworthy and unique experience to the tourist.

The whole trip was very well organised, the tours, the hotel, the transfers. We had a great team of drivers, and an excellent guide in Enis. I was impressed that they switched days for certain tours to take account of the weather.

had a fantastic trip to lake como .everything well organisedas usual. we use travel department quite a bit. never any complaints. our guide carol was brillant and give us quite a few laughs and tips bravo carol!!

We traveled to Andalucia, What made our experience great was our superb guide, Alex. He went above and beyond at every stage of the tour, My husband lost his phone and he rang the number, located the phone and brought him back to collect it.
He gave us an amazing potted history of Spain and had such a wonderful sense of humour.
On our return to the airport he ensured that we were queuing at the correct gate, organised assistance for those who needed it and sorted out our Aer Club booking for us,
I can't praise him enough; he was knowledgeable, fun and extremely helpful.

I would rate Riva Del Garda as a five star experience.
The scenery, accommodation, food, transport, excellent tourist guides, excursions to Verona and Venice with wonderful fellow travellers.

Congratulations to the Travel Dept for their input in making this destination special. I would recommend it as a nice location for this time of year, outstanding value for money with nice mild sunny weather.

My husband and I have just returned from holiday in Lake Maggiore Italy. 12th to 19th October.We had really enjoyable holiday. Hotel Beau Rivage was excellent near village centre, cafes and boat dock. Tours were interesting and relaxed. Our three couriers, Anna Barbara and Carolyn were caring, informative, friendly and efficient. A big thank you Travel Department.

Extremely well organised trip from start to finish with vists to incredible sites and monuments.
Really excellent tour guide, Sanjeev Kumar, who added so much to the overall experience with his organisation skills, huge knowledge of the sites we visited and also India as a country and insights into culture and society etc were fascinating. Sanjeev also made the whole trip seamless and
fun for us but I’m sure he did huge amounts in the background to make this happen!
Highly recommended this tour.
