We had a lovely time in Transylvania for the Christmas Markets and Draculas' Castle Tour.
As always, the Travel Department were exceptional in the organization of the trip and our Guide Mr. Radu was kind, knowledgeable and extremely helpful.
The Tour was a perfect mix of free time and trips. Our Hotel, the Casa Wagner was really nice and the staff were so friendly and welcoming. Our flight had been late leaving Dublin so we were not checking in until after 2 am but the staff were there waiting for us. The location is superb. I would definitely go back to this hotel again. What made this trip really special was the other people on the tour. We all got on great, we were all a good humoured bunch and it made a a lovely trip even more enjoyable.

Fantastic tour. The highlight was the magical Taj Mahal but there was so much to see on this tour. It was brought to life for us by the amazing knowledge of our wonderful tour guide Rahi, who guided us safely around so many historical palaces and forts along with our lovely driver Ram and helper Bola. (Hopefully I've spelt their names correctly).

Overall we had a great experience. Accommodation was excellent and food was very good, however you tire of buffets every day. On the tour we were on , there was a few days that we had free time and you had to spend it at the hotel as not appealing to walk around the area. I'd suggest a few optional activities be added. Someone in our group asked our guide to do this but not everyone would feel comfortable asking.

My trip to Egypt was amazing. The cruise up the Nile was fabulous. We had a super duper tour leader, Dodi, who is a true expert in his field, I was truly blown away by his knowledge.

Loved our visit to Malta. November is a great time to visit. Our guide was fantastic. Learned so much about the places we visited. Lots of history and interesting facts. The tour suited as we didn't even have to find a place to park the car! Our hotel was great. We went on a b&b basis. Tried a few cafés and restaurants locally which were great too. Grear service everywhere. Weather in November was like an Irish summer so was perfect. The trips were all very interesting.

Emad Dodi Fathy was an excellent guide on our recent trip to Egypt. He is top quality in terms of personality,knowledge and especially patience with all party members. He helped make the trip memorable

This trip was made great because I met a wonderful group of people. Our guide in Egypt was Dodi, from Cairo, and he made the trip very interesting and very enjoyable. Everything seemed to be so well planned and organised, that I would have no hesitation to book with the Travel Dept again.

The best was The group we were with, the guide, driver and Mr Bedibe the helper.
The itinerary was busy with a lot of travelling - didn’t get time to enjoy 4/5 star hotel facilities. Food was nice and especially in Deli breakfast was very good. Negatives - too much time spent at some of the textile shops.
The entire trip gave me a good look into life in India and Taj Mahal was better than expected which surprised me positively.

Just back from an amazing hol in Egypt with Travel Dept.Our guide, Emad ‘Dodi’, was exceptional, he ensured all ran smoothly, his tour talks were always interesting and he was fun to be with. Nothing was too much trouble, thanks Dodi.

I've just returned from a trip to Egypt using the traval department. our guide, Dodi, was excellent. He made the history of Egypt come alive with his knowledge and love of the country. He moved us from one part of the country to another seamlessly. I'm going to miss his lovely smile. Charlotte

My holiday to Italy was well organised, professional, welcoming and great fun. Having a lovely tour guide for the whole trip was fantastic. Would highly recommend the Travel Department.

A truly amazing holiday traveled to India s golden triangle Delhi Jaipur dolphour and Agra,visit many unesco sites Taj Mahal Sikh temple and had an evening meal with a wonderful India family,they showed us their way of life and cooked the meal in front of us was an incredible experience .our guide Rahi razi was a mind of information explaining the history of his country and their was a lot of history too he was always available to help in every situation. amazing would recommend this holiday to any bucket list

Our guide, Dodi was excellent. The only criticism I would make of the tour is the bathrooms on the river boat could be upgraded. A shower instead of a bath would be much more suitable for the age group of the passengers.

The guide made the tour, she was so interested in her job and was a brillant people’s person, she had so much knowledge of the tour and gave great background on the bus to where we were going and made everything so interesting, well done Engrid!

Was on a trip recently to Southern India with the Travel Department to Kerala and Goa, a great way to see the region. Some spectacular sunsets in Goa.

Very clear instructions about the trip and easily got through by phone to get more information on aspects of the trip.

We had a wonderful trip to South africa. The tour guide and fellow travellers were fantastic .The hotels,staff tours etc were excellent and I loved the safari and our guides and drivers there were excellent and went out of their way to show us everything. Fab trip from start to finish.

A well organised and well researched extensive tour of China, with a superb, highly experienced and knowledgeable tour guide, Richard Huo. Cannot recommend enough to anyone considering exploring the wonderful sights of China. We will remember it forever.
